If I dont do this I'll get slapped by the whole population of #moof so...

Yanmega
Hp: 86 l Atk: 76 l Def: 86 l SpA: 116 l SpD: 56 l Spe: 95

Set style: Singles l Doubles
Evs: 4 Hp / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Item: Life Orb / Focus Sash
Nature: Modest / Timid
Ability: Speed Boost
Moveset:
-Bug Buzz
-Air Slash
-Hp Ground / Hp Ice
-Protect / Detect

  • Yanmega benefits from amazing power and speed thanks to it's high Special Attack stat and Speed Boost nature.
  • Yanmega's STAB moves provides very useful typing coverage resisted by Steel types and certain Electric- types.
  • Hidden Power Ground allows Yanmega to take on certain steel types such as Heatran, Empoleon, Magnezone etc. Hidden Power Ice is a viable option to give Yanmega a standing chance against Garchomp, Dragonite and other dragons.
  • A Timid nature can be used to outpace certain threats such as Scarf Rotom or Gorebyss after a Shell Smash.
  • An EV spread of 114 Hp / 252 SpA / 144 Spe can be used for the Doubles set to outpace Weavile and other pokemon with 125 base speed after one Speed Boost.
Set style: Singles

Evs: 4 Hp / 252 SpA / 252 Speed
Item: Choice Specs / Life Orb
Nature: Modest / Timid
Ability: Tinted Lens
Moveset:
-Bug Buzz
-Air Slash
-Hidden Power Ground / Ice
-U-turn / Giga Drain

  • Tinted Lens Yanmega equipped with Choice Specs becomes insanely powerfully and very difficult to switch into.
  • Bug Buzz and Air Slash are Yanmega's STABs and are capable of 2HKOing anything that resists either because of Tinted Lens.
  • Hidden Power Ground is for Steels and most Rock types, while Hidden Power Ice can be for Zapdos.
  • U-turn is there to scout for Yanmega's initial counter and weaken it a bit.
  • Giga Drain is an option to completely obliterate Gastrodon and Swampert and it provides Yanmega with a psuedo-healing move.
inb4 muffinhead posts a doubles set I probably wont add until a week later

That set works in doubles as well:

Yanmega @ Life Orb
4 hp / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest, Speed Boost
-Bug Buzz
-Air Slash
-HP Ground
-Detect

144 Speed EVs can be used to outpeed weavile after +1. hp ground hits metagross and stuff harder. good partners are fake out users like weavile, letting yanmega grab +1 speed easier.

xD

Giga Drain is a pretty sweet option over HP Ground if you need a mildly unexpected killer of Swampert, Quag, etc.
I think SpecsLens is deserving a slot too, since 2KHOing so many things gives it a deadly reputation in 3 v 3.

Bug Buzz already easily 2HKOes Swampert and Quagsire, and Specs's low Speed means it's difficult to use, although it's certainly usable.

I'd also recommend Hidden Power Ice as well as Hidden Power Ground in the Doubles set, because OHKOing Chomp and other Dragons is always a good thing (although quite a few run Yache so its usefulness is questionable).

I think most of the 4x Ice-weak Pokemon used by players who are very skilled and thus dangerous are going to be wearing Yache. If Bug Buzz with LO can 2HKO Garchomp, I'd probably prefer doing that than HP Ice.
