What a beautiful face, I have found in this place
[OVERVIEW]
A Poison typing with the complementing ability Levitate leaves Koffing with useful resistances and only one weakness. Its great Defense stat allows it to be a nuisance to common Fighting-types such as Mienfoo and Timburr, and its wide movepool leaves it with plenty of coverage and support options such as Fire Blast and Will-O-Wisp. However, its shabby offensive stats give it an underwhelming offensive presence, which can allow Pokemon such as Guts Timburr, Pawniard, and Scraggy to set up on it. Additionally, its mediocre HP and bad Special Defense mean it often can't take special hits. It is also fairly reliant on its Eviolite being present to tank a lot of hits.

Moves
========
Will-O-Wisp cripples physical threats, and its damage over time is almost always helpful. Pain Split is Koffing's only way to regain HP; it's not the most reliable method, but its capability to heal Koffing and damage the foe can prove quite useful. Sludge Bomb has good damaging capabilities and a nice 30% chance to inflict poison. Clear Smog is weaker than Sludge Bomb but can be used to prevent Koffing from being set up on; however, keep in mind that it doesn't remove boosts through Substitute. Fire Blast dents Steel-types like Magnemite and Ferroseed, which don't fear Poison-type moves. Toxic Spikes isn't a common move in LC, and Koffing is one of the more reliable Toxic Spikes setters. The move's ability to spread poison on foes upon entry causes it to work very well on defensive or balanced teams.

Set Details
========

Koffing's EVs are focused on defenses to get the maximum bulk possible from Eviolite while maintaining low HP to make Pain Split more impactful. A Bold nature further bolsters Koffing's strong Defense and hits an Eviolite-optimal number. Levitate is Koffing's only ability, effectively leaving it with one weakness.

Usage Tips
========

Due to Koffing's strong Defense and useful resistances, it can switch in on most Bug-, Fighting-, Poison-, and Fairy-types without fear. Examples include Snubbull, Spritzee, Foongus, and Mienfoo. Because of Koffing's low Speed, anticipate when Koffing will hit low HP so it can get the most health out of Pain Split in a single use. Be careful with Will-O-Wisp around Guts users such as Timburr, which gain an Attack boost from being statused. Avoid letting Koffing's Eviolite be removed by Knock Off from Pokemon such as Pawniard and Cottonee unless absolutely necessary, since this takes away a lot of Koffing's bulk. Be careful around special attackers such as Staryu and Magnemite because they can prey on Koffing's weaker Special Defense. Try to lure in Steel-types like Ferroseed and Pawniard to then deliver a nasty blow with Fire Blast. Toxic Spikes can be very useful for gradually wearing down the opponent's team, but make sure there are burns on physically offensive threats before setting it up. Spinners, Defoggers, and grounded Poison-types such as Staryu, Vullaby, and Foongus can easily remove Toxic Spikes, so try to remove them from the game as soon as possible. Pokemon with Mold Breaker such as Drilbur can hit Koffing with Ground-type moves, so be careful of them.

Team Options
========
Dark-types like Pawniard and Alolan Grimer can deal with the Psychic-types directed at Koffing and Pursuit trap them. Ghost-types can also deal with Psychic-types and prevent the opponent from using Rapid Spin to clear Toxic Spikes. Fighting-weak Pokemon like Ferroseed and Pawniard appreciate Koffing's ability to deal with Fighting-types. Spritzee can provide valuable Wish support and appreciates Koffing's ability to handle Poison-types. Gastly can use a strong Hex that takes advantage of Koffing's ability to easily spread status. Diglett can trap Poison-types, which allows Toxic Spikes to stay on the field.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Toxic has perfect accuracy on Koffing, but spreading burn with Will-O-Wisp or poison with Toxic Spikes often proves more effective. Thunderbolt can be used to deal with Flying- and Water-types, but it isn't particularly strong and often won't fit in Koffing's moveset. Destiny Bond is useful for forcing a sweeper out or potentially taking it down with Koffing; unfortunately, Koffing is very slow, so Destiny Bond requires precise prediction. Berry Juice could be used instead of Eviolite; however, it makes Pain Split less reliable and takes away a huge portion of Koffing's bulk. Taunt would be a solid option if Koffing weren't one of the slowest Pokemon in the tier. Still, it can be an option to stop opposing Pokemon from recovering their health or setting entry hazards. Flamethrower has more PP and is more accurate than Fire Blast, but the drop in power is notable. Memento can give a setup sweeper a solid opportunity to boost itself with little risk.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Psychic-types**: Psychic-types can OHKO Koffing with a super effective STAB Psychic. Abra outspeeds Koffing, while Slowpoke takes little damage from any of Koffing's attacks.

