It's happening BOIS!
[OVERVIEW]
  • unique set up sweeper with eevium z boosting all of its stats to +2, and with access to stored power it's able to break more offensive teams or weakened teams late-game
  • can be hard for more defensive teams to deal with once it has set up, especially if behind a sub
  • it can only be used once a game
  • requires extreme team support to even function
  • still cannot break specially defensive walls like type: null
  • speed tier is still a tad bit slow at +2, meaning pokemon like choice scarf primeape can outspeed it
  • overall it's extremely unreliable and requires immense team support to even function

[SET]
name: Eevium Z
move 1: Last Resort
move 2: Substitute
move 3: Stored Power
move 4: Hyper Voice
item: Eevium Z
ability: Adaptability
nature: Timid
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
  • last resort lets eevee use its zmove and can occasionally be used to break specially defensive walls, but requires every other move to have been used. its z move boosts all of its stats, apart from hp, by 2 stages
  • substitute lets eevee set up against more passive pokemon like gastrodon and weezing lacking haze, especially when they're at -2.
  • stored power has a base power of 220 when eevee has boosted and deals massive damage to every pokemon in the tier
  • hyper voice is used to hit dark-types

Set Details
========
  • max spa and speed let it sweep, timid lets it outspeed some slower scarfers at +2, such as passimian and mesprit, and things like neutral nature abomasnow before you set up. timid is preferred as last resort is basically never used outside of being the requirement to use its z move.
  • item lets you actually use eevee.
  • adaptability gives you a strong hyper voice and last resort.

Usage Tips
========
  • Eevee is best used late-game after its checks have been weakened and is often best brought in after Memento, provided that there are no Toxic Spikes on the field and your opponent currently has on the field a passive Pokemon that Eevee can set up Substitute against, the planets have aligned, and Jesus once again comes down to Earth to cleanse us of our sins, Amen.

Team Options
========
  • slow voltturn users, like mesprit and lanturn, allow eevee to get in pretty freely. mesprit also provides thunder wave, healing wish, and stealth rock support.
  • memento users like alolan dugtrio and skuntank allow eevee to use a combination of substitute and its z move to sweep. skuntank also removes toxic spikes from your side of the field.
  • fighting-types like gurdurr and primeape can help break through steel-types that are able to wall eevee.
  • qwilfish and ferroseed offer spike support to chip the opposing team throughout the match, making steel-types and specially defensive easier to take down.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Sableye and Spiritomb**: Completely walls Eevee

**Haze users**: haze from things like weezing and altaria reset eevee's stat boosts even through sub

**Fast Pokemon**: primeape is the most notable example, but also togedemaru. primeape can ohko it even when it's at +2 and togedemaru can live a stored power and 2hko it with some prior chip

**Steel-types**: probopass, ferroseed, and bronzor pretty much wall it and can cripple it with status or just attack it
