+ Contrary + Sludge Wave
Drampa @ Choice Specs / Life Orb / Assault Vest
Ability:
Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
-
Sludge Wave
- Fire Blast
- Extrasensory
Ok, I'll admit it... This does seem like an "extreme buff" (Draco Meteor, Contrary), but coupled with Drampa's low 36 Speed and the fact that Fairies are immune to Draco Meteor. Trick Room for Dragon is not an option (Are you going to use *giggle* Exeggutor-Alola?!), but Trick Room for Normal is still totally an option (Audino, Oranguru, the Porygons). This set could encourage the use of Trick Room Normal. I also gave it Sludge Wave for extra coverage, without the large Poison chance of Sludge Bomb.
Lorewise, Contrary would work because according to its Dex entry, it has a compassionate personality, but can completely destroy its surroundings when angered. If that's not "contrary", then I don't know what is!
+ 20 Atk + Seed Bomb
Raichu-Alola @ Life Orb
Stats: 60 /
105 / 50 / 95 / 85 / 110
Ability: Surge Surfer
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Wild Charge
-
Seed Bomb
- Knock Off / Extreme Speed
Whelp... Smub took the obvious choice, so it's time to do something completely different. This Raichu-Alola becomes the other Monotype-Electric physical attacker (along side Golem-Alola and Tapu Koko). Raichu-Alola's notable niche would be that it can hit Water/Ground types with Seed Bomb, has a higher Speed in Surge Surfer, and has access to Fake Out to break Sashes.
Honestly, I don't think Raichu-Alola needs any buffs. If you've ever played Monotype-Electric, you would know Raichu-Alola is a freaking beast already, able to outpseed and KO many threats.
Lorewise, Raichu is a rat. Rats eat seeds. I bet Raichu already has a couple of seeds in its mouth just waiting to be spat out.
+ Arena Trap, + Earthquake, + Ice Fang
Lycanroc @ Life Orb
Ability:
Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge
-
Earthquake
-
Ice Fang
Simple. It's a trapper with EdgeQuake and Ice Fang to hit Grass/Ground. Must I say more?
Lorewise, it should be able to learn Ice Fang, because it's a wolf, which are known for
fanging biting. Also, most Rock types know Earthquake, so it's seems fitting for Lycanroc to have Earthquake too.
