[OVERVIEW]

Thanks to its great Speed stat, Floatzel is able to outspeed almost the whole unboosted metagame and, in conjunction with its offensive stats, is able to pressure many offensive Pokemon such as Pyroar, Golurk, Archeops, and Passimian. Floatzel has access to a combination of almost unresisted coverage moves, which makes it one of the best offensive Water-types in the tier. It also has access to Taunt, which lets it annoy bulkier team builds. Swift Swim also gives it good matchup versus Pokemon like Kabutops in rain. However, Floatzel is not bulky and will be KOed by priority moves very easily, and, despite its very good Speed stat, it can still get outsped and revenge killed by common Choice Scarf users such as Primeape and Pyroar.

[SET]
name: Specially Offensive
move 1: Hydro Pump
move 2: Ice Beam
move 3: Hidden Power Grass / Taunt
move 4: Focus Blast
item: Life Orb
ability: Swift Swim / Water Veil
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Hydro Pump is Floatzel's main STAB move, hitting everything that isn't immune or doesn't resist it relatively hard. Ice Beam hits Grass-types such as Lilligant, Shiftry, and Lurantis that Floatzel otherwise lets come in for free. Hidden Power Grass hits Gastrodon, which would otherwise wall Floatzel; it also chips Lanturn and Poliwrath. Taunt can be used if being walled by Gastrodon isn't a concern. Focus Blast rounds off Floatzel's moveset quite nicely, as it is able to hit Pokemon like Ferroseed, Cradily, and Abomasnow, which Floatzel would otherwise struggle against. Surf is also an option over Hydro Pump for its superior accuracy; however, Hydro Pump is still preferred due to its higher Base Power.

Set Details
========

252 Special Attack EVs maximize Floatzel's cleaning capabilities. 252 Speed EVs with a Timid nature make Floatzel as fast as possible to outspeed Pokemon such as Alolan Raichu and Archeops. Life Orb further enhances Floatzel's damage output to hit even harder. Swift Swim gives Floatzel a good matchup against rain; Water Veil can be used if you don't want Floatzel to be chipped by burn damage.

Usage Tips
========

Floatzel should be brought in by double switching or with slow VoltTurn support so that it doesn't have to take a hit, as it has very lackluster bulk. Floatzel functions as a great late-game cleaner due to its great Speed tier. Floatzel should be used to revenge kill common threats such as Pyroar, Archeops, and Magmortar. Whenever Floatzel is up against Pokemon such as Musharna, Sableye, or Ferroseed it can use Taunt to prevent Musharna from setting up, Sableye from recovering or spreading status, and Ferroseed from getting up hazards.

Team Options
========

Magmortar is a great teammate because it can weaken Lanturn while also resisting Grass and breaking through Pokemon like Ferroseed and Poliwrath and it really appreciates the removal of Fire-types. Ferroseed resists both Grass- and Electric-type attacks for Floatzel while supporting it with Stealth Rock and/or Spikes; in return, Floatzel pressures Fire-types such as Magmortar and Pyroar for Ferroseed. Offensive Grass-types such as Abomasnow, Lilligant, and Shiftry all appreciate Floatzel's ability to pressure their checks, such as Magmortar, Pyroar, and Turtonator. Archeops, while not having any useful resistances for Floatzel, can break through bulkier Grass-types like Lurantis as well as set up Stealth Rock, which greatly aids Floatzel in wallbreaking. Floatzel appreciates slow VoltTurn support to come in without having to take a hit; Pokemon like Mesprit, Lanturn, and Togedemaru can fill this role, and the latter two also provide an electric immunity. Eelektross is another good Volt Switch user, and it can also weaken Lanturn with Giga Drain and beat Ferroseed with Flamethrower.

[SET]
name: Bulk Up
move 1: Bulk Up
move 2: Waterfall
move 3: Low Kick
move 4: Aqua Jet / Ice Punch
item: Fightinium Z
ability: Water Veil
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Bulk Up boosts Floatzel's Attack and Defense stats to great levels. Waterfall is Floatzel's best physical STAB move, which hits very hard when boosted. Low Kick hits most Steel-types and Cradily, which would otherwise wall this set. Aqua Jet is used to clean up late-game if your opponent still has a weakened Choice Scarf user or a priority user. Ice Punch can be used to hit Lilligant without using Floatzel's Z-Move; it also hits Gourgeist-XL, which is immune to Floatzel's Z-Move and a bigger concern than Choice Scarf users.

