ORAS OU ScepCanion Ou offense

Hello, liam here with a decent team I have used. This is a sceptile+Volcanion team I have used to get to mid 1600s.

Johnny Cash (Volcanion) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 248 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Steam Eruption
- Earth Power
- Flamethrower
- Sludge Wave
The main heavy hitter, Volcanion can deal some damage to the majority of the ou metagame with specs steam eruption+Flamethrower. It is walled however by chansey and bulky water types like Rotom-W and gastrodon.

Top Gek (Sceptile-Mega) @ Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Earthquake
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Mega sceptile is a fast, hard hitting counter to the bulky water types and some dragons. I originally had giga drain over energy ball, but when it was not killing, I decided to put e ball on as it can lower spD and it has a higher bp.

Paper Cut (Skarmory) (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spe

- Taunt
Definitely the most fun member to use, this skarmary is used to check and kill most physical attackers that threaten this team, including mega medicham, weavile, and lopunny. Taunt can also be used against chansey and other skarmarys. I may swap taunt out for defog though, as my team does hate hazards. Also drill peck is used over bb because I can't afford the recoil breaking sturdy.

GrumpyOldMan (Tyranitar) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Superpower
Up next is Tyranitar. This thing is a monster, OHKOing most things that don't resist its moves. With the ability to pursuit trap psychic types and Ohio chansey with superpower, this is a force to be reckoned with.

Dilbert (Excadrill) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Swords Dance

When the sand is up, this thing out speeds almost everyone in the out meta, and with life orb and SD it can sweep entire teams. There is a reason why it was banned in the bw meta.

Dunderus (Thundurus) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Def
- Thunder Wave
- Volt Switch
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
My lead, unless azelf ho, this is a hard hitting scout that can paralyze fast heavy hitters or volt switch to go into a Mon that can take a hit. HP ice and focus blast are there for coverage.
