Pet Mod SylveMons (Discussion Phase)

Name: Reverse Core
Existing Item?: N
Effect: Holder's weaknesses and resistances (including immunities) are swapped like in an Inverse Battle. On switchin, displays message "[holder] is cloaked in a mysterious power!"
Removable via Knock Off?: N
Ignored by Klutz?: N
Niche: At the cost of any other item, allows walls and tanks with poor defensive typings to actually function. Especially Ice-types, most especially Avalugg.

more shall come (most likely)
this is a cool idea but there is no real reason why knock off and klutz shouldn't work on it

Name: Razor Leaf
Existing Move?: Yes
Category: Physical
Type: Grass
PP: 20 (32 max)
Effect: Raises attack 1 stage
Base Power: 50
Accuracy: 100
Priority: 0
Misc.: noncontact.
Z-Move: 100
Niche: allows for bulkier grass types to chip down walls without forgoing a stab
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Oranguru, Exeggutor

Name: Cross Chop
Existing Move?: Yes
Category: Physical
Type: Fighting
PP: 10 (16 max)
Effect: 50 percent chance to give focus energy effect
Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100
Priority: 0
Misc.: contact
Z-Move: 140
Niche: gives a solid reliable stab to fighting types that lack drain punch
Potential Pokemon With This Move: fighting types.

Name: Luring Glow
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: While on the field, opposing water types cannot switch out (excluding u-turn, volt switch, etc).
Niche: Gives a means to keep powerful water types from getting out of hand.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Lanturn line

Name: Microphone
Existing Item?: No
Effect: Boosts the power of sound moves by 30 percent
Fling BP: 60 bp
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes
Ignored by Klutz?: No
Niche: Allows pokemon who use primarily sound based moves to be more versatile while still recieving a solid power boost.

Name: Forecast
Existing Ability?: Ye
Effect: If this pokémon is Castform and is holding a Damp/Heat/Icy Rock, it will transform into Rainy/Sunny/Snowy Castform and summon the corresponding weather upon entering the field. These items cannot be removed
Niche: Allows Castform to be a selectable weather setter. With it's stat distribution, this only increases Castform's (not so good) flexibility
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Uh. I dunno, maybe Castform?
Also needs Rock typing in Sandstorm and Flying typing in Mysterious Air Current and Tailwind.

Name: Guard Up
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: Upon switch-in, this Pokemon's Defense or Special Defense goes up by 1 stage depending on the opponent's higher attacking stat (Download clone).
Niche: Allows users of the ability to either wall the opposing Pokemon more easily or set up on them more easily thanks to taking less from their attacks. Kind of works like Intimidate, but it sticks around
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Escavalier, Shelmet, Honedge and Doublade, Chespin line, All "cocoon" Pokemon excluding Whirlipede and Charjabug, Hitmonchan, Burmy and Wormadam, Gardevoir and Gallade

Name: Knight's Blade
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: Boosts the power of sword, cut, slash, and blade moves by 1.5x (List: Psycho Cut, Cut, Slash, Night Slash, Solar Blade, Leaf Blade, X-Scissor, Cross Poison, Air Slash, Air Cutter, Fury Cutter, Sacred Sword, Secret Sword)
Niche: Most of these moves are kinda weak, at least for the Pokemon that use them, so a boost to these moves would be greatly appreciated by Pokemon like Mega Gallade or Absol.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Mega Gallade, Absol, Honedge and Doublade, Farfetch'd, Escavalier, Pawniard line, Kabutops, Oshawott line, Fomantis line
Name: Blue Herb
Existing Item?: No
Effect: When held, if this Pokemon has it's stats lowered, all of it's stat changes will immediately be inverted.
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Fling BP: 10
Niche: A one time Contrary that can benefit Pokemon that like to use moves like Leaf Storm or Draco Meteor or help to counter Sticky Web or Defog. Unburden users, particularly Hawlucha (with Superpower) and regular Sceptile (with Leaf Storm) greatly boost in viability thanks to being able to boost their power and speed at the same time. However, keep in mind that ALL stat changes are inverted as if Topsy-Turvy was used, so don't try setting up with something like Dragon Dance before use. (Also, this item lets Serperior use Calm Mind once, since Contrary makes it drop it's Special stats, but the Blue Herb immediately raises them, which is kinda funny.)

Name: Relic Charm
Existing Item?: No
Effect: If Meloetta holds this item, it will enter the battle in it's Pirouette form and boosts the power of Fighting-type moves by 1.2x. If anything else holds this item, no effect
Removable via Knock Off?: No (Meloetta), Yes (Anything else)
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Fling BP: 40, confuses the opponent
Niche: Allows Meloette-Pirouette to actually be used by itself, and with an amazing Speed Tier, unresisted combination of it's STABs + Knock Off, pivoting ability in U-Turn, priority in Quick Attack, and an overall good movepool, Meloetta-Pirouette can be a great Pokemon in OU.
Name: Darkness Overload
Existing Move?: No
Category: Special
Type: Dark
PP: 8 Max
Effect: 10% chance to flinch the opponent
Base Power: 110
Accuracy: 85%
Priority: 0
Misc.: N/A
Z-Move: 180 BP Black-Hole Eclipse (I think)
Niche: It's a Dark-type Fire Blast. Dark needs more powerful special moves and this is just that. Not much else to say.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Most Ghost and Dark-types, Toxicroak, etc.

