I'm leaving Smogon. It's been an absolute amazing journey over the years. You guys have been more than just fellow usernames on the Internet. You've become friends and I thank you for spending time with me here and on PS.
I'm leaving for personal reasons. Some of you know why. For the curious majority left in the dark, I have a goal to be a published writer. Right now I'm not working hard or fast enough to reach that goal. As much as I love Smogon and PS, it's time for me to let them both go and move on.
Below is a list of some of the friends I've made on this site since registering seven years ago. I'm sorry (like, really really sorry) if you're not listed here and considered us friends (particularly a bunch of alum'd users and the Monotype community). It's not personal. I'm tired. I've spent the last two hours compiling it but I just can't cover everyone. Also, this is the first time I've done shout outs! Long time coming, eh?
For the OM community wondering about my replacement, I've made arrangements so just be patient while it goes through the proper channels. I'm sure you'll be hearing about it soon enough.

The Immortal Where to fucking begin? Firstly, I couldn't have done it without you. Your expertise on PS was what propelled OMs into the community it is now and you don't get enough credit for that. There are valid reasons why people have struggled to accept you, but a lot of it just comes down to communication. You care sincerely about the things you work on and I wish others could recognize that. I challenge you to be more open with others. Let them see that there's more to you than a bad mistake you made a year ago and work on delivering your opinions so they listen to them rather than your tone. Best of luck with OMs!
