i mean i have beef with the eu in its current form but exiting is the stupidest way to go about it, what motivates you to think exiting is a good move when the results are evidently largely negative?

I don't believe there is a way to reform the EU in its current state and it would be easier to just burn it down and start anew. There are talks about reforming it even from decidedly pro-EU politicians in my country but I'm not holding my breath because we don't really have any say in it lol.

problem is that the anti-eu sentiments largely come from nationalist parties who aren't interested in cooperation at all, so a vote for those parties is a vote for the collapse of any european cooperation. If I could get any certainty on an exit being nothing but a way to start anew, I would be much more positive about it, but as it stands just about any major party that is against the eu (so excluding anti-eu socialists since socialism barely exists on a large scale in mainstream politics atm) is it for the wrong reasons.
