Might want to mention that HP and Def IVs are somewhat more difficult to pass on than the other 4 IVs. Very useful videos, nicely done.

About the SR Stuff.
Does this only work when you use an AR ?
Exspecially when you've got an 1/4 Chance, is seems that you could just hatch a few eggs to get what you search.

Anyway, very helpful, I've never breed seriosly in Emerald, and the Video really helps me^^

I don't have AR (yet). SRing works fine, even if you're passing one stat. Main point is that the nature/gender could screw you over if you don't SR.

Nice quality video. What I've also done many times in the past was save the game when the eggs were closest to hatching, and whichever ones had multiple-flawless stats I would then turn off the game, transfer such egg over to my LeafGreen game (OT=Anakin) through Pokemon Box to hatch as this helps with friendlier breeding and leveling up purposes as well.

@DawnBringer: Unfortunately the only adamant zigzagoon I had gotten had already evolved, and the other zigzagoons I got had crappy natures and IVs. If anybody is willing to let me borrow their games I might attempt for such though it does require catching 30+ pokemon in the game.

Reminds me, we need Pokemon Box for D/P now to help with my overcrowding problem.

So I guess if you were breeding for hidden power in emerald, the only sure way to determine ivs would be to level the pokemon up to 100 and run it through a calculator?

For hidden power, get into a battle with a kecleon and see what its type changes to after using hidden power. Instead of searching for one, you may want to do a link battle with a 2nd GBA.

Just battle the girl between forre (something) and lilycove, its the girl near the berry patch when you're out of the rain near a fence before the short grass patches, she has like a level 20-30ish kecleon

Yeah I'm glad I got Box too, makes my Emerald breeding so much easier. And I still do, even though I haven't told you guys what I'm breeding there yet.

I didn't watch the whole video, but it looked very nice. I also enjoyed how clean the recording was. And most of all, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who nicknames their pokemon according to their IVs.

It makes it easier to pick out the Pokemon I need when I want to breed. ^_^

Also, I had to edit a lot for this vid, but my DVD-recorder has top-notch recording quality, so I only had to cut some stuff because of Youtube's limit.