Set Details
========

252 Attack EVs paired with 252 Speed EVs and a Jolly Nature maximize Floatzel's capabilities to sweep. Water Veil prevents Floatzel from being burned by the likes of Sableye, which would otherwise cripple Floatzel. Fightinium Z in conjunction with Low Kick allows Floatzel to OHKO Ferroseed at +1; it also does good damage to Lanturn.

Usage Tips
========

Floatzel should be used as a late-game sweeper because it will struggle to get kills without the opposing team being weakened. You should always be wary about using Floatzel's Z-Move as soon as you reveal Bulk Up because your opponent can easily pivot around it. Only bring Floatzel in when it's safe to set up with Bulk Up or to revenge kill. Aqua Jet can be used to revenge kill weakened Choice Scarf users; it also gets around Sucker Punch users. Bulk Up allows Floatzel to take more priority moves such as Mach Punch and Sucker Punch. Bluffing your Floatzel set by switching twice in a row early-game can be helpful when actually starting to set up.

Team Options
========

Ferroseed is a really good partner because it can spread Leech Seed and set up Spikes and Stealth Rock, which Floatzel really appreciates; in return, Floatzel pressures Magmortar and Pyroar. In return, Floatzel pressures Fire-types such as Magmortar and Pyroar. Pokemon such as Pyroar, Archeops, Magmortar, and Abomasnow are all capable of breaking through Grass-types that this set cannot break after using its Z-move. Pokemon that appreciate Ferroseed removed such as Kangaskhan, Stoutland, Abomasnow, Mushara, and Carracosta all appreciate Floatzel as a partner, as it can lure in and KO Ferroseed for them. Floatzel really appreciates slow VoltTurn support, which allows it to avoid taking a hit. Pokemon such as Pyroar, Carracosta, and Alolan Raichu that appreciate special walls gone such as Type: Null and Clefairy appreciate this Floatzel set a lot.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A set with Choice Specs and Switcheroo can also be used to cripple specially defensive walls. After trading Choice Specs, however, Floatzel is fairly weak. A Life Orb specially oriented Floatzel set with Aqua Jet over Hidden Power Grass or Taunt is an option if Choice Scarf Pyroar is a big problem for your team. A Modest set with Choice Scarf is also an option, as it's able to outspeed almost the whole unboosted metagame bar Ninjask with Speed Boost, Choice Scarf Alolan Raichu, and Choice Scarf Pyroar. A Bulk Up set utilizing Groundium Z and Dig for Lanturn can be used but is generally less useful than Fightinium Z. A Floatzel set utilizing Choice Band can be used; however, pivoting around this is relatively easy. Waterium Z is also an option to nuke anything that doesn't resist Water at +1, but it's mostly outclassed by Fightinium Z. Substitute and Focus Punch with Fightinium Z can also be used to have a chance to OHKO Lanturn at +1 with All-Out Pummeling, but it leaves Floatzel with a worse move after using it's Z-Move because it can have a hard time keeping its Substitute intact.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Water-types**: Bulky Water-types, especially specially defensive ones that are able to eat Hidden Power Grass such as Qwilfish, Poliwrath, and Ludicolo, can give Floatzel a hard time. Lanturn is also able take on special sets even if they carry Hidden Power Grass and can retaliate with Volt Switch.

**Electric-types**: Faster Electric-types such as Electrode, Zebstrika, Choice Scarf Alolan Raichu, and Choice Scarf Manectric all outspeed and OHKO Floatzel with their STAB moves, though they must be wary of Aqua Jet when weakened. Eelektross is also a very good switch-in.

**Bulky Pokemon**: Bulky Pokemon like Clefairy, Cradily, Ferroseed, Type: Null, and Munchlax are all able to eat Floatzel's attacks but must be wary of the physical set.

**Priority Moves**: Floatzel's bulk is very lackluster, which makes it very easy to chip with moves such as Mach Punch and Sucker Punch from user such as Skuntank, Absol, Hitmonchan, and Gurdurr because the chip damage racks up rather fast.

