Hi Finchinator, just wanted to make you aware that a friend and I did some math on Sucker Punch that I thought might interest you--we found that in a 1v1 situation where both mons can KO, the Sucker Punch user will win 89% of the time if they use the optimal strategy, with no possible counterplay. Man I wish I had a deeper knowledge of the current OU meta because I see they're arguing the kokoloko method and as one of the OGs I kinda want to comment to clear some misconceptions but I dunno if it'd add much to the discussion :\
Is there any consideration for re-suspecting Tera, or creating a separate non Tera OU ladder (Like what scald). I personally very much don’t enjoy Tera, and would like to have the opportunity to play without it outside limited games.
What set makes kyruem potentially up for discussion? Could it be specs or dragon dance with aurora veil?
What would be your opinion on Lugia being in OU? Since Generation 8, it lost Toxic and Defog which means it can't do much as a support pokemon. It has Calm Mind and Recover so you could in theory attempt to sweep, but Ghold and Kingambit have such a good matchup into Lugia, as well as Unaware Clefable being easily able to take hits from Lugia. However, it does get Earth Power so I'm unsure. -
