Hi, I have a bug to report. My friend plays NDUU using a competitive version of an ingame team of theirs, including a magician delphox with hyper voice and throat spray, and we've noticed inconsistencies of when the delphox steals said item, as it has occured on both the turn of the throat spray being consumed as well as the turn after. Attacthed are replays of magician activating in the turn after and in the same turn respectively. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hello, minor bug report here for Gen 7

I've noticed something odd, Poliwhirl and Politoed seems to be able to use Mind Reader + Fissure for some reason despite being impossible, only Poliwrath should be able to.
**(Also about Horn Drill + Extreme Speed Dragonite being incompatible in gen 2 VC but legal in gen 7)**

My theoretical guess was that since you can't relearn any moves in gen 2, the data of egg moves forgotten and stored when traded into gen 1 to learn Fissure/Horn Drill, then back to gen 2 and transferred to gen 7 would possibly mean that they could relearn the egg move from there

But since I was told by those who had physically playtested (since I do not own a 3ds myself), they said that the egg moves are not able to be relearned and are completely lost, so is this a bug?

visual bug with replays: the "Play" button that used to be in the middle of the battle once a battle has been paused is no longer there. Tried it out on both Chrome and Firefox.
 
The HP Type always defaults back to "(automatic type)" after refreshing the browser or accessing it anew. Even having Hidden Power (this and the HP Type don't have to match, no error is shown) in the moveset ends in a reset.

Seems like a wasted slot to set when it doesn't get saved anyway. Sometimes, it seems to be saved, though. Creating a New Team or Box worked (somehow).

not rlly sure where this would go @~@ but after being able to talk in lobby 4 a while im unable 2 now?
this is my 1st time coming back 2 pkmn showdown since idk how long so nothing rlly shoulda changed from then- but i was able 2 talk in lobby for a good while before it said "acc must be atleast a week old, ladder blablabla" not sure how to see if ive won whatever the ladder junk is but this acc is more than a week old ik that

I don't know how to present this, but some commands are not working properly.
So far, the movesearch (/ms), dexsearch (/ds), and nationaldexsearch (/nds) followed by a parameter (like "/ms bullet") will show nothing. It will show the description of /ms, /ds, and /nds if there are no parameters, but nothing if there are.
I'll see if more commands are like this too.
I also saw others say the same thing, so it's probably not the showdex extension.

Some users also found other commands to be bugged as well. /learn and /nms do not work properly as well.

:furret: This actually happened because the search process was being DoSed. We're looking into preventing this kind of attack.

I believe the Future Sight/Endure interaction is coded wrongly into Showdown. On turn 19 of this game (https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ou-1861220685), my Greninja used Endure, then still fainted to Future Sight coming in on the same turn. I was Tera Watered, so no immunity of course.
Yet, Future Sight's Bulbapedia page ( https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Future_Sight_(move) ) states that "A Pokémon can now endure Future Sight with Endure or Sturdy, in addition to the Focus Sash and Focus Band". What happened here?
 
Found a weird glitch with cud chew, in a draft league game a players berry didn't activate the second time while under toxic, went through and tested a bunch of end of turn effects and its pretty inconsistent, sometimes you do activate cud chew and eat your berry the second time, sometimes you don't, sometimes you eat it a turn later then you should sometimes 3 turns or more later. https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/dl-gen9paldeadexposthomedraft-47973 original replay, have a bunch of replays from testing as well, thanks!

Update: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9natdex6v6doublesdraft-1861479934 here's a replay, I've played around more and found that if the damaging status move is the damage that drops you into range of eating your berry then your cud chew will trigger a turn later, if you drop into the berry range from a sub or your opponent dealing damage to you it triggers like normal. Idk if this is cart accurate, working on testing it now.

Clicking on two replays in quick succession on replay.pokemonshowdown.com behaves strangely. At first, it seems that nothing has happened and that the first one was selected, but you actually enter a weird stat where you're able to click as many replays as you want, though. They won't actually appear on the right side of the screen. I'm pretty sure it's because the one already there is covering it up. Clicking that's already selected and isn't on the right of the screen will make it appear in full screen, but there'll still be a replay covering up. The replay on the left side of the screen for some reason goes away if you enter or exit full screen. The replay on the right of the screen won't actually go away until you reload the page, even if you use the back button.

All I've done here is pressed Ctrl+Shift+I. Clearly the replay that didn't show up was actually just behind the other one.

Exiting Inspect or whatever it's called and clicking on the replay again grants a similar view.

Pressing F11 brings me back here.

Clicking on "newest" brings me here. It appears to be blank but the replay is just covering the screen.

Ladder ELO is not updating scores properly, happens very rarely and usually only around dead hours (11 PM+ GMT-7) and is resolved in morning. During this time, people also sometimes have problems connecting to server/timing out. What happens is someone could potentially lose a game and the ELO in game says it updated (e.g. -27) but it's not reflected on the actual ladder or even on /rank. Here is an example:

The /rank function was used 6 minutes apart, plenty of time to update, but it's not. As you can see, the ELO is reflected differently in game than on rank and on leaderboard, and that's because a previous loss was not counted as if it didn't happen (I don't have the replay for that one unfort).

Here's the replay for that fight specifically from this screen though not sure if needed.

This is probably a bigger issue with ladder tournaments ongoing, so not sure if anyone is aware. For some reason I only see it happen specifically between the hours of 11 PM and 5 AM GMT-7, and not very often just very rarely like 3 times total I've seen it in the past week. Also a few other issues occur during these times that are small, such as inability to even use some /commands sometime (like for example there are times I use /rank and it doesn't do anything, then works again after 10 minutes or so). Again, only at these hours for some reason.

Hello guys, I noticed something odd with the B2W2 VGC (2011, 2012, 2013) teambuilding. While creating a team, all moves seemes to be illegal for every pokemon while choosing them.
They can be selected though and team validation works fine.

Shed Tail doesn't show up in the tooltip.

Secco used Shed tail turn 3, switched back in after its partner was knocked out, and the moves its used don't reveal Shed Tail. (I was an observer here.)

This actually seems to be a bug where if a Pokémon faints before the other Pokémon switches and the Pokémon that switches switches back in, it'll be shuffled into the last slot and the tooltips won't remember its moves.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9doublesou-1864132766 If Dragapult switches before Chi-Yu faints, this bug won't occur.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9doublesou-1864136507 It'll only work if the mon switching in is the same one that pivoted out.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9doublesou-1864133899 This can be done with regular switching if you have a way to KO the first Pokémon before the second switches out.

National Dex + Convergence Legality does not work as intended. All Gen9 new pokemon with eventOnly: true set in their data/rulesets.ts seem to be unable to converge into other pokemon (unsure if only into that also have event) which makes sets such as https://pokepast.es/bbf47ee11004299a illegal in the validator, (even though gen9 only moves such as
https://pokepast.es/dc2ad5628ad970f5 are legal) as seen on the screenshot, also as seen on the screenshot Iron Treads who does not have the eventOnly flag sets is completely legal even when converging earthquake from ex. dugtrio-alola and itself
a bandaid solution that seemed to work was a nuclear removal of eventOnly from all gen9 mons, right now it shouldn't cause any issues but if we get a eventonly combination such as Shiny + ESpeed genesect we'd require a different solution
