How does Fling interact with Technical Records? Are effects of status moves triggered? Does Fling with TRs copy move types, damage categories and effects?

I'm not so sure about that, the move description says "The user switches places with a party Pokémon in waiting, if any. If a wild Pokémon uses this move, it flees.", which suggests LGPE change wasn't reverted here.
