Ogerpon-C is a unique sweeper and wallbreaker, with dual Rock-type and Grass-type STABs allowing it to beat common defensive staples such as Hippowdon, Salamence, and Quagsire, with the latter in turn making it an excellent stallbreaker. This combination also allows it to secure 2HKOs on many common Steel-types with a Swords Dance boost, such as Skarmory, Celesteela, and Iron Treads, as well as other neutral targets, such as Mega Venusaur and Mega Latias. Trailblaze allows it to outspeed otherwise faster foes, such as Cinderace and Serperior, while Superpower allows it to secure OHKOs on Bisharp and Magnezone. However, this does mean that it is not able to beat all of its common checks with one set, forcing it to choose which foes it is able to beat. Ogerpon-C is usually found on Offence teams, where it appreciates support from Fire-types, such as Cinderace and Iron Moth, to remove Steel-types that it cannot beat itself. Additionally, Healing Wish support from the likes of Choice Scarf Enamorus can allow it to threaten a sweep multiple times, or replenish its Sturdy Ability. In return, these partners appreciate its ability to threaten key defensive foes, such as Hippowdon, and Celesteela. Offence teams also appreciate its Sturdy Ability, allowing it to function as an emergency check to dangerous sweepers, such as Booster Energy Iron Moth and Ceruledge. Ogerpon-C is vulnerable to opposing physically defensive Fighting-types, such as Iron Hands and Okidogi, which threaten it with super effective moves and resist its Ivy Cudgel. Additionally, sets not running Trailblaze are vulnerable to being revenge killed by faster foes, such as Meowscarada and Choice Scarf Galarian Zapdos. As such, it appreciates being partnered with Fighting-type resistant or immune partners, such as Ceruledge and Mega Latias, as well as speed control options, such as Choice Scarf Enamorus and Sticky Web Ribombee. It also appreciates strong Entry Hazard removal options, such as Iron Treads and Excadrill, to prevent hazards from breaking Sturdy upon it switching in.

Ogerpon Cornerstone Ogerpon-C Ogerpon-C is the correct nomenclature, edit those mentions out if possible before you get this to gp is a unique sweeper and wallbreaker, with dual Rock-type and Grass-type STABs allowing it to beat common defensive staples such as Hippowdon, Salamence, and Clefable. if ur gonna preface with how the stabs help it break common walls, listing Clefable is kinda odd since it takes neutral damage. Id find something else your stabs do 2x/4x vs such as Quagsire. If you do Quagsire, you could also elaborate somewhere in the analysis how this makes it a very good stallbreaker This combination also allows it to secure 2HKOs on many common Steel-types with a Swords Dance boost, such as Skarmory, Celesteela, and Iron Treads, as well as other neutral targets, such as Mega Venusaur and Mega Latias. Knock Off coverage also allows it to beat Aegislash while crippling its few resists by removing key items, such as Bisharp's Eviolite and Buzzwole's Heavy Duty Boots. Alternatively, Trailblaze allows it to outspeed otherwise faster foes, such as Cinderace and Serperior, while Superpower allows it to secure OHKOs on Bisharp and Magnezone. Ogerpon Cornerstone is usually found on Offence teams, where it appreciates support from Fire-types, such as Cinderace and Iron Moth, to remove Steel-types that it cannot beat itself. Should note more specifically that it’s forced to pick and choose which steels to lose to between using Superpower (walled by Aegi) and Knock Off (walled by Bish/Zone), since it can beat steels but it just depends on having the right coverage move Additionally, Healing Wish support from the likes of Choice Scarf Enamorus can allow it to threaten a sweep multiple times, or replenish its Sturdy Ability. could add how Sturdy is good utility for the offensive teams its found on as well, being able to check stuff like Iron Moth and Ceruledge in an emergency In return, these partners appreciate its ability to weaken or remove threaten if your opponent is bringing their Hippowdon/Salamence into Ogerpon-C, odds are theyve lost the game already LOL key defensive foes, such as Hippowdon, Slowking-Galar, and Salamence. Ogerpon Cornerstone is vulnerable to opposing physically defensive Fighting-types, such as Iron Hands and Okidogi, which threaten it with super effective moves and resist its Ivy Cudgel. Additionally, sets not running Trailblaze are vulnerable to being revenge killed by faster foes, such as Choice Scarf Meowscarada and Choice Scarf Zapdos-Galar Galarian Zapdos. As such, it appreciates being partnered with Fighting-type resistant or immune partners, such as Ceruledge and Mega Latias, as well as speed control options, such as Choice Scarf Enamorus and Sticky Web Ribombee. It also appreciates strong Entry Hazard removal options, such as Iron Treads and Excadrill, to prevent it losing its Sturdy Ability upon switching in.
