Set name: bellydrum

Cetoddle @ Eviolite
Ability: Sheer Force
Level: 5
Tera Type: Ice/ghost/water
EVs: 212 Atk / 76 Def / 36 SpD / 172 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Belly Drum
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Icicle crash/ice fang

Cetoddle sees it self being a strong wallbreaker due to a stab priority move with other powerful attacks all boosted by its ability. Belly Drum is used for a higher attack stat and while it does cut away 50% of your hp it also gives you +6 attack, eviolite lets you boost your defence by 1.5 allowing you to tank a hit to set up more easily. You can OHKO a lot of prevelaint pokemons with Ice Shard who would normally be faster or tied with you in speed. Earthquake is used for steel or fire types. You can use ice fang over Icicle crash for more accuracy, but a decrease in power (this only really matters when you have not used bellydrum or for burn). sheer force also allows you to ohko even bulkier mons. When using cetoddle you want to set up on a Mon that does not do enough damage and can't status you as burn will make you lose out on crucial ohko's, paralysis will make you slower than the meta and you have a 33% to do nothing. Of course, sleep makes you not move for a minimal on one turn, which can cause cetoddle to be chipped down. Tera ice lets you do more damage which causes you to ohko hex gastly with Ice Shard. Tera water makes setting up easier against fire types which you can kill with earthquake after setting up. Tera ghost is used to block mienfoo's fake out and high jump kicks among other things like rapid spin and feint whilst having a resist to u turn and first impression. At precisely 14 speed cetoddle is able to outspeed slow mienfoo, utility tinkatink and shellder.

Team options
Cetoddle is an offensive pokemon. Gothita and trapinch are good partners because gothita is able to trap and kill fighting types while trapinch is able to ko steel and fire types. Cetoddle also likes impidimp as screens can help cetoddle set up more easily. Rapid spinners or hazard blockers are also very good as cetoddle loses 25% health due to Stealth Rock.

Other options
oran berry allows you to heal up after a bellydrum, but it also causes you to lose a major part of your bulk which is why it isn't preffered, but if you want to use it use it on a Screens hyper offense Team.

Checks and counters
Fast fighting types
One of the main weaknesses that cetoddle has are fighting types like mienfoo and timburr due to mienfoo's fake outs, high jump kick, and timburr's mach punches.

Fast/bulky fire types
Pokemons like hisuian growlithe are a huge problem for cetoddle as they can immediately put pressure on cetoddle with huge damage. On the other side of the spectrum is fuecoco, who gets 2hko'd with an earthquake, but also can 2hko or roar you.

Longevity
Sadly, one of the biggest downside to cetoddle is that it easily gets worn out over time if the opponent has fast priority or sashed pokemon like glimmet who can kill you after 1 bellydrum outside of screens.

Good afternoon pokédutch,
Unfortunately, threads need approval from staff before being posted here. Cetoddle is not a high priority to receive an analysis right now; it struggles with common Pokemon such as Mienfoo and Hisuian Growlithe and is generally outclassed by Magby as a Belly Drum sweeper. We appreciate your enthusiasm to contribute and encourage you to reserve a set on the next slate!
