  1. CAP 18 CAP 18 - Part 12 - Flavor Ability Discussion

Just chipping in - flavor abilities are never useless, they are just not competitive. The only pokemon to have a literally useless (save in very specific cases) ability is Rotom-F. With that in mind, I'd vote for Illuminate considering the natural Vampire Squid bioluminescence.
  2. Pokémon Rotom-H

Guys, here's my Rotom: How It Get Burnt (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers Ability: Levitate EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk Calm Nature - Overheat - Discharge - Protect - Will-O-Wisp This guy is surprisingly good at tanking Mega Khan. What you do is Protect the Fake Out and then burn Kanga when shes...
  3. Pokémon Crawdaunt

Crawdaunt has a thing over Gyarados, though -- it resists everything that Blaziken is weak to, and viceversa. Considering the issues with its speed, it sounds to me like he's a good BP teammate. He also provides decent coverage with Scolipede's weaknesses.
  4. Pokémon Malamar

This hasn't been said before, but if you can predict a Defog, Malamar gets a free Double-team from it. So while not really blocking it, it can set up better as a sweeper after.
  5. CAP 17 CAP 6 - Sprite Submissions

Hi! I know I'm no CAPer but I just wanted to say I like Reptile's and Doug's submissions best because you can feel the steel typing better with the larger decorations. Perhaps it could have some sort of metal straps around its ankles to drive the Steel typing home?
  6. Data Attack Pair Analysis

For the Game of Thrones references, duh!
  7. The CAP Kitchen: Non-Competitive Discussion Goes Here

Hey there, CAP! I've had this cool idea for quite a few days and I just had to share it. Maybe you find it cool. Concept: Take a really bad pairing for competitive use - preferably with a high amount of Weaknesses and a low amount of resistances. Then, make a pokemon with that type -- and then...
  8. Resource ORAS OU Simple Questions, Simple Answers (Read the OP First!)

What would be the WORST type combination (including unreleased combinations) for a bulky or defensive (or sp. defensive) pokemon? Just a hypothetical.
  9. Pokémon Houndoom

Do we know which moves do pokemon learn already? Because if Houndoom learned a Fairy-type attack that would be awesome.
  10. Pokémon Houndoom

    Why not a -Atk nature?
  11. Other Discussion: Which Pokemon will Fairy impact the most?

    1. What kind of Fairy-type moves are going to be seen? Who will be able to learn them? 2. What mons were hard-countered by popular Dragon-mon? Those might be able to shine. 3. Poison is now even better as a defensive typing. Who gets boosted by this? 4. Scrafty more like Shafty (because he...
  12. Galvantula (Analysis)

What would you do versus a ground lead, or more likely, a ground/steel or ground/whatever-resists-bug lead?
  13. RMT-Need help, and help w/ NNs.

What can Swellow do Starraptor can? Might you consider switching them?
  14. Weaknesses of this 3v3 BL-OU team

CONFUSED ON THE TITLE: This is not strictly BL-OU. Crobat @ Leftovers Timid / Inner Focus 160 HP, 132 Attack, 218 Spe ~ Hypnosis ~ Taunt ~ U-turn ~ Air Slash My lead, fast Hypnosis, fast Taunt, kills grass, bugs and earthquake reliant pokemon. It can also leave a pretty bad scar on Dark and...
  15. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 14

Well, for example, I could imagine that a Fire/Fighting pokemon like Blaziken or more importantly Infernape could be terrible for me, but that's just one thing I can think of.
