Charizard-Mega-Y @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Drought
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Roost
- Solar Beam
- Fire Blast
- Defog

Mega Charizard-Y is a potent special attacker as it is able to 2HKO every member on this team with either sun boosted Fire Blast or Solar Beam, making it nearly impossible to switch into. Furthermore, it outspeeds the entirety of the team, aside from Tornadus-Therian, allowing it to finish off any foe that tries to switch in. As for Torn-T, its moveset is compromised, as Knock Off, U-Turn, and Superpower all do minimal damage to Zard, whereas Hurricane has a 50% chance to hit in sun, making it unreliable.

Calcs:
252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 244+ SpD Zapdos in Sun: 244-288 (63.7 - 75.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Togekiss in Sun: 205-243 (54.9 - 65.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Fire Blast vs. 244 HP / 200+ SpD Gliscor in Sun: 286-337 (81.2 - 95.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal
252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Fire Blast vs. 96 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Tornadus-T in Sun: 229-270 (70.8 - 83.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Skarmory in Sun: 840-990 (252.2 - 297.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Solar Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Gyarados: 242-286 (73.1 - 86.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Rotom-Heat @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Volt Switch
- Pain Split
- Discharge

Contrary to what might seem obvious, I opted for a defensive Rotom-Heat as opposed to a possible scarfer. This is mainly because of Mega Gyarados, which can break Zard-Y (and possibly the whole Fire team) if it Dragon Dances up. To prevent this, I chose this set, which Gyarados does limited damage to, allowing me to cripple it and continue demolishing with Charizard. Will-O-Wisp helps cripple Gyarados temporarily if it tries to set up (assuming Togekiss isn't dead), Volt Switch is for momentum back into Charizard, Discharge is the paralysis version of Scald, and Pain Split is a semi-reliable recovery. I chose Helmet over leftovers because it gurantees that Solar Beam will kill Gyara after one hit. Furthermore, I selected Rotom-Heat because it also is able to sponge Thunder Waves, which would cripple Charizard.

252+ Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Rotom-H in Sun: 110-132 (36.1 - 43.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252+ Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Crunch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Rotom-H: 112-133 (36.8 - 43.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252+ Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Rotom-H: 224-266 (73.6 - 87.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 252+ Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Crunch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Rotom-H: 169-199 (55.5 - 65.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 252+ Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Rotom-H in Sun: 168-198 (55.2 - 65.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Rocks are always an issue, but Defog on Charizard helps alleviate that slightly. Another problem is the 50/50 with taunt on Rotom-H with Gyarados (assuming they know you are this set). However, this is solved by Rocky Helmet. Assuming they get the taunt off on a will-o, Discharge is a guarenteed 3HKO (guaranteed 2HKO after Rocky Helmet), plus it has a 30% chance to paralyze. If they DD on the will-o, then there is no problem, as Volt Switch is safe the following turn. However, the best scenario would probably be a Volt Switch on a Taunt, as the damage dealt would allow Solar Beam to kill, and from there Charizard can continue to wreak havoc.

4 SpA Rotom-H Discharge vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Gyarados: 144-170 (43.5 - 51.3%) -- 6.3% chance to 2HKO

Maybe this is a bit cheaty since it's my team, but oh well!

Ground Core

Mamoswine @ Choice Band
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Spear
- Earthquake
- Superpower
- Ice Shard

Banded Mamoswine outspeeds everything bar Tornadus and is able to threaten everything with Icicle Spear. The reason it was chosen over Icicle Crash is because you have a higher chance of beating Skarmory 1v1 because you can't miss, and you're able to 2HKO it if you hit 5 times (This is a defensive team so you're clicking Roost a lot). Earthquake and Superpower is there to outspeed and hit Gyarados if it has already megaed. Ice Shard cleans late game once Skarm + Gyarados are gone, and Torandus is weakened.

Calcs:

252 Atk Choice Band Mamoswine Superpower vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Gyarados: 362-428 (109.3 - 129.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Mamoswine Icicle Spear (5 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 180-215 (53.8 - 64.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Mamoswine Icicle Spear (3 hits) vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Zapdos: 432-510 (112.7 - 133.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Mamoswine Icicle Spear (3 hits) vs. 96 HP / 0 Def Tornadus-T: 450-528 (139.3 - 163.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Mamoswine Ice Shard vs. 96 HP / 0 Def Tornadus-T: 236-282 (73 - 87.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Mamoswine Icicle Spear (3 hits) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Togekiss: 384-456 (102.6 - 121.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Clear Smog
- Earthquake

Gastro's job is to take hits from stuff like Gliscor & Torandus and spread burns with Scald. Clear Smog is there to strip Gyara of its boosts, and prevent it from sweeping your team. Earthquake is a solid way of doing damage and break subs.