[OVERVIEW]

  • Floatzel is able to pressure many offensive mons due to its good speed stat and offensive stats. I'd mention the mons here also expand more on its stellar speed tier imo
  • Access to almost unresisted coverage moves makes it one of the best offensive water types in the tier. would expand more on this by saying float can function as a wallbreaker or sweepert
  • Taunt allows Floatzel to annoy bulkier builds. wait what this seems kinda random
  • The ability Swift Swim gives it very good match up versus opposing rain. talk about water veil and why thats usually the preferred abilility
  • However Floatzel is great offensively it cannot take a hit well and can die to priority moves rather easy.
  • mention that special float isnt very strong
  • Can still get outsped by Choice Scarf users such as Primeape, Pyroar and Oricorio-Pom-Pom.
[SET]
name: Specially Offensive
move 1: Hydro Pump should slash surf here imo
move 2: Ice Beam
move 3: Hidden Power Grass / Taunt

nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Moves
========

  • Hydro Pump is a very good STAB move that hits everything not immune or resistant to it really hard.
  • Ice Beam allows Floatzel to hit Grass types such as Lilligant, Shiftry and Lurantis.
  • Hidden Power Grass is used to hit Gastrodon which would otherwise check Floatzel. it also allows it to chip lanturn ig
  • Taunt can be used if annoying bulkier builds is much more convenient and being walled by Gastrodon is not a concern. this is worded weird
  • Focus Blasts rounds off this set nicely because it can hit mons such as Ferroseed, Abomasnow and Togedemaru which would otherwise be a big problem for Floatzel. how would toge be a problem?

Set Details
========

  • Max Special Attack in conjunction with Max Speed and a Timid Nature maximize Floatzel's wallbreaking capabilities.
  • Life Orb is used to further enhance Floatzel's damage output to even greater levels.
  • mention swift swim and water veil
  • I think you should really expand on its speed tier since its super high

Usage Tips
========
  • Floatzel should be brought in with doubles or Volt Switch/U-Turn support because it does not want to take a hit due to its lackluster bulk. from what?
  • Floatzel can switch into some weaker resisted attacks. like what? you said it could not earlier
  • Floatzel can function as a good late game cleaner due to its great speed tier.
  • use float to revenge kill slower threats
  • mention when and what to taunt

Team Options
========

  • Magmortar is a great teammate because it really appreciates Fire types being gone while resisting Grass types and breaking through mons like Ferroseed and Togedemaru for Floatzel . ? float can break through toge just fine
  • Ferroseed resists both Grass- and Electric-types while also supporting Floatzel with Stealth Rocks and/or Spikes, Floatzel also removes Fire types for Ferroseed. examples of fire types pls
  • Offensive grass types such as Abomasnow, Lilligant and Shiftry all really appreciate Floatzel's support because it breaks most of their checks such as Magmortar, Pyroar and Specially Defensive Altaria. altaria is a weird example since it isnt common at all
  • Archeops while not having any usefull resistances for Floatzel can break through bulkier Grass types as well as setting up Stealth Rocks which can greatly aid Floatzel with wallbreaking. what kind of bulky grass-types?
  • Floatzel itself really appreciates slow Volt-Turn support to come in without having to take a hit mons like Lanturn, Mesprit and Togedemaru can fill this role. I dont think it needs volt turn support
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options

  • A set with Choice Specs and Switcheroo can also be used to cripple specially defensive walls however after trading the Choice Specs Floatzel is fairly weak.
  • Life Orb Specially Oriented Aqua Jet is an option if Choice Scarf Pyroar is a big problem for your team.
  • Modest Scarf is also an option because its able to outspeed almost the whole unboosted metagame bar Ninjask with Speed Boost, Choice Scarf Alolan Raichu, Choice Scarf Raichu and Choice Scarf Pyroar.
  • PHYSICAL
  • Rain Dance is also an option for rain teams however this is outclassed by Ludicolo, Qwilfish, Kabutops and Poliwrath. this is terrible and I would just remove tbh
  • choice band
  • bulk up zmove

Checks and Counters
===================

**Zebstrika & Electrode**: Zebstrika and Electrode both naturally outspeed Floatzel and are able to comfortably OHKO it with their STAB moves however they must be wary of switching into Floatzel because they are rather frail. ? these electric types are not popular at all. mention something like lanturn

**Bulky Water types**: Bulky Water types, especially specially defensive Bulky Water types are able to eat even Hidden Power Grasses from Floatzel such as Lanturn, Qwilfish, Poliwrath, Gastrodon (if lacking Hidden Power Grass) and Ludicolo, Ludicolo is less bulky its able to eat any hit mainly due to its typing.