**Drilbur**: Drilbur resist's Koffing's Poison-type attacks, can use Rapid Spin to remove Toxic Spikes, and can OHKO Koffing despite Levitate with a STAB super effective Mold Breaker Earthquake.

**Rock-types**: Rock-types resist both Poison- and Fire-type attacks. Onix can use Taunt on Koffing, effectively rendering it useless, but must be wary of switching in on Will-O-Wisp. Omanyte can set up Shell Smash on any set not carrying Thunderbolt.

**Water / Poison types**: Mareanie and Tentacool resist Koffing's common attacks, aren't 2HKOed by Thunderbolt, and can absorb Toxic Spikes.

**Timburr**: Guts Timburr can switch into Will-O-Wisp or Toxic Spikes to receive an Attack boost.

**RestTalk Users**: Common RestTalk users such as Munchlax and Mudbray take little damage from any of Koffing's attacks and don't care about being burned.

Overview
* Give relevant examples of Fighting- and Poison-types that you say Koffing can be a nuisance to. Don't use Timburr as an example, since it can switch into WoW and set up on Koffing afterward.
* 'Koffing's wide movepool leaves it with plenty of coverage and support options.' - give some examples of useful utility and coverage options that Koffing can make use of.
* Say in your sentence about its poor offensive presence that it can often turn into setup bait for mons like Timburr and Pawniard.

Moves
* Give examples of physical threats crippled by Will-O-Wisp.
* It isn't really necessary to mention that Pain Split isn't 'the most reliable'. Just say that the move allows for Koffing to restore health against healthy opponents.
* Clear Smog should be mentioned after Fire Blast, as this reflects the current set.
* Try staying away from saying words like 'your' - it just sounds odd and 'the STAB move of choice/the coverage move of choice' sounds a lot nicer. A little nitpicky but that really bugs me lol.

Set Details
* What is making Pain Split more impactful? Do you mean it restores more health? Find a way of making that clearer.
* Saying that Mold Breaker breaks past Koffing's Levitate is better for Usage Tips, so move it there.

Usage Tips
* Give some more examples of Pokemon Koffing can come in on.
* 'so you can get the maximum out of Pain Split in a single use' - again, this is worded quite poorly and doesn't make total sense. Maximum what? Please make this clearer.
* Give examples of mons with Knock Off that Koffing should fear coming in on.
* Give examples of special attackers that you say Koffing should try avoiding.
* 'Try to lure in Steel-types like Ferroseed to then deliver a nasty blow with Fire Blast.' - give more than one example of Steel-types.
* 'Opposing Rapid Spinners, Defoggers or grounded Poison types can easily remove your Toxic Spikes so try to remove them from the game as soon as possible.' - examples please.

Team Options
* 'Dark-types like Pawniard and Alolan-Grimer can deal with the Psychic-moves directed at Koffing and Pursuit trap them.' - again, this is worded pretty poorly. They can Pursuit trap Psychic-moves? Please fix this, it and a good amount of other sentences have been a little confusing or messy in this analysis :(
* Give more examples of Pokes weak to Fighting
* More examples of Ghost-types.
* 'Removing Poison-types allows Toxic Spikes to stay on the field.' - why is this sentence here? Is it talking about Diglett, or is this a generalization of things that can remove Poison-types? Make this sentence clearer please.
* Say that if Koffing's team is using hazard removal, it should use Rapid Spin. Give examples of spinners, and say that they remove opposing entry hazards without removing Koffing's Toxic Spikes.

Other Options
* 'Toxic has a 100% accuracy on Koffing' - no it doesn't, Toxic has 90% accuracy. Change this.

Checks and Counters
* Timburr's the only relevant Guts user, so just change that to a Timburr section.
* Chinchou isn't a common RestTalk user at all. Replace that example with Munchlax.