Calcs:

160 SpA Tornadus-T Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Gastrodon: 175-207 (41 - 48.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 Atk Gliscor Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Gastrodon: 94-112 (22 - 26.2%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Gastrodon Scald vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Gliscor: 204-242 (57.6 - 68.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal
252+ Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Gastrodon: 150-177 (35.2 - 41.5%) -- 77.1% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252+ Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Gastrodon: 225-265 (52.8 - 62.2%) -- 99.6% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Week 4: Dece1t's Mega Swampert Ground

This team was one that very recently peaked the ladder, so I figured it was a good call for this project as high peak RMTs often get spammed on ladders. The best description can be found here.

Types eligible: Any but Bug, Grass, Ice, and Water!

Reserving Keldeo + Breloom

Keldeo @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Hydro Pump
- Icy Wind

Breloom @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Spore
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Swords Dance

Alright since this team doesn't have a Water Absorb user, Keldeo can pretty much outspeed and break it on its own, although Swampert may be a bit of an issue with the Mirror Coat. In addition, Breloom can break this team as well through Bullet Seed, check Excadrill with Mach Punch, and after a Swords Dance it can clean pretty easily. They both work pretty well together as well.

Here is a little tougher challenge, since fairy is already at a disadvantage, but why not.
Anyways, i think that Belly Drum Azumarill behind screen support as well as the cancer known as sub leech memento whimsicott would work really well.

Klefki @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Foul Play / Spikes
- Thunder Wave

Whimsicott @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Encore / Giga Drain
- Memento

Azumarill @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Aqua Jet
- Knock Off
- Play Rough

Well the setup is pretty simple, you set up screens, and then you go to whimsicott, setup a leech seed and basically memento your way tf outta there, and you sweep with the belly drum azu, the only 2 things it doesnt kill with aqua jet at +6 are zygarde and mega swamp, but it outspeeds mega swamp with those standard evs, and zygarde doesnt do much damage to it behind screens.
252+ Atk Zygarde Earthquake vs. 92 HP / 0 Def Azumarill through Reflect: 90-106 (24.7 - 29.1%) -- 99.9% chance to 4HKO

and besides, the opponent will (hopefully) be at -2 atk and spatk from memento, so the only thing stopping u is sand damage and crits.

(I'd be the one to know how to break my own team ;)

Kyurem-B @ Life Orb

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 80 Def / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam
- Stored Power / Energy Ball / Tailwind
- Calm Mind
- Roost

This team tends to struggle with Dragon a bit, this core in particular can give it trouble. Kyurem-B with a Life Orb especially is incredibly hard for the team to wall; it relies on safe switch-ins to keep momentum, and if it doesn't have a safe one it'll use Hippowdon once to snatch some (and Kyurem I believe does have a chance to OHKO Hippo with Ice Beam). Landorus and Excadrill are the only full-proof checks to it, but Swampert can also Mirror Coat it if your not careful. Latios also gives the team a pain in the neck, since Excadrill is the only mon that can outspend it (and sand needs to be up to do that). This has the potential to sweep the entire team, however if its low enough Mamoswine is able to OHKO with Ice Shard, so you have Kyurem as your switch for that (and it's able to threaten it). Latias is incredibly bulky, and with the speed evs it has enough to outspend Zygarde and check that. Personally here I'd run Stored Power, but if you choose to use Surf Latios (which this team absolutely hates), Energy Ball is also an option. This Dragon Core can definitely give the team a run for its money if you make sure to keep Mamoswine and Excadrill in check. Special thanks to Peef Rimgar for wanting to attempt to break my broken team featuring my team in this project, I'm really flattered! :)

...as a small side note, may wanna remove Bug from the types you can't make a core for, this team can actually threaten Bug pretty good, and it has a relatively easy time against it.

Also, I can probably hit you up with a banner if you want ;)

Victini @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- U-turn
- Blue Flare
- Glaciate
- Energy Ball

There is almost no switch in to this mon, due to glaciate lowering the speed, and energy ball to deal with swampert primarily, as well as pivoting with u-turn into predicted switches by the opponent

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Ice Beam
- Scald
- Toxic
- Slack Off

scald and ice bem tears through every mon on the team other than swampert, and toxic is suited for stally mons such as swampert etc...