**Priority**

**Bulky mons**

**Fast Choice Scarf Users** Because of Floatzel's lackluster bulk it can not stay in because it will get outsped and killed by Choice Scarf Users such as Primeape, Pyroar, Haunter and Oricorio-Pom-Pom.

[OVERVIEW]

  • Floatzel is able to pressure many offensive mons such as Pyroar, Golurk, Archeops and Passimian due to its great speed stat and offensive stats. only thing here is that u should really highlight its speed more than a bit of one bullet, it's absolutely floatzel's best and most defining quality
  • Access to almost unresisted coverage moves makes it one of the best offensive water type wallbreakers in the tier also having Taunt allows it to annoy bulkier builds.
  • The ability Swift Swim gives it very good match up versus opposing rain.
  • However Floatzel is great offensively it cannot take a hit well and can die to priority moves rather easy.
  • Special Floatzel is not very strong. neither variant is the strongest, it's much more about speed than power
  • Can still get outsped by Choice Scarf users such as Primeape, Pyroar and Oricorio-Pom-Pom. scarf pompom sucks, 2 examples is fine or u can use something else

u can mention surf here as an outclassed option if u really want the accuracy, mentioning something in moves without slashing is fine in a case like this

Set Details
========

  • Max Special Attack in conjunction with Max Speed and a Timid Nature maximize Floatzel's wallbreaking capabilities. that's what the special attack does, not the speed
  • Life Orb is used to further enhance Floatzel's damage output to even greater levels.
  • Swift Swim gives Floatzel a way better match up versus rain. Water Veil can be used if you don't want to be chipped by burn damage.
  • Floatzel's speed tier allows it to outspeed almost the whole metagame being even faster than things like Pyroar, Archeops, Lycanroc and Raichu.

Usage Tips
========
  • Floatzel should be brought in with doubles or Volt Switch/U-Turn support because it does not want to take a hit due to its lackluster bulk.
  • Floatzel can function as a good late game cleaner due to its great speed tier.
  • Floatzel should be used to revenge kill slower threats such as Pyroar, Archeops and Magmortar.
  • Whenever Floatzel is up against mons such as Musharna, Sableye and Weezing it can use Taunt to prevent Musharna from setting up, Sableye from recovering or spreading status and Weezing to prevent Toxic Spikes.
ig somth about how float is quite useful late-game, it's the kind of mon that keeps other scarier things in check so u don't wanna like trade it with something else early if that's what u need to stop their specs pyroar or somth

Team Options
========

  • Magmortar is a great teammate because it really appreciates Fire types being gone while resisting Grass types and breaking through mons like Ferroseed for Floatzel.
  • Ferroseed resists both Grass and Electric types while also supporting Floatzel with Stealth Rocks and/or Spikes, Floatzel also removes Fire types such as Magmortar and Pyroar for Ferroseed. id try to use pressure instead of remove in general, float isn't the kind of mon that guarantees kills
  • Offensive grass types such as Abomasnow, Lilligant and Shiftry all really appreciate Floatzel's support because it breaks most of their checks such as Magmortar, Pyroar and Turtonator.
  • Archeops while not having any usefull resistances for Floatzel can break through bulkier Grass types like Lilligant, Cradily and Lurantis as well as setting up Stealth Rocks which can greatly aid Floatzel with wallbreaking.

Moves
========

  • Bulk Up boosts Floatzel's power to even greater levels.
  • Waterfall is Floatzel's best physical STAB move that hits fairly hard when boosted.
  • Low Kick can hit most Steel types that would otherwise wall this set. and cradily. also the z move is good neutral coverage for waters
  • Aqua Jet is used to clean up late game if your opponent still has a Choice Scarf user. or priority users
  • Ice Punch can be used if Grass types are a bigger concern than Choice Scarf users. i mean it's specifically to hit somth like lilligant without wasting the z

Set Details
========

  • Max Attack paired with Max Speed evs and a Jolly Nature maximize its capabilities to sweep.
  • Water Veil is used to prevent Floatzel from being burned which would otherwise cripple Floatzel's sweeping capabilities. specifically rly helps vs sableye
  • Fightinium Z in conjunction with Low Kick allows Floatzel to OHKO Ferroseed at +1 and do good damage to Lanturn.

