Bulky Trick Room Sweeper (Calyrex-Ice) @ Clear Amulet

[SET COMMENTS]
Calyrex-I utilizes its high bulk and Attack, combined with its spread move Glacial Lance, to be a strong bulky attacker. Calyrex-I can spiral out of control quickly thanks to Chilling Neigh Attack boosts, while its access to Trick Room and low Speed stat allow it to operate as both a Trick Room setter and sweeper. Calyrex-I runs High Horsepower for coverage, letting it hit Fire- and Steel-types that resist Glacial Lance, such as Incineroar and Gholdengo. Calyrex-I runs Clear Amulet for an immunity to Intimidate and Incineroar's Parting Shot. Tera Grass will provide it with a Spore immunity and a better matchup into Miraidon. Tera Grass or Tera Water Calyrex-I will give it a stronger matchup into Kyogre rain teams, while Tera Fire will give it an immunity to Will-O-Wisp. Both Tera Water and Tera Fire will improve Calyrex-I's matchup into Gholdengo. The allocated EV spread allows Calyrex-I to survive an Electro Drift from Choice Specs Miraidon, while the allocated Attack allows Calyrex-I to OHKO Rillaboom.

Calyrex-I pairs well with Fake Out users and redirection support, which can allow it to set up Trick Room more easily, such as Incineroar and Amoonguss. Amoonguss is an especially strong partner, as the Grass-types that are immune to Spore are weak to Glacial Lance. Amoonguss can use Spore and Rage Powder against Zamazenta, which can otherwise set up Iron Defense and wall Calyrex-I, and use Spore and offer Pollen Puff recovery against Kyogre, which otherwise has a favourable damage trade against Calyrex-I. Calyrex-I also pairs well with Pelipper, as the rain reduces damage from Fire-type attacks, and it provides Wide Guard support, which can protect it against Calyrex-S's Astral Barrage and Kyogre's Water Spout. Non-Tera Grass variants will struggle against Amoonguss, as it can underspeed Calyrex-I in Trick Room and use Spore, while Tera Grass variants will be vulnerable to Incineroar's Will-O-Wisp.

Calyrex-Ice utilises it's high bulk and high attack, combined with it's strong, spread STAB move Glacial Lance, to be a strong bulky attacker. Calyrex-Ice can spiral out of control quickly since it's attack increases after every KO thanks to Chilling Neigh Attack boosts, while it's access to Trick Room and low speed Speed stat allow it to operate as both a Trick Room setter and sweeper. Calyrex-Ice runs High Horsepower for coverage, which combines with ice Glacial Lance to hit 9 types for super effective, including fire and steel types which resist Glacial Lance, such as Incineroar. Calyrex-Ice runs clear amulet for an immunity to intimidate, and other stat reducing moves such as (not much there apart from pshot that it's afraid of) Incineroar's Parting Shot. Calyrex-Ice either runs tera water for a stronger matchup into Kyogre rain teams, tera fire for an immunity to Will-O-Wisp, or tera grass for a Spore immunity. (Explanation of EV spread, mention the calc with 60spdef)

Calyrex-Ice pairs well with Fake Out Pokemon and redirection support, which can allow it to set up Trick Room easier, such as Incineroar and Amoonguss. It also pairs well with Pelipper as the rain reduces damage from fire types and Wide Guard support can protect it against Calyrex-S' Astral Barrage and Kyogre's Water Spout. Calyrex-I can struggle against bulky water types, such as Kyogre, as non-STAB High Horsepower cannot output damage fast enough. It can also struggle against Amoonguss, as it can under-speed Calyrex-I in trick room and Spore.

(Definitely mention Zamazenta, it clicks Iron Defense and Caly-I is getting a 4HKO if its lucky. Ideally swap checks + partners here. Otherwise you'd be repeating yourself. "helps with x and y", "x and y suck for Calyrex-I".)

have made changes apart from removing the part about hitting 9 types as i think it demonstrates how strong its duel coverage is. Even with electric and rock removed, hitting 7 types for s.e. really shows how it's coverage is great - other restricteds such as Kyogre water/ice hits 6 types, Koraidon's fighting/fire hits 7 types (including rocks), calyrex-s ghost/fairy hits 5 and miraidon dragon/electric hits a pitiful 3.
