Well said. There is a tendency for various CAP folk to cry brokenness at any step of the process; however, in this case I think we did a really good job of being realistic and metagame-conscious with every small detail that went into Tomohawk, and the result is as competitively worthwhile as it is balanced. This is probably the biggest win for the CAP process as far as I can tell going into gen. V, and there's no chance it was an easy task to preside over, so excellent job, Reach! And it's cool-looking, too.Originally Posted by Fat Reachzero

I believe that we did a very good job of walking the competitive tightrope with this CAP.
Oh please i'm turning redKudos to everybody who helped in this project.
Guess I'll see some of you on! I'll be on at 8:55 sharp.Alright, everyone. Tentative scheduling for the inaugural battle for Tomohawk is 9PM EDT, Monday 5/2. The playtest will begin immediately thereafter, barring any unforeseen delays!
This is for po, and as such, no sprites are animated yet.Awesome! Just curious: since this is a gen 5 cap, does that mean the sprite will be animated at some point? Or will that just be ignored?
Nah, that's not necessary. It looks good as-is, and a lot of in-game mini-sprites already do exactly what was done here. Don't need it changed any.Attract said:hey RD, the mini sprite of tomohawk looks pretty dark. Like, the outline is all black, it sticks out a lot. Is there a way to fix this? I'll volunteer! C:
We had that as a goal with Syclant. This CAP pokemon is the most believable as a pokemon. I would not be shocked if this was official rather than being fanmade.
I really hope the original designer sends this to Ken Sugimori himself. I would love for this guy to be in an actual game someday.
That and he is pretty awesome competitively.