Usage Tips
========

  • This Floatzel set should be used as a late game sweeper because it will otherwise struggle to get kills without the opposing team being weakened.
  • You should always be wary with using your Z-move as soon as you reveal Bulk Up because your opponent can pivot around it.
  • Only bring this Floatzel in when it's safe to revenge kill or setup with Bulk Up.
  • Aqua Jet can be used so Floatzel can revenge kill weakened Choice Scarf users. and gets around prio, sucker punch especially
bulk up can also be good for taking hits from physical scarfers, that can occasionally come in handy and is worth a mention. also i like bluffing what the float set is by doubling out earlier game when ur in on somth like magmortar, the surprise factor here is p good

Team Options
========

  • Bulky Grass types such as Ferroseed and Tangela are rather good partners because Ferroseed can setup Stealth Rocks/Spikes which helps Floatzel because after 2 Spikes and Stealth Rocks it's a roll to OHKO Lanturn while Tangela can spread Leech Seed and Sleep allowing Floatzel to safely come in on a mon that's asleep Floatzel breaks Fire types for them. yeah id emphasize spikes more separately, rly helps nab those KOs and chip scarfers
  • Mons such as Pyroar, Archeops, Magmortar and Abomasnow because they're all capable of breaking through Grass types that this set can not break if lacking Ice Punch.
  • Mons that appreciate Ferroseed gone such as Kangaskhan, Stoutland, Abomasnow, Musharna and Carracosta all really appreciate this Floatzel set because it can lure in Ferroseed for these mons.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • A set with Choice Specs and Switcheroo can also be used to cripple specially defensive walls however after trading the Choice Specs Floatzel is fairly weak.
  • Life Orb Specially Oriented with Aqua Jet (lo special is already a set, u should specifically be talking about jet over the hp grass/taunt slot) is an option if Choice Scarf Pyroar is a big problem for your team. also helps with lycanroc ig
  • Modest Scarf is also an option because its able to outspeed almost the whole unboosted metagame bar Ninjask with Speed Boost, Choice Scarf Alolan Raichu, Choice Scarf Raichu and Choice Scarf Pyroar. don't mention regular raichu lol, it's p bad
  • A Bulk Up set utilizing Groundium Z and Dig can be used but is generally less usefull than Fightinium Z. u can also mention waterium z as a usable but outclassed option
Checks and Counters
===================

**Lanturn**: Lanturn is able to take any special set on due to its great bulk and access to Volt Switch.
add these 2 sections together, lanturn needs a special mention but not its own section
**Bulky Water types**: Bulky Water types, especially specially defensive Bulky Water types are able to eat even Hidden Power Grasses from Floatzel such as Qwilfish, Poliwrath, Gastrodon (if lacking Hidden Power Grass) and Ludicolo, Ludicolo is less bulky but its able to eat any hit mainly due to its typing. the info here is fine, it's just worded in a very awkward manner

i would add a section on electric types here, zebstrika/electrode/scarf manectric/scarf alolachu all outspeed and OHKO u while eelektross is a good switchin to special and, uh,

**Specially Bulky PokeMons** Bulky mons like Clefairy, Cradily, Ferroseed, Type: Null and Munchlax are all able to eat Floatzel's attacks but the latter two have to be wary of the physical set.

**Priority Moves** Floatzel's bulk is very lackluster which makes it very easy to chip by moves such as Extreme Speed, Mach Punch, Vacuum Wave sucker punch is way more relevant to mention here. also u need to give examples of priority users and Quick Attack because the chip damage wracks up rather fast.

**Fast Choice Scarf Users** Because of Floatzel's lackluster bulk it can not stay in because it will get outsped and killed by Choice Scarf Users such as Primeape, Pyroar, Haunter and Oricorio-Pom-Pom again pompom just isn't good enough to mention.

  • However Floatzel is great offensively it cannot take a hit well and can die to priority moves rather easy. (that it doesn't resist, because it resists both ice shard and aqua jet)

  • Taunt can be used to annoy bulky mons that try to outstall Floatzel and if being walled by Gastrodon is not a concern. (taunt also helps against stall teams, as it can act as a pseudo-breaker, similar to Pyroar)
  • Focus Blast rounds off this set nicely because it can hit mons such as Ferroseed, Cradily and Abomasnow which would otherwise be a big problem for Floatzel.
  • Surf is an option if you want the accuracy but its generally outclassed due to its lower base power.

