Serious How it feels to be a Smogon player

....I really don't get some of the conceptions that exist of Smogon players.
"You guys ban everything!" We only banned one thing to Ubers this year so far, which was Hoopa U if I'm remembering correctly.
"You guys ban what you can't beat!" If it was really like that we wouldn't have a fanbase, nobody would take us seriously.
...and did whoever write that even understand what Tiers exist for??
