  • Ah, that would explain the strange breeding results I was getting. Thanks anyway.
Hey, I was just wondering how difficult it would be to add an optional third stage to EonTimer's Gen V tab, for potential PID abuse with the C-Gear.
That was mean, Toast! You changed PIDRNG. :[ Now I have this modest Cursed Body Frillish when I wanted bold. :[
Hi! I just tried to DL both versions of Eontimer and the files are messed up. The file size comes up as 0KB and it generates a "not valid win32 application error." Bond697 tried as well and got the same results as me. Just thought you should know.
For the record, DW calc is made if you're not using Ditto regardless of whether or not the parents actually have the ability. Just did several tests.
Hey Toast. I found a bug on the "Suggested Second" on EonTimerx64 (1.1 and 1.2).

Try it: when I do input Calibration = -121 and Target Delay = 3500, if I try to use "Suggested Second" for C-Gear, the program sets my Target Seconds to 75.

You should make it only search for seconds between 0 and 59, when you're calculating the seconds that would give you less wait time.

Just a tip anyway, I love your two-steps timer anyway. Specially the "Pop" sound.
I have a question. After you press "yes" on the AR codes screen when the first timer hits 0, do you try and get into the game world as fast as possible?
The old one still works most of the time; just caught a flawless Cobalion (with a useless nature, of course -.-) using it. But thanks, I'll try it out.
I've downloaded it. I'll let you know. I did see others on the #smogonwifi mentioning freezing of some kind. I think the image issue again. I can't remember who.

Edit: Might not get to test the program until Sunday.
Well, it works pretty nicely, then! Though, I do like the convenience of a website based counter like emloop; would it be possible for smogon to host Eon Timer online, or must it be downloaded to use?
Hm, interesting. In the sound modes, it now uses an acceptable amount of the CPU during the first countdown (about 10-20%), then jumps to as much as it can grab again for the second countdown. In visual mode, it uses the maximum CPU for both countdowns.

The programme itself doesn't suffer any slowdown or anything; it just makes the rest of my computer slow. Though, I do have a pretty old computer, so it's probably not too surprising...
Meh, I really don't understand this :P It's so weird, now searching within -7401/+9999, and now I'm just 7 delays too high, on the right second..
Well, every day I tried again, I picked the time that matched the day. So for today, I got the time on 2011 03 18. In the 'Seed to Time' section, I put a check in that Seconds section at the top, left of the box where you have to put the MAC Address. For every try, I kept the second at 0. Only thing that changed, were the minutes. So I guess that's the problem. :) I'll give it a new try, and then I'll be looking for delays in a range of +/- 999, and a second range of 0.
Yo dude, can you help me fixing your timer? I got a calibration of -49, and with that, I got my delay twice, but a wrong nature.
Now, it seems I have to recalibrate, since I'm hitting -30 now. So my calibrations goes to -79 :') And then, if I'm adjusting the calibration, I see I've hit a delay that is 1 second too early? How do I fix this? I'm struggling for almost 6 days with that Cobalion now xD
I just succeeded a bit on my calibration.
I've been hitting my seeds, although they were in wrong natures...
(Although I still lack an Adamant/Jolly syncher for the Musketeer Trios)
But at least I've been hitting the delay... :)
That's OK. I can still decipher some typo errors :p

How about RNGing the roaming genies? Are they hard? Is it because of the weather?
EDIT: Do I also have to put my Mac address in?
Only the last half? Or all of them?
    I'm using RNG Reporter 9 Beta 1
I'm sorry if I still have to ask this a thousand times.
But it seems that this calibration thing still confuses me.
Even if I use Metalkid's IV calc, I always get that "No IVs match" message from RNG Reporter.
I also don't know what does -95 mean from your timer.
If you don't mind, can you tutor me how to calibrate easily?
Sorry, I think I didn't explain well enough. I got tired of using a timer, and I found that my "A-mash delay" was 1296. If I want to hit a target time with that delay, is it when I say Yes at the Continue screen, after, or at the loading/SR?
Well, functionally it's fine, but it's kind of an annoying problem to have on an 18 000kr laptop. That's about 2500 dollars if I'm not mistaken. I was also an early adopter of Sandy Bridge processors so I've got one of the mobos Intel screwed up on and had to mass-recall in it. >_>