Set Details
========

  • Max Special Attack maximizes Floatzel's wallbreaking capabilities. (it's not really a wall breaker, more a cleaner)

  • Volturn again
  • Things that appreciate special walls such as type:null gone

Other Options
=============

  • A set with Choice Specs and Switcheroo can also be used to cripple specially defensive walls however after trading the Choice Specs Floatzel is fairly weak.
  • Life Orb Specially Oriented with Aqua Jet over Hidden Power Grass or Taunt is an option if Choice Scarf Pyroar is a big problem for your team.
  • Modest Scarf is also an option because its able to outspeed almost the whole unboosted metagame bar Ninjask with Speed Boost, Choice Scarf Alolan Raichu and Choice Scarf Pyroar.
  • A Bulk Up set utilizing Groundium Z and Dig can be used but is generally less usefull than Fightinium Z. (used for what?)
  • A Floatzel set utilizing Choice Band can be used however pivoting around this is relatively easy.
  • Waterium Z is also an option to nuke anything that doesnt resist it at +1 however it's mostly outclassed by Fightinium Z.
  • Focus Punch with Fightinium Z can also be used to have a change to OHKO Lanturn at +1 with All Out Pummeling but it leaves it with a worse move after using your z-move. (mention sub punch)
Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Water types** Bulky Water types, especially specially defensive Bulky Water types are able to eat even Hidden Power Grasses from Floatzel such as Qwilfish, Poliwrath, Gastrodon (if lacking Hidden Power Grass) and Ludicolo, Ludicolo is less bulky but its able to eat any hit mainly due to its typing. Lanturn is also able take on special sets even if they carry Hidden Power Grass and can retaliate with Volt Switch. (ludicolo isn't less bulky actually, has base 80 HP and base 100 SpD)

**Electric types** Faster Electric types such as Electrode, Zebstrika, Choice Scarf Alolan Raichu and Choice Scarf Manectric all outspeed and OHKO Floatzel with their STAB moves, Eelektross is a very good switch in. (must be wary of aqua jet if weakened btw)

**Specially Bulky Pokemons** Bulky mons like Clefairy, Cradily, Ferroseed, Type: Null and Munchlax are all able to eat Floatzel's attacks but the latter three have to be wary of the physical set. (really all of these struggle against the physical set, neither clef or cradily want to take a +1 Waterfall or +1 AOP, respectively)

**Priority Moves** Floatzel's bulk is very lackluster which makes it very easy to chip by moves such as Extreme Speed, Mach Punch, Vacuum Wave and Sucker Punch from user such as Skuntank, Pawniard, Hitmonchan and Gurdurr because the chip damage wracks up rather fast. (espeed? is that really a relevant move? you also don't mention what uses Vacuum Wave)

**Fast Choice Scarf Users** Because of Floatzel's lackluster bulk it can not stay in because it will get outsped and killed by Choice Scarf Users such as Primeape, Pyroar and Haunter. (all three require prior chip to KO btw)

[OVERVIEW]

Because of Floatzel's great speed stat it is able to outspeed almost the whole unboosted metagame. It's able to pressure many offensive mons such as Pyroar, Golurk, Archeops and Passimian due to its great speed stat and offensive stats. It has access to almost unresisted coverage moves which makes it one of the best offensive Water types in the tier, it also has access to Taunt which lets it annoy bulkier builds. The ability Swift Swim gives it good match up versus things like Kabutops in rain. Floatzel is not bulky which means it dies to priority moves very easy. Despite its very good speed stat it can still get outsped by common Choice Scarf users such as Primeape and Pyroar.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Hydro Pump is Floatzel's main STAB move that hits everything that isn't immune or doesn't resist it relatively hard. Ice Beam hits Grass types as Lilligant, Shiftry and Lurantis which Floatzel otherwise lets in for free. Hidden Power Grass hits Gastrodon which otherwise checks Floatzel, it also chips Lanturn and Poliwrath. Taunt can be used on Floatzel if being walled by Gastrodon isn't a concern. Focus Blast rounds off Floatzel's moveset quite nicely being able to hit things like Ferroseed, Cradily and Abomasnow which it'd otherwise struggle versus. Surf is also an option over Hydro Pump for its superior Accuracy however Hydro Pump is still preffered due to its higher Base Power.

