This article would be the analysis of the recent April stats and the why's and because's of each Pokemon's placement. In other words, I'm doing the "OU of RU." Additionally, there will be a heavy emphasis of how Nidoqueen's rise affected the tier.

- Prior to Nidoqueen's rise, offense was the dominate playstyle
- After she rose, balanced, slower teams have a chance to shine.
- Hazards-usage increased as a whole as now both offensive and defensive teams alike take advantage of them now.
#1 Slowking | (23.842%) | (+1.737)
- Typing is great and the only bad stat is Speed, which is an advantage if using TR
- Regenerator makes it incredibly durable.
- Can switch into Fire-types and Hail teams with ease.
- Versatile can run defensive, offensive, OTR, Choice Specs
