Defog allows Gliscor to remove all entry hazards from the field. Earthquake is Gliscor's main attacking move, which it uses to beat entry hazard setters such as Cobalion, Empoleon, Tentacruel, and Terrakion. Roost keeps Gliscor healthy to clear entry hazards at multiple points in the battle. Toxic allows Gliscor to pressure bulky entry hazard setters like Hippowdon and Swampert. Alternatively, U-turn is a way for Gliscor to gain momentum and bring it's teammates in safely. It's useful against Pokemon such as Serperior. Acrobatics can also be run in the last slot if the team is vulnerable to Heracross. This is especially useful on bulkier team archetypes.

Set Details
========

The given Speed investment allows Gliscor to creep Timid Primarina, and the remaining EVs with a Careful nature maximize its Special Defense while optimizing Poison Heal recovery. The heavy Special Defense investment is good against entry hazard setters like Empoleon and Nihilego. Toxic Orb and Poison Heal are the only item and ability Gliscor should be using, as they provide it with very useful passive recovery. Alternatively, an EV spread of 244 HP / 88 SpD / 176 Spe with a Jolly nature can also be used to outspeed base 85s such as Heracross and Nidoking. This is necessary if Acrobatics is being used.

Usage Tips
========

Gliscor's typing, bulk, and ability allow it to beat a wide variety of entry hazard setters such as Krookodile, Klefki, Nihilego, and Seismitoad, so it can actually directly switch in on any of these and clear the hazards they set up. Toxic can be used to wear down entry hazard setters like Hippowdon and Swampert so Gliscor does not waste Defog PP. There are some entry hazard setters like Mamoswine, Aqua Tail Aerodactyl, and Hidden Power Ice Nihilego, which are capable of beating Gliscor, so one must be cautious when trying to clear hazards in these matchups. Ensure that Toxic Orb is activated before you attempt to utilize Gliscor, as otherwise it loses the ability to beat entry hazards setters it normally would. For example, if Gliscor tries to switch into Seismitoad without being poisoned, it risks the chance of being burned by Scald, which makes it effectively useless. Without the Toxic Orb, its defensive capabilities are also hampered.

Team Options
========

Pokemon such as Mega Aerodactyl and Salazzle that appreciate entry hazards off the field make good use of Gliscor's support. Water-type checks like Amoonguss and Serperior synergize well with Gliscor. Similarly, Pokemon such as Chandelure and Scizor, which can beat Ice-types, are good teammates for Gliscor. This set fits really well onto stall teams because it beats most entry hazard setters. Faster variants of Gliscor are also capable of beating Heracross, one of stall's biggest challenges. As a result, stall team staples like Alomomola and Blissey make for good partners.

In usage tips I'd move the point about using Toxic to wear down hazard setters with the first line of beating said hazard setters since they kinda go hand in hand.

"Ensure that your Toxic Orb is activated before you attempt to utilise Gliscor otherwise it loses the ability to beat entry hazards setters it otherwise would." Elaborate on this. How does not having it activated beforehand make it lose to entry hazard setters outside of like getting knocked off