Set Details
========

Max Special Attack investment maximizes Floatzel's cleaning capabilities. 252 Speed evs with a Jolly Timid, not Jolly Nature make Floatzel as fast as possible. Life Orb further enhances Floatzel's damage output to hit even harder possible. Swift Swim gives Floatzel a good match up versus rain, Water Veil can be used if you dont want to be chipped by burn damage. Floatzel's Speed tier lets it outspeed almost the whole unboosted metagame which include fast mons such as Pyroar, Archeops, Lycanroc and Alolan Raichu.

Usage Tips
========

Floatzel should be brought in with doubles or with slow VoltTurn support so it doesn't have to take a hit because it does not want to take a hit due to its lackluster bulk. Floatzel functions as a great late game cleaner due to its great speed tier. Floatzel should be used to revenge kill common meta threats such as Pyroar, Archeops and Magmortar. Whenever Floatzel is up against mons such as Musharna, Sableye and Ferroseed it can use taunt to prevent Musharna from setting up, Sableye from recovering or spreading status and preventing Ferroseed from getting up hazards.

Team Options
========

Magmortar is a great teammate because it really appreciates Fire types being gone while resisting Grass types and breaking through mons like Ferroseed and Poliwrath for Floatzel.(EQ variants of Magmortar weaken Lanturn for Floatzel too, so mention this too). Ferroseed resists both Grass and Electric type attacks for Floatzel while also supporting it with Stealth Rocks and/or Spikes, in return Floatzel pressures Fire types such as Magmortar and Pyroar for Ferroseed. Offensive Grass types such as Abomasnow, Lilligant and Shiftry all appreciate Floatzel's ability to pressure their checks such as Magmortar, Pyroar and Turtonator. Archeops while not having any useful resistances for Floatzel can break through bulkier Grass types like Cradily and Lurantis as well as setting up Stealth Rocks that greatly aid Floatzel in wallbreaking. Floatzel itself really appreciates slow Volt-Turn support to come in without having to take a hit, mons like Mesprit, Lanturn and Togedemaru can fill this role, the latter two also provide an electric immunity. I'd mention Eelektross here too since it can weaken Lanturn with Giga Drain, beat Ferroseed with Flamethrower, etc).

Moves
========

Bulk Up boosts Floatzel's attack and defense stat to even greater levels. Waterfall is Floatzel's best physical STAB move that hits fairy hard when boosted. Low Kick hits most Steel types and cradily that would otherwise wall this set. Aqua Jet is used to clean up late game if your opponent still has a weakened Choice Scarf user or a priority user. Ice Punch can be used if hitting Lilligant without using your z-move is a bigger concern than Choice Scarf users. Ice Punch also lets you hit Gourgeist too.

Set Details
========

Max Attack paired with Max Speed evs and a Jolly Nature maximize Floatzel's capabilities to sweep. Water Veil prevents Floatzel from being burned by the likes of Sableye which would otherwise cripple Floatzel. Fightinium Z in conjunction with Low Kick allows Floatzel to OHKO Ferroseed at +1, it also does good damage to Lanturn.

Usage Tips
========

This Floatzel set should be used as a late game sweeper because it will struggle to get kills without the opposing team being weakened. You should always be wary with using your Z-move as soon as you reveal Bulk Up because your opponent can easily pivot around it. Only bring Floatzel in when it's safe to revenge kill or setup with Bulk Up. Aqua Jet can be used to revenge kill weakened Choice Scarf users, it also gets around Sucker Punch users. Bulk Up allows Floatzel to take more priority moves such as Mach Punch and Sucker Punches. Bluffind your Floatzel set by doubling early game can be really helpful when actually starting to setup.

