Munkidori (M) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Toxic Chain
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Future Sight / Psychic
- Sludge Wave
- U-turn
- Focus Blast

Munkidori is a good pivot thanks to its ability to force out common walls like Tapu Fini and Clefable with its STAB combo and unique ability in Toxic Chain. Future Sight allows Munkidori to threaten Pokemon such as Iron Hands and Buzzwole, and in conjunction with U-turn, can even play safely around resists like Skarmory and Slowbro. Psychic is an alternative to instantly threaten Mega Venusaur and Toxapex. Focus Blast nails Dark- and Steel-types like Mega Tyranitar, Ting-Lu, Excadrill, and Bisharp. Heavy-Duty Boots is advised due to this sets purpose of repeated pivoting. Although Munkidori has a decent speed tier, it is vulnerable against faster threats like Zeraora, Latios, and Iron Moth, so defensive Pokemon like Tangrowth, Ting-Lu, and Tapu Fini are appreciated. It also cannot hit metagame staples like Aegislash or Mega Sableye for meaningful damage, so Pokemon that can, like Iron Moth, and Enamrous are recommended. Other pivots, like Scizor will be beneficial, since they can create a VoltTurn core with Munkidori. Aegislash and Celesteela are some of Munkidori's biggest obstacles, so Pokemon that can threaten via Pursuit and Knock Off, like Mega Tyranitar and Bisharp, are appreciated. Pokemon that appreciate Munkidori's Future Sight support, like Galarian Zapdos and Keldeo, also form a VoltTurn core with Munkidori, making them good partners. Sadly, Munkidori is slightly outclassed by Iron Moth as a Poison-type pivot.

Timid Nature
- Future Sight / Psychic To immediately threaten psychic weaks like MVenu/Iron Hands/Keld/Pex. Mention that this removes Munki's ability to function as a Future Sight pivot which is its main role
- Sludge Wave
- U-turn
- Focus Blast

Munkidori is a good pivot thanks to its ability to force out common walls like Tapu Fini, Toxapex It can't threaten Pex unless it runs non-Fsight stab, so remove pex/mention that, and Clefable with its STAB combo and unique ability in Toxic Chain. Future Sight allows Munkidori to hit Pokemon such as Iron Hands and Buzzwole, and in conjunction with U-turn, can even play safely around resists like Skarmory and Slowbro Fsight doesn't actually hit these, better to say "threaten these". Focus Blast nails Dark- and Steel-types like Mega Tyranitar, Ting-Lu, Excadrill, and Bisharp. Heavy-Duty Boots is advised due to this sets purpose of repeated pivoting. Although Munkidori has a good It's speed tier is actually pretty bad for an offensive mon, getting outsped by all the 350s and even the Mons right under that speed tier, it is vulnerable against faster threats like Zeraora, Blacephalon Blace is not great, would put Latios here instead, and Iron Moth, so defensive Pokemon like Tangrowth, Blissey Blissey doesn't fit on the types of teams that want Munki, Ting-Lu fits better here, and Tapu Fini are appreciated. It also cannot hit metagame staples like Aegislash or Mega Sableye for meaningful damage, so Pokemon that can, like Cinderace, Iron Moth, and Enamrous are recommended. Other pivots, like Blissey, Iron Treads As mentioned previously Blissey doesn't make sense, and Treads is not in the UU tier, and Scizor will be beneficial, since they can create a VoltTurn core with Munkidori.

This analysis is missing a lot of information. Your mentions of Blissey/Iron Treads/Blacephalon shows a lack on knowledge about the metagame. When reimplementing, make sure to mention Scizor and Celesteela as other defensive problems for Munkidori, and mention Bisharp/Mega Tyranitar as partners that can come in against Aegislash or Celesteela to Pursuit Trap it or pressure with Knock Off.

No mention of Future Sight support and the mons that appreciate it like Galarian Zapdos or Cinderace. Munkidori is not great due to its lacking bulk, awkward speed tier, and bad coverage, as well as having to rely on Fblast to avoid the Pursuit trap from MTar. I would bring these up in the analysis, as well as the fact that it competes with Iron Moth as a Fast Poison-type pivot.

This analysis shows a lack of metagame knowledge. I would try and learn the meta more so you can understand what options are actually viable. After implementing I will come recheck to make sure everything is good, after that you'll be 1/1.

Hi LOrd Fernado , we've decided to reject this upon further consideration by the QC team. This analysis seems to miss out on crucial aspects of Munkidori's kit, additionally not citing exactly relevant teammates even after the implementation. In the future, please only reserve sets you are intimately familiar & experienced with.
