Wait! It's a Trap Move!
In theory I like the diversification of the metagame that could result from Maximum Compression, but in practice I feel like that would just lead to the formation of a generically good mon and partially undo the decentralization by making stopping it a major priority. NTS seems like the process wouldn't be much fun, which is kinda sad because I'd be interested to see unexplored abilities get their shot. Investigating trapping moves gives us a shot at exploring an underused element of the games and broadening the range of tactics used in the metagame, both of which are positive outcomes in my view.
