Mega Venusaur finds a solid position on Poison teams thanks to its secondary Grass typing solid natural bulk and helpful set of tools. Giga Drain in the STAB of choice threatening Water- and Ground-type threats like Barraskewda, Swampert, and Great Tusk. Hidden Power Fire is used to deal with Steel-type threats attempting to handle Mega Venusaur such as Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor. Leech Seed, Earth Power, and Sludge Bomb all provide valuable utility to Mega Venusaur. Leech Seed provides recovery and force bulky targets such as Blissey out, Earth Power threatens Fire- and Poison-type targets like Heatran and Toxapex, and Sludge Bomb provides a complementary second STAB and handles Fairy-types like Mega Altaria, Ogerpon-W, and Tapu Koko along with being able to spread Poison chipping foes down.. The EV Spread used maximums Mega Venusaur's bulk while still allowing it to outspeed Adamant Azumarill.

Alolan Muk serves as a solid partner for Mega Venusaur being a specially defensive wall capable of threatening Psychic- and Ghost-type threats like Tapu Lele, Galarian Slowking, Blacephalon, and Gholdengo. Galarian Slowking can handle threats such as Volcarona, Zapdos, and Kyurem which easily blast through Mega Venusaur. Crobat provides Defog support granting Mega Venusaur safe entry along with providing a complimentary Ground-type immunity which can provide assistance against Choiced locked threats like Excadrill and Great Tusk. Crobat can also deal with threat such as Mega Gallade and Substitute Hydreigon thanks to Infiltrator Toxic. Toxapex compliments Mega Venusaur as a physically defensive wall capable of taking on threats like Mega Scizor, Galarian Zapdos, and Weavile along with providing Z-Haze for boosted threats like Kommo-O. Offensive threats like Sneasler, Nidoking and Nihilego all appreciate Mega Venusaur being able to take hits from bulky Ground-types like Clodsire, and Hippowdon. In response Sneasler can remove specially defensive threats like Hisuian Goodra and Blissey thanks to its powerful Close Combats, Nidoking can remove threats like Corviknight, Gliscor, and Gholdengo thanks to its diverse offensive movepool, and Nihilego can handle Fire- and Flying-type threats like Volcarona, Mega Charizard Y, and Tornadus-T.

Mega Venusaur finds a solid position on Poison teams thanks to its secondary Grass typing solid natural bulk and helpful set of options (while just options is correct, its a bit vague.Maybe mention "coverage" (since it has HPFire/EP anyway) or just being naturally annoying with leech). Giga Drain in the STAB of choice threatening Water- and Ground-type threats like Barraskewda, Swampert, and Great Tusk. Hidden Power Fire is used to deal with Steel-type threats attempting to handle Mega Venusaur such as Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor (its main target) Corviknight. Leech Seed, Earth Power, and Sludge Bomb all provide valuable utility to Mega Venusaur. Leech Seed provides recovery and force bulky targets such as Blissey out, Earth Power threatens Fire- and Poison-type targets like Heatran, (can mention it deters Ghold. it doesnt do so much, but its enough for ghold to nope out of it) Iron Moth, and Toxapex, and Sludge Bomb provides a complementary second STAB and handles Fairy-types like Mega Altaria, Ogerpon-W, and Tapu Koko (and further chips down oppos because poison op). The EV Spread used maximums Mega Venusaur's bulk while still allowing it to outspeed Adamant Azumarill.

Alolan Muk serves as a solid partner for Mega Venusaur being a specially defensive wall capable of threatening Psychic- and Ghost-type threats like Tapu Lele, Galarian Slowking, Blacephalon, and Gholdengo (also does pursuit trapping, cool for lele and blacey). Galarian Slowking can handle threats such as Volcarona, Zapdos, and Kyurem which easily blast through Mega Venusaur. Crobat provides Defog support granting Mega Venusaur safe entry along with providing a complimentary Ground-type immunity which can provide assistance against Choiced locked threats like Excadrill and Great Tusk (its also fast enough to deal with threats like Mega Gallade proactively, and the infil toxic help lots in pokemon like Sub hydri which uses m.ven as setup food elsewise). Toxapex compliments Mega Venusaur as a physically defensive wall capable of taking on threats like Mega Scizor, Galarian ZapdosZapdos Galar, and Weavile (also has Z-Haze for out of control threats like Z-kommy). Sneasler provides assistance against Specially defensive threats like Hisuian Goodra and Blissey thanks to its powerful Close Combats and appreciates Mega Venusaur being able to take hits from bulky targets like Great Tusk and Clodsire. (maybe generalize sneas to offensive threats like Nido Sneas Moth Nihi instead?)
