rng reporter

RNG Reporter is open source software that helps people abuse the random number generator (RNG) in Pokemon Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. What is RNG Abuse? Well, every time a Pokemon is bred or captured the RNG is used to determine the nature and IVs. By manipulating this it is possible to capture and breed completely flawless (and shiny, if that is your thing) Pokemon.

Before downloading you will need the to install the .NET framework.

Download Version 8.31.

installation

Download the zip file and decompress it, placing all files into a single directory.

Currently the best place to get help and instructions is on the Smogon forums in the DPPt research thread (for Diamond, Platinum, and Pearl) and the Emerald PRNG thread. A Smogon account is required to post on these threads, but it's worth the time.

Very soon there will be a series of articles on site, so look out for that in the upcoming ingame area of the Smogon.
