name: Bad Bunny (Huge Power Wallbreaker)
move 1: Liquidation
move 2: Aqua Jet
move 3: Play Rough
move 4: Superpower / Bounce
item: Choice Band / Assault Vest / Life Orb
ability: Huge Power
nature: Adamant
evs: 156 HP / 4 Def / 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 92 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

* Azumarill is a premier wallbreaker in Battle Stadium, with useful dual STAB coverage and a great priority move to beat much of the metagame that doesn't resist its attacks.

* Liquidation is used over Waterfall due to its slightly higher Base Power, as well as its chance to drop Defense, helping break even the sturdiest physical walls. If you're using Azumarill for Dynamax, it will easily beat out Gigantamax Cinderace.

* Aqua Jet allows Azumarill to revenge kill a large number of weakened foes, and patches up its lackluster speed. Notably, it has a reasonable chance to OHKO Fire-type Cinderace if using Choice Band.

* Play Rough is used against Pokemon that resist Liquidation, OHKOing Dragapult, Dracozolt, and Hydreigon.

* Superpower gives Azumarill a way to beat Ferrothorn, and can provide Max Knuckle boosts during Dynamax.

* Bounce is used with Life Orb to help Azumarill become a surprise sweeper.

* Choice Band is most often selected to maximize damage output, especially since Azumarill is unlikely to stay in against foes like bulky Grass-types, and will likely switch out if they are switched in.

* Assault Vest helps Azumarill beat special attackers, such as Lapras, Primarina, Rotom formes, and Togekiss.

* Life Orb boosts damage output while maintaining move flexibility. It also allows Azumarill to become a potent Dynamax sweeper.

* Sitrus Berry with Belly Drum is an option for Azumarill. However, the multitude of Pokemon that resist Aqua Jet, high usage of Rillaboom with Grassy Glide, and Dynamaxed foes' ability to often survive +6 hits makes it difficult for Azumarill to sweep with Aqua Jet.

EV Spreads
============

* 156 HP / 4 Def / 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 92 Spe with an Adamant nature: This EV spread gives Azumarill decent bulk while outspeeding uninvested base 60s.

* 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def with an Adamant nature: This EV spread maximizes HP while forgoing Speed to help Azumarill survive more attacks.

* 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def with a Brave nature: Azumarill is slow enough to be run in Trick Room, similarly to Choice Band Dracovish, while being able to effectively hit Water Absorb users with Play Rough.

Team Options
=============

Azumarill works well with Fire-types, which are effective in beating Rillaboom, its main check. Fast Dragon-types are also useful to beat Dracozolt, which otherwise gives Azumarill trouble, and Dragon-types also share strong type synergy. Finally, Azumarill needs checks to Toxapex and Amoonguss in order to thrive, which it cannot break, such as Psychic-types, Substitute users, and Taunt users.

* Fire-type Teammates: :cinderace: :volcarona: :incineroar: :charizard-gmax:

* Fast Dragon-types: :dragapult: :hydreigon: (choice scarf) :dracozolt: (choice scarf)

* Amoonguss/Toxapex Checks: :corviknight::hydreigon::alakazam: :hatterene: :rotom-heat: :indeedee: :mamoswine:

Overall this looks pretty good. Azu isn't the most complicated Pokemon in the world, and while for some reason BD still gets good usage on the cart ladder, it should die down a bit once the meta settles I think.

A few things to add on or otherwise note: first, note that CB hits really hard, to the point that it can OHKO no bulk Rillaboom with Play Rough around 30% of the time, and takes a chunk out of most switch-ins that aren't super defensive regardless. Band also guarantees the KO on no bulk Cinderace with Aqua Jet (assuming it is still Fire type or otherwise weak to water), which is obviously relevant in this meta and can either force an early dynamax from the other rabbit or potentially finish a late-game sweep if Ace has to come back in on it late.

With regard to the meta: it's worth noting that bulkier Azu do a good job of checking most Cinderace, which is obviously a huge boon in this meta, but the downside is that to actually 1v1 you have to match the dynamax timing, which is obviously a huge pain. Regardless, boosted Jet does so much to Cinderace in its native typing that even when mistimed it can help you trade off the opposing Ace, hopefully while keeping your own dynamax in reserve. Azu's STABs also combine to put a dent in almost anything in the top 20 right now outside of Toxapex, so while CB Azu takes some prediction to get the most out of, it does have good reward against most more offensive teams if it gets in a free hit. Obviously Life Orb eases prediction significantly but hurts both survivability and power a bit.

As to the explanation of why BD is subpar, I think you should add that Azu doesn't really set up against any of the top 20 mons, as most of them can 2HKO it if they see it coming, and stuff like HIppo can just Yawn or Whirlwind to deny it instead. Rillaboom's off the chart usage and the meta effectiveness of Electrics like Magnezone and Dracozolt right now also further compromise any Azu having to wait a turn to dish out damage.

Lastly, while Azu does indeed need help getting past Toxapex and Amoonguss, the latter is outside of top 70 in usage right now, while Rillaboom and Dracozolt are both top 15 right now, easily dispatch Azu if they get in safely, and are both quite threatening to sweep whole teams in the right circumstances, so I think you should mention needing a plan against those two in particular if they get in on Azu to avoid being swept. You can also add that most any decently bulky Sub user makes life miserable for both Toxapex and Amoonguss, so if they get in without eating status they can often turn the tables on such defensive cores.

Otherwise this looks good. After implementing the above consider this QC 1/2.

Let's get that second check now too.

I think greil pretty much covered the bulk of it, only thing I'll note is Alakazam and Mamoswine usage being fairly low at the moment so hard to say if they're worth listing as primary Amoonguss/Toxapex checks for Azumarill. I'll leave those ones up to you though, still early meta so hard to be too concrete with that argument.

QC 2/2
