I eventually realized that. i must have had some godly luck the other days. Still, people usually switch out from Gengar, so you still get the speed boost.

So, I've been running an offensive CBtar+Zard-Y squad quite a lot recently, and my fun little addition is Modest Z-Hypnosis Gengar. Basically a Spore which gives +1 Speed, and its worked wonders as a lategame cleaner.
