Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Sorry for the late reply...
Yeah, looks like the only Pokemon that can breed Defog onto it have to be from Gen 4... welp, I think this team could probably hold its own in the Pokebank meta anyway
I don't think the team needs a dedicated lead. Generally, I try to anti-lead to prevent my...
so i herd u liek hazardz
Diggersby + Mega Manectric +Celebi
Blug. This is a really neat hazardstack+voltturn core I've been using recently. The premise is to lure stuff that Diggersby beats with MMan and Celebi while you Volt Switch/Baton Pass out, force something out, and set up a layer of...
You know that custom abilities are disallowed, right? Ninja'd
Honestly the only way I can envision this working (without Defiant/Competetive/Contrary) is building a CAP with such immense offensive presence that it discourages common defoggers/spinners from switching in even with CAP off the...
Aegislash v0.5?
Name: Decreeper
General Description: Limits the power creep/team matchup issues commonly found in the current OU metagame.
Justification: Lately many OU players have felt that the metagame has become rather stale due to the vast amount of threats in the tier, as it is nearly...
Does anybody know if there are any good offensive Stealth Rock users that can force out Fighting-types?
If not, would something like offensive SR Mew be viable?
Bumpdate!
After thinking about it, I've decided to use BD Azu in place of Keldeo to solve my problem of lacking a wincon and being able to keep Exca and RP Lando-I in check.
I'm surprised that solution didn't come to me sooner.
Looks like a pretty solid team to me, except for one large thing: Virizion is largely outclassed in this meta, especially this sweeping set. Instead of SD Viri, how about using SD Breloom?
I can't post the set at the moment but Breloom has much greater power, strong priority, and an excellent...
I really don't think it's necessary that we beat Chansey with CM. The point is to lure the wrong counter and setup multiple times while the opponent switches to the right one, and having CM firmly beaten by Chansey opens a path for DD to sweep. Plus you have teammates to remove various blobs for...
Kabutops doesn't appreciate having his rain removed at all. Giving Kabu a 1.5 SDef boost is better than letting him stay at +2 speed.
I wish sandstorm increased the SDef of Ground/Steel types :'( mega steelix whyyyyy
On the subject of Keldeo... I dunno, I guess I could put Aqua Jet on it...
Going specifically by typing, what Pokemon will be able to give this CAP trouble?
Bulky waters appear to be the name of this game. I think this fits moreso for the DD set, however; two CM water-types mono-attacking with Scald just seems like a matchup where whoever burns, wins. Aditionally, CM...
Yeah, I'm going to try this out.
So, with the current changes, the team looks like this:
MLop, TTar, Gengar/Lando-I, Infernape, Latias, and Keldeo.
And I think I need to fit a Steel-type somewhere on the team.
Thanks for all the input, guys!
Hmm... this is looking like a solid change, I'll try it out. Thanks!
EDIT: After a battle I discovered that my team was incredibly weak to DD MAltaria. Either I'm going to have to keep Gengar or I'm going to have to implement a Steel-type somewhere on my team...
Unnerve is kinda garbage. Berries are pretty rare and the Pokemon that use them (SD Lum Garchomp and BD Sitrus Azumarill come to mind) beat TTar easily. Plus, the special bulk can be pretty crucial:
252 SpA Life Orb Latios Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Tyranitar in Sand: 185-218 (54.2 - 63.9%)...
I dunno about Bulky Lando... sure he can set rocks and pivot but he can't do it at the same pace that Infernape can. Seeing as this is HO, the speed is much more important than anything else really.
And how, exactly, would a suicide lead help much with steel-types? The point of a suicide lead is...
Hey, guys, thanks for the rates!
And Infernape gets worn down pretty quickly, so...
How would you recommend I deal with the Scizor problem? I'm thinking I might replace Azu with Keldeo, and since I'm kind of lacking a win condition the SubCM set might be worth it...
I'm honestly not worried...
