Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Hi guys. Here is my Bulky Offense based around Mega Mawile. Please let me know what you think, and if what can be improved. I managed to work my way up to 1500 on the ladder, but then I began to drop down from there.
Tapu Bulu @ Leftovers
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 224 HP / 216 SpD /...
Sickist I’ve been testing the team for the last few hours and most of the changes are much better. The only thing I’m struggling with is taking any kind of Specially Bulky Pokemon. Scarf-Lando is my only physical Pokemon and although it packs a punch, I find it’s the only Pokemon on the team...
Hi Sickist. Thanks for the rate. I agree with all the changes you’ve made. I will get a start on play testing with these adjustments and let you know how I get on. Thanks again
Alakazam @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 32 Def / 252 SpA / 208 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Energy Ball
- Shadow Ball
So to start I’ve selected Mega Zam as my late game sweeper. The moveset is pretty basic, although I carry Energy Ball for coverage. The main...
Hey Indigo Plateau. Thanks for the rate. I’m currently running a bulky offence version of the team, which is working out really well. But I like what you’ve done with the team as more of an offensive take, so I will be testing this also. Thanks man
Just a couple of minor changes that might help you out a little.
Potentially you could look at replacing Pain Split on Rotom Wash for Defog. This frees up a move slot for Latios. Although it’s not common at all, I would suggest HP-Fire on Latios to help deal with your M-Scizor weakness.
See...
Thanks again for the help man. I think I will just try to play around it better. The team has been working wonders since your adjustments, and at the moment it’s probably best I don’t change it. I will for now just focus on keeping Gren health and using clef to get up a T-wave. Will definitely...
Twilight I’ve been using this team with your adjustments, and the improvements are great! The only thing I’m struggling with slightly is opposing Celesteela. Any ideas with dealing with this? I’ve been using Kyurem-B’s Subzero Slammer. See below Calc.
Kyurem-Black Subzero Slammer (200 BP) vs...
You’re right, it does have it uses but with this team specifically I felt it didn’t really need it considering heatran isn’t a problem for this team at all due to the ground coverage this team has.
You could try celesteela to take care both both hawlucha and kartana.
Maybe swap out Heatran for it, and put stealth rocks back on Landorus.
Flamethrower covers your Kartana weakness and helps with Mega Scizor. Also Hawlucha can’t do much to it.
Here’s the set:

Hi Professor Tree.
I have a few minor changes that may be of help.
Firstly I don’t think it’s beneficial to run Recover on your Mega Alakazam. It’s so frail that most hits will knock him out, and I don’t think that recover is going to be able to be used all that much. I would personally add...
Thanks everyone for the help, and especially Twilight for the full rate. Really appreciate the help guys. The changes mentioned I will put in and see how I get on. Thanks again :)
Hi xOliver.
Thanks for the rate, appreciate it.
I tested the Choice Band Kyurem set but his speed is too low to benefit from it I find as his defences aren’t the best. Everything else you’ve suggested seems great, thanks for the help!