Sorry Sam, but this analysis had a lot of sentences that really don't flow well and is pretty messy as a result (you should also know simple things like that Toxic doesn't have perfect accuracy:/ ). With that being said, tag me when all of this is implemented and I'll edit a stamped check in, want to make sure it's decently cleaned up before it goes into GP.

Edit: Looks good, 3/3, don't mind the Toxic mistake I made, wasn't thinking lol.

um hi, i have no experience in LC but this is wrong; Toxic never misses when used by Poison-types (even if the opposing Pokemon is using Fly or Dig), so the writer is correct

[Is Foongus a physical attacker in LC? If not, the example is misplaced here and should be switched to a different Poison-type] Koffing's wide movepool leaves it with plenty of coverage and support options such as Fire Blast and Will-oO-Wisp. This move spreads poison through the enemy team upon entry and can work very well on more defensive or balanced teams. [avoid putting in dex info, but you can also rephrase this sentence as: This move's ability to spread poison on foes upon entry causes it to work very well on more defensive or balanced teams.]

Koffing's EV's are focused on defenses to get the maximum bulk possible from Eviolite while maintaining low HP to make Pain Split more impactful, (AC) as it will deal more damage to the enemy and heal Koffing more. A Bold nature is preferred to further bolsters Koffing's strong physical defense and hits an Eviolite number. Levitate is Koffing's only ability. It makes it so that; it makes Koffing is immune to Ground-type (AH) moves, leaving it with effectively only one real weakness.

Try to lure in Steel-types like Ferroseed and Pawniard to then deliver a nasty blow with Fire Blast. Toxic Spikes can be supervery useful for gradually wearing down the enemy. Just make sure you have burns on the Pokemon you want to have burned before you try to spread your poison. Opposing Rapid S team, but make sure there are burns on physically offensive threats before setting up Toxic Spikes. [does this keep the same meaning you had before? Previous sentence read a little oddly] Opposing spinners, Defoggers or grounded Poison , (AC) and grounded Poison-types such as Staryu, Vullaby, and Foongus can easily remove your Toxic Spikes, (AC) so try to remove them from the game as soon as possible. Mold Breaker can allow Pokemon such as Drilbur able to hit Koffing with Ground-type moves, (AC) so be careful of this.

Dark-types like Pawniard and Alolan-Grimer Grimer (RH) can deal with the Psychic-types directed at Koffing and Pursuit trap them. Toxic has a 100%perfect accuracy [poison-type users of toxic actually bypass the accuracy check, giving it higher than hundred percent accuracy] on Koffing, (AC) but spreading burn with Will-O-Wisp [parallelism] or poisoning with Toxic Spikes often proves more effective. Thunderbolt can be used to deal with Flying- and Water-types, but it isn't too strong and often won't fit in Koffing's moveset. Destiny Bond is useful to force a sweeper out or potentially take it with you. Udown with Koffing; unfortunately, (AC) Koffing is very slow, (AC) so itDestiny Bond [removing ambiguity] requires precise prediction. Berry Juice could be used instead of Eviolite, (RC); however, it makes Pain Split less reliable and takes away a huge portion of Koffing's bulk. Taunt would be a solid option if Koffing wasn'tweren't one of the slowest Pokemon in the tier. Still, it can be an option to stop opposing Pokemon from recovering their health or setting entry hazards. Flamethrower has more PP and is more accurate but weaker compared to Fire Blast. The power boost is very notable on Fire Blast, so often that move will be used over Flamethrower. Memento can be superthan Fire Blast, but the drop in power is notable. [any calcs to note here?] Memento can be very useful to give a setup sweeper that you have in the back a solid opportunity to boost themselves with little risk.

I'm about to head to a movie, but in the overview Poison wasn't capitalized, the foongus comment wasn't addressed, means was not changed to mean, resistances weren't quantified, apostrophes weren't removed in the last sentence, no examples for eviolite required hits were given, spaces weren't added to move 4 on the set

With that many errors in the first section, it's clear you did not implement the check correctly as a whole

ah i looked it over and i know what happened. My internet went out last night and didn't save any of the edits i made to the first 2 sections which i did last night. Sorry, will change that :p