Also needs Rock typing in Sandstorm and Flying typing in Mysterious Air Current and Tailwind.
Ok, but should I make it change the primary typing or just change the whole typing (As in, if a dual-typed mon gets it, only the first type changes to match the weather)?

Name: Devour Light
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: This Pokémon is immune to Fairy-Type moves, when hit by by one, raises attack 1 stage.
Niche: Gives Fairy weak mons and other mons a nice niche in Fairy Immunity.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Darkrai, Giratina-Origin, Yveltal, Muk-Alola, Malamar, Hydreigon, Dragalge, Toxicroak.
Necrozma literally devours light so don't forget about it.

the name gives me lowkey anger because fairy =/= light, steel is closer to light

Name: Forest Fire
Existing Move?: No
Category: Special
Type: Fire
PP: 15 (24 max)
Effect: 10% burn chance. When used by grass types, does 50% more damage.
Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100
Priority: 0
Niche: A solid coverage move for grass types, especially Chloro grasses.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Mainly grass types I guess. Probably some non-grassers?

Name: Cold Steel
Existing Move?: No
Category: Phys
Type: Ice
PP: 15 (24 max)
Effect: 10% freeze chance. When used by steel types, does 50% more damage.
Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100
Priority: 0
Niche: A solid coverage move for steel types to make ground types unwilling to switch in.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Mainly steel mons.

Name: Detox
Existing Move?: No
Category: Other
Type: Poison
PP: 10 (16 max)
Effect: Heals 50% of target's max HP. If poison type, turns said poison type into normal for that turn. Also removes poison or toxic when used.
Base Power: -
Accuracy: -
Priority: 0
Niche: Good way to keep bulky poison types and their many resists healthy. For Crobat, it's safer than Roost, for either Muk, it goes great with 105 HP. Weezing has wanted reliable healing for years now. For grass types, it's reliable healing for Venusaur or Amoongus compared to hoping the sun is out, and there will be non-poison types with this too. Gengar can troll an impressive ghost/normal type which is great to scout incoming ghost moves... maybe?
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Mainly poison types but some non-poison types could as well, and they'll likely enjoy the added poison healing aspect.

Name: Spirit Ward (or Disbelief)
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: Halves Fairy and Ghost damage
Niche: Fairy and Ghost moves are pretty common and powerful. To disbelieve their power somewhat, to ward them off. It's a great way to add resistance. Poison or Flying types with this ability have Ghost/Fight resistance! Togekiss resists Fight/Ghost and is immune to dragon/ground! Let that sink in.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Cubone line, Chimeco, Togekiss, Goodra, Drifloom, Samurott, Mega Absol, Muk

Name: Crusader
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: Deals 33% more damage to ghost, fairy, dark and dragon types. Not cumulative for dual types.
Niche: Powerful evil monsters giving you trouble? Smite them hard!
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Probably mons with Justified, but a boost to Keldeo is a bad idea always. The other Musketeers aren't high ranking OU any more. Maybe Gallade? Arcanine? Trying to think it needs mons who don't have Justified. Some less than gallant mons could benefit too that don't have great sets of abilities. Maybe some dark types for irony like Cacturne or Shiftry or Pangoro... ?

Name: Fireplace
Existing Item?: N
Effect: It's Black Sludge for Fire types. Steel types with the item take extra damage.
Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: N
Niche: Sometimes your fire type deserve a more stylish way to heal. The added damage to steel types means doing things like Trick could be quite nasty. Not that steel types want to stay in on Fire types unless they're Heatran, who's fire already. Could be useful on Rotom-H or Chandelure.
Fling Power: 30

Abilities

Name: Pixie Seal
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: Prevents Fairy-type Pokémon from escaping
Niche: This metagame has powerful fairies like Tapus, Clefable or Mega Diancie, a way to trap them and eliminate them could help some Pokemon weak to this type to increase its viability, and help to slighty decrease fairies' presence. It's a type equalizer concept
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: WIP

Name: Corrosion
Existing Ability?: Yes
Effect: Additionaly to normal effect, poison attack can also damage Steel type Pokemon
Niche: Poison type attacks are actually decent in this meta, but the omnipresence of steel type Pokemon make this ability quite hard to use those attacks, that'd help to Pokemon to make them more useful to use their main STAB choice with more freedom
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Grimer, Muk, Salandit, Salazzle, Alolan Grimer, Alolan Muk, Nihilego

Name: Brave Heart
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: If it comes in to the field after an ally has fallen, its more proeficient stat will be increased by one level. It doesn't work in self-inflicted KO by Memento, Self-Destruct, Explosion, Healing Wish or Lunar Dance, nor indirect damage by Toxic, Leech Seed or hazards
Niche: This ability is aimed for possible revenge killers, giving extra power to put pressure to opposing team to try to KO a Pokemon and being possibly exposed to give extra power to a Pokemon and in general make a Pokemon more efficient as a killer.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Staraptor, Gallade, Mega Gallade, Gardevoir, Lucario

May I ask why Moves has "Fling info" in them? Shouldn't that be in Items?

You can only do 2 per category. Not to sound rude.
Actually, (I haven't discussed this with rev yet) but I was think of changing it a little bit, so that you can have 6, but a limit of 3 each. (Also, I broke the limit last slate, with ~8 moves xD)