Team Options
========

Ferroseed is a really good partner because it can spread Leech Seed and setup Spikes and Stealth Rocks which Floatzel really appreciates, Floatzel pressures Magmortar and Pyroar in return. Tangela is an excellent teammate because it is also able to spread Leech Seed which lets Floatzel come in a bit easier and Sleep Powder which can make those mons Floatzel foddeur, in return Floatzel pressures Fire types such as Magmortar and Pyroar. Mons such as Pyroar, Archeops, Magmortar and Abomasnow are all all capable of breaking through Grass types that this set can not break after using its Z-move. Mons that appreciate Ferroseed gone such as Kangaskhan, Stoutland, Abomasnow, Musharna and Carracosta all really appreciate this Floatzel set because it can lure in Ferroseed for these mons. Floatzel really appreciates slow Volt-Turn support because it doesn't have to take a hit after coming in. **Bulky Water types** Bulky Water types, especially specially (This isn't wrong, but it sounds a little funny. Personally I don't believe it warrants a change.) defensive Bulky Water-types that are able to eat even a Hidden Power Grasses from Floatzel such as Qwilfish, Poliwrath, Gastrodon (if lacking Hidden Power Grass) ("able to eat even a Hidden Power Grass" followed by "if lacking Hidden Power Grass" is a little strange; maybe remove Gastrodon.) and Ludicolo. Lanturn is also able take on special sets even if they carry Hidden Power Grass and can retaliate with Volt Switch.

**Electric-types** Faster Electric types such as Electrode, Zebstrika, Choice Scarf Alolan Raichu and Choice Scarf Manectric all outspeed and OHKO Floatzel with their STAB moves, although they must be wary of Aqua Jet when weakened. Eelektross is also a very good switch in., but they all must be wary of Aqua Jet when weakened.

**Specially Bulky Pokemons** Bulky mons Pokemon like Clefairy, Cradily, Ferroseed, Type: Null and Munchlax are all able to eat Floatzel's attacks but they all have to must be wary of the physical set.

**Priority Moves** Floatzel's bulk is very lackluster which makes it very easy to chip by with moves such as Mach Punch and Sucker Punch from users such as Skuntank, Absol, Hitmonchan and Gurdurr because the chip damage wracks up rather fast.

**Faster Pokemons** Because of Floatzel's lackluster bulk it can not stay in because it will get outsped and killed by against Choice Scarf Users such as Primeape, Pyroar and Haunter with very minor chip. (Not sure what this means: do the Choice Scarf users have minor chip, or does Floatzel?)

**Faster Pokemon**: Because of Floatzel's mediocre bulk it can not stay in against Choice Scarf users such as Primeape, Pyroar, and Haunter because they can all KO it with little prior damage.

However, Floatzel is not bulky and will be KOed by priority moves very easily, and, (AC) despite its very good Speed stat, it can still get outsped and revenge killed by common Choice Scarf users such as Primeape and Pyroar.

Moves
========

Set Details
========

252 Special Attack EVs maximize Floatzel's cleaning capabilities. 252 Speed EVs with a Timid nature make Floatzel as fast as possible. Life Orb further enhances Floatzel's damage output to hit even harder. Swift Swim gives Floatzel a good matchup against rain; Water Veil can be used if you don't want Floatzel to be chipped by burn damage. Floatzel's Speed tier lets it outspeed almost the whole unboosted metagame, which includes fast Pokemon such as Pyroar, Archeops, Lycanroc, and Alolan Raichu.

Usage Tips
========

Floatzel should be brought in by switching twice in a row or with slow VoltTurn support so that it doesn't have to take a hit, as it has very lackluster bulk.

========

Magmortar is a great teammate because it can weaken Lanturn while also resisting Grass and breaking through Pokemon like Ferroseed and Poliwrath and it really appreciates the removal of Fire-types . Archeops, while not having any useful resistances for Floatzel, can break through bulkier Grass-types like Cradily and Lurantis as well as set up Stealth Rock, which greatly aids Floatzel in wallbreaking.

[SET]
name: Bulk Up
move 1: Bulk Up

move 4: Aqua Jet / Ice Punch

nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Moves
========

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

========

Ferroseed is a really good partner because it can spread Leech Seed and set up Spikes and Stealth Rock, which Floatzel really appreciates; in return, Floatzel pressures Magmortar and Pyroar. Tangela is an excellent teammate because it is also able to spread Leech Seed, which lets Floatzel come in more easily, and it has access to Sleep Powder, which makes a Pokemon become Floatzel's setup fodder.

Other Options
=============

A set with Choice Specs and Switcheroo can also be used to cripple specially defensive walls. After trading Choice Specs, however, Floatzel is fairly weak. Life Orb specially oriented Floatzel set with Aqua Jet over Hidden Power Grass or Taunt is an option if Choice Scarf Pyroar is a big problem for your team.

===================

**Faster Pokemon**: Because of Floatzel's mediocre bulk it can not stay in against Choice Scarf users such as Primeape, Pyroar, and Haunter because they can all KO it with little prior damage.
