If you've never joined a tournament before no worries, it's easy! When you get paired with your opponent simply contact them on their VM wall and set up a time to play, and then meet on PokemonShowdown! for your match. In fact, there's a Battle Spot Room on the PS main server with a great community where it could be really easy to meet up with your opponent.
