Sinistcha @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Hospitality
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 76 Def / 180 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rage Powder
- Life Dew
- Matcha Gotcha
- Trick Room
This little teapot is an excellent Trick Room support in DOU! Sinistcha can assist powerful threats such as Galarian Moltres, Iron Hands, and Diancie, as it’s able to restore their health upon switch-in thanks to Hospitality. Life Dew gives its teammates an extra source of recovery, which also keeps Sinistcha healthy along with Sitrus Berry to aid its teammates for more turns. Rage Powder allows Sinistcha to protect its teammates from harm. Tera Fairy is an excellent neutral typing since Sinistcha has a lot of weaknesses to common offensive threats, allowing it to tank incoming Dark-type attacks from Galarian Moltres and Kingambit. Sinistcha sets Trick Room for slow offensive pokemon such as Volcanion and Kingambit and to counteract Tailwind. Sinistcha appreciates offensive partners like Ursaluna, as it takes out threats to Sinistcha such as Gholdengo and Incineroar; in return, Sinistcha sets up Trick Room for it to move first. Its best partner is Galarian Moltres, as it’s a great Dark- and Ghost-resistant Pokemon for Sinistcha and can set up to be a powerful threat under Trick Room; in exchange, Hospitality and Life Dew keep Galarian Moltres healthy and allow extra Berserk activations.
