| 61 | Sableye | 3.317% |

| 64 | Genesect | 3.187% |

Kinda surprised at these stats for Smog Doubles. How Charizard is OU is beyond me, and the fact that it's used more than Sableye and Genesect blows my mind. I can't think of much anything Charizard does that Volcarona does in terms of sun sweeping, and even without having to worry about SR I've never been impressed with it. Granted, Sableye is rather frail and can be easily dispatched, but it seems like it would be used on more teams due to its ability to shut down support mons, as opposed to Charizard which requires a certain weather (and, if I will be frank, an ailing one in the current meta) to even be marginally useful.

Genesect, on the other hand, is just all around awesome and should be used more. Seriously, try it out, it really hurts a lot of stuff and isn't that hard to fit in a team. 99 Speed is kinda a letdown but it does outspeed and threaten a lot of stuff, although opposing sun teams are not kind to it. Not enough for this thing to be so low on the usage c'mon man.

Seriously, UU you don't want Dusclops anymore, yet you refuse to give it to us. You people are so confusing.

P.S. We'd also like Zoroark, Houndoom, and Mismagius

damn, although haxorus would definitely be broken and reun might be on the cusp, i was looking forward to uu being thrown into a bit of chaos, least for a little while :(

oh well, the meta's good and balanced right now, but i am yearning to ShAkEiTuP a little bit.

>40% of those Charizard were used same type of people that use Charizard in Ubers, noobs who just want to use their favourite Pokemon. I made this conclusion as >40% of Charizard used had Blaze as their ability of choice.

Also, what is Espeon doing on this list? Magic Mirror is nowhere near as good in doubles as it is in singles, with entry hazards being nowhere near as common. And if I want a speedy hard-hitting Psychic-type, I'd use Alakazam, who isn't even that good.

It makes me exceedingly happy to be able to announce this banlist for "Doubles UU." Seriously, this has been a dream of mine for three years.
:)

Meloetta and Venomoth is way too low on the list. Ironically enough, they complement each other greatly. For anyone playing UU, you should try that combo out!

sand..........................19.18580%
rain..........................18.70639%

This surprised me more than pretty much everything else: Sand has finally overtaken rain in OU.

It's also considering Tyranitar is just a good pokemon on its own, so sand isn't always specific playstyle, rather it's just using Tyranitar itself, yet the sand itself can also be also utilized well.
Yet with Politoed, it's not him, just the weather, which is fairly obvious. :I

Would it be possible to do a kind of ranking for doubles; like, the average number of pokes ko'd by a pokemon each time it is actually used? You could even weight it by the players ranking.
Or would that just be a great big can of worms?

| 1 | Kyogre | 46.771% |
| 2 | Arceus | 35.003% |

Expected

| 3 | Groudon | 27.394% |
| 4 | Mewtwo | 24.745% |
| 5 | Palkia | 23.515% |
| 6 | Darkrai | 22.903% |

Mewtwo knocked out of the top 3, not bad Groodon, and mono-attacking Sub NP Darkrai is going well for me, and i'm guessing a few other people

| 7 | Genesect | 21.457% |

:]

| 8 | Dialga | 20.702% |
| 9 | Ferrothorn | 18.456% |
| 10 | Giratina-Origin | 16.916% |

There is a major problem here, you can look for yourself

| 11 | Rayquaza | 16.822% |

:]

| 12 | Lugia | 16.171% |
| 13 | Forretress | 15.794% |

lol

| 14 | Arceus-Ghost | 15.585% |

The 2nd highest used Arceus for a good reason honestly

| 15 | Ho-Oh | 15.552% |

DW has been kind to you

| 16 | Giratina | 13.034% |
| 17 | Deoxys-Speed | 12.978% |
| 18 | Kyurem-White | 12.380% |

This monster below Giratina and Deo-S... just no

| 19 | Excadrill | 12.091% |

You all dissapoint me, this thing is bad imo

| 20 | Deoxys-Attack | 11.232% |

"I'm faster and stronger then you"
"I have Extremespeed"
"I also have Extremespeed"

Yeah that's pretty much it

| 21 | Zekrom | 10.122% |
| 22 | Blaziken | 8.978% |
| 23 | Shaymin-Sky | 8.620% |

3 great pokemon in ubers, use them more people

| 24 | Latios | 8.148% |
| 25 | Latias | 7.516% |

...uh

| 26 | Tyranitar | 7.307% |
| 27 | Terrakion | 6.702% |
| 28 | Arceus-Steel | 4.765% |

Anyone see a pattern?

| 29 | Reshiram | 4.719% |

Groudon's long lost brother. Groudon uses EQ, Reshiram burns everything alive. He should be used on pretty much every sun team really

| 30 | Kabutops | 4.683% |
| 31 | Manaphy | 4.436% |
| 32 | Thundurus | 4.148% |
| 33 | Tentacruel | 4.069% |
| 34 | Espeon | 3.564% |

How the hell are these things in ubers "OU"

I'm predicting sand in standard OU is just going to keep rising in popularity as more and more ladderers are seeing how ridiculous sheer force landours/keldeo are with tyranitar's pursuit and weather control support.

Also, what is Espeon doing on this list? Magic Mirror is nowhere near as good in doubles as it is in singles, with entry hazards being nowhere near as common. And if I want a speedy hard-hitting Psychic-type, I'd use Alakazam, who isn't even that good.
Yeah I really would not take any of the double stat's that seriously due to fact that a good fifth or so of teams on the doubles ladder seem to just be joke/monotype/noob teams. Pokemon like espeon and charizard making it into the doubles "OU" is a testement to this. Kinda a shame really considering how well balanced and strategic the doubles metagame can be.
Oh and encore Zam is very, very good in doubles, great blend of offence and support. If you wanna be paticulary cute you can even run him in the lead with inner focus and give opposing fake out leads tons of grief. Just wanted to get that little detail off my chest lol.

So I was checking to see if Conkeldurr was nearing UU range yet and I noticed this:
| 41 | Conkeldurr | 5.55342% | 69536 | 5.468% | 55581 | 5.438%
| 42 | Kyurem-Black | 5.35032% | 63400 | 4.986% | 47564 | 4.654%

I'm glad I wasn't sipping any water when I saw that. I can't even begin to understand why this happened. In a metagame that is actively trying to counter Fighting-types as a whole, (see Landorus-T, Jellicent, Gliscor, Latias, Tentacruel, Celebi, etc.) I think it's crazy that Conk is seeing more usage than Kyurem-B.

| 30 | Ambipom | 7.91691% | 19619 | 9.062% | 17374 | 9.740% |
| 31 | Weavile | 7.70455% | 17142 | 7.918% | 13854 | 7.767% |
Failbipom > Weavile? Really? Look at the real usage. This proves noobs are in love with it. Weavile on the other hand is amazing.

| 99 | Electivire | 0.88614% | 24599 | 1.935% | 19735 | 1.931% |
| 108 | Kyurem | 0.74379% | 8260 | 0.650% | 6138 | 0.601% |

*epic facepalm*

| 52 | Tornadus | 3.15885% | 27707 | 2.179% | 21294 | 2.083% |
| 53 | Victini | 2.53245% | 31304 | 2.462% | 25094 | 2.455% |
| 54 | Weavile | 2.41762% | 36018 | 2.833% | 28253 | 2.764% |
| 55 | Kingdra | 2.34909% | 31823 | 2.503% | 24969 | 2.443% |
Hopefully these guys will break into OU.

I am especcialy interested in the NU usage stats. Im really curious how the meta has shifted around the new drops.