Sceptile-Mega @ Sceptilite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Giga Drain
- Dragon Pulse
- Focus Blast

sceptile can potentially sweep 4 out of the 6 mons on this team, it can also hard switch into swampert and hippo, then substitute

Kyurem-Black @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Draco Meteor
- Flash Cannon

Kyurem's power and diversity speaks for itself, being able to sweep and outspeed mons like Lando and Zygarde. Also, with further physical threats on dragon teams like garchomp and dragonite the special attack will be fine. and do surprisingly well against mamoswine, a dragon killer.

Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD

Standard fat normal core. Toxic is on Pory-2 for chip damage on mons, specifically Swampert. Trace is to help Pory-2 to have a very high chance to live 2 banded EQs if it switches into Exca when rocks are up as well as sand.

Rocks are on Chansey as filler for extra chip damage on mons switching in, just in case the opponent tries to double around. Counter helps catch some things off guard, since no move can OHKO Chansey.

Raptor helps get rid of rocks, which can save Chansey and Pory-2 from certain 2HKOs. It also provides a nice check to Mamo and Exca, as it can switch into Superpowers and Earthquakes, respectively, thanks to its ability and typing. Brace Bird is nice STAB for damage, and Close Combat helps hit Exca, if it chooses to try and stay in.

Thanks to the wonderful bulk that these two mons present in conjunction with Eviolite, this core is pretty safe. The only issues that can arise are crits, and if Lando gets to set up. However, Focus Blast isn't the most accurate move, so the threat is semi-relieved in that, as well as all damage can be recovered off, so it comes down to 50/50 with whether they attack or try to set up and if you recover or seismic toss. Issues can also arise if Rocks stay up on the field, since Chansey and Porygon-2 might be 2HKO as opposed to 3HKO. Other than that, this defensive core is pretty sound.

Explanation :

Craw + Wea + M-Sab core are very strong, specially against Ground team. Crawdaunt Band can one shot Landorus and Excadrill with Aqua-Jet, and M-Swampert, Hippodown and Mamoswine, whats making him a big threat team. Weavile is the "cleaner", his Ice STAB is very useful against Landorus, Zygarde and Hippodown, he can also OKHO Mamoswine with Low Kick. I run Utility M-Sableye to check the two threats of my offensive core : M-Swampert and Zygarde.

It is apparent that this Ground Team suffers from Spike stacking, especially if the team lacks any form of hazard removal, and when that spike stacking is paired with a monster known as Mega Gyarados. Skarmory is key here, as it needs to set up Spikes in order to let Gyarados have a merry day with this team. It can set up Spikes vs almost anything in this team, bar Landorus as it can potentially 2HKO you with Focus Blast (but lol landing Focus Blast). The IVs and Nature allow for Skarmory to be undersped by Swampert by 1 point, allowing it to Roost freely without fear of getting EQed. With that EV spread and Nature, Gyarados is allowed to outspeed Adamant Excadrill in Sand after +2. Gliscor's main role is to stop Landorus-I from destroying things, knocking off its LO as it attempts to set up Calm Minds against you. Alternatively you can use Thundurus with HP Ice or be weird and opt for HP Ice over Toxic on Zapdos, but I prefer something that can switch in, in case Skarmory's taken too much damage already.

Issues I see are Mamoswine and the aforementioned Landorus-I. Mamoswine is always a threat to Flying Monotypes, but if you manage to catch it on an Ice Shard, Gyarados can use that as an opportunity to set up. And Landorus can get a bit crazy if it sets up, but Gliscor should be able to handle it. Here are some calcs:

252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Psychic vs. 244 HP / 200+ SpD Gliscor: 139-164 (39.4 - 46.5%) -- 83.3% chance to 3HKO after Poison Heal

+1 252 SpA Sheer Force Landorus Psychic vs. 244 HP / 200+ SpD Gliscor: 160-189 (45.4 - 53.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Poison Heal (When LO gets Knocked Off at +1)

+1 252 Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 144+ Def Hippowdon: 312-368 (74.2 - 87.6%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO after 1 layer of Spikes

+2 252 Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Crunch vs. 152 HP / 0 Def Mega Swampert: 274-324 (72.2 - 85.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after 1 layer of Spikes(All you need is prior damage once, and you OHKO on the switch. Can also Sub against it if you're still in regular form.)

144 SpA Mega Swampert Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 180+ SpD Skarmory: 127-151 (38 - 45.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

216+ Atk Choice Band Mamoswine Icicle Crash vs. 252 HP / 76 Def Skarmory: 157-186 (47 - 55.6%) -- 19.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 Atk Skarmory Iron Head vs. 112 HP / 0 Def Mamoswine: 174-206 (44.7 - 52.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after 1 layer of Spikes
