256 is a good start, 512 is better if you want to breed a lot of pokes though.

NP. Don't forget the Timburr requires a Gen 4 Hitmonchan w/ the egg moves.
How about something a little easier then that I know can be bred, and might be viable to other people?

or...
2) Mach Punch + Drain Punch, Careful Timburr w/ Guts
I checked. It can't pass G-Drain. It has to be captured, not bred. >_<
DW + 4th Gen Tentacool/cruel will be required, unless you can abuse the DW one straight out of the Entree Forest. Giga Drain + Rain Dish is the key for what I am looking for.
I think Giga Drain can be passed as an egg move from a Gen 4 male, but I will need to double check that.

Sure. It's not hard, you just have to start the timer after soft resetting and press A after the senile old man says "Take care of it".
I don't have a DS Lite, I use a DS Phat. The GBA I have is the old model, so it'd be hard to press A, B, Select and Start to reset if I were to RNG there.
It's basically the same way, except you don't have the liberty of using save states to make it easier.

So far I've failed to get two people to RNG on the real cart, lol.
Using the retail cart to breed flawless stuff feels better, though. It's not that bad to breed there, it just takes a lot of tries.
Catches are possible but very unlikely. You can, however, breed flawless pokémon on a retail cart. -
