Burial - archangel. For those who don't know, London producer, made a load of epic EPs and powerful full length release in Untrue.

Actress - N.E.W. Another English producer who cam eout with a really chilled/ experimental record a couple of years ago called R.I.P. Had a recent album out called ghettoville which is apparently pretty quality but i haven't listened to it.

J Dilla - Waves. If you haven't heard J dilla's donuts album it's a really good place to start if you want to get into some instrumental hip hop. pretty legendary producer.

DJ Shadow - What does you soul look like part 1. My favourite track on the Endtroducing album by DJ Shadow. Fantastic album made entirely of samples (i think).

Love the shoutouts to Dilla, Yung Gud and Clams Casino in this thread! Not a huge fan of electronic music but I am a fan of rap and MadLib is one of my fav producers here is the instrumental for can't hold on by M.E.D that he produced the song isn't great but the instrumental rocks:

Also, it is kind of odd for this thread but I really find Tool to be a nice band to put in the background:

Ok fair enough, anything madlib touches is gold, so versatile. Only problem is some of the artists he works with are just average (MED for example) Gibbs is better than most but idk if he has peaked with that tape.

- Juventa: Move Into Light (Koven Remix)
- Seven Lions: Days to Come
- Foxes: Youth (Adventure Club Remix)
- Yuna: Lullabies (Adventure Club Remix)
- Adventure Club and Krewella: Rise and Fall
- Florence and The Machine: Cosmic Love (Seven Lions Remix) <--- Get serious chills listening to this one....
- Above and Beyond: You Got To Go (Seven Lions Remix)
- Approaching Nirvana: Fade Away
- Approaching Nirvana: Witness

All really good songs I've listened to, there are a whole lot more though I don't want to overload too much lol.

as I said to GatoDelFuego, the title of this thread is 'electronic/remix', the '[chill thread]' part meant 'come here and chill out, dont be a try hard mememaster'. i guess i wasnt very clear but w/e

i like keeping things on the chill side so lets not post anything like drums n bass, also i think chill rock music is outta scope. rap is welcome as the beats tend to be on the electronic/remix side (esp. peeps like jdilla/madlib)

ah mb chaos i just assumed liquid dnb would be allowed since it's kinda like a mellowed out version of dnb. ignore the dnb tracks then

Not quite like the other songs in this thread (not actually sure if it counts as pure electronic), but Haruka Nakamura makes some great electronic / nu jazz music that I highly recommend if you're looking for more laid back music. Haruka really makes a lot of great music and I can't recommend them enough.

Posting some good shit.
http://puu.sh/9ATbg.mp3 - China Dress by Memme, great melody nice to listen and do shit to
http://puu.sh/bVT0a.mp3 - Calamity Fortune by LeaF, true ear rape like all electronic music should be
http://puu.sh/bVTbu.mp3 - Ukigumo by Hige Drive, big fan of chiptunes and this one is pretty pro
http://puu.sh/bVTk0.m4a - Japan Air by Anamanaguchi, more chiptunes but with a totally different feel / style to the previous one, one of my favorite songs
http://puu.sh/bVx1B.mp3 - 桜吹雪の舞う宵に idk I can't read this shit, p sure it says sakura in there which is cherry blossom song itself is p nice
http://puu.sh/bVUku.swf - 0x40 Hues, neat little compilation of some pro songs, can mess about with settings if you hit O on your keyboard, also ebin anime grills ; )

scene

Banned deucer.
I'm going to go ahead and drop a few songs from some popular, very talented artists (especially good if you're not hugely into electronic music yet, if you are you've probably heard lots of this stuff already). this is the kind of music you hear in videos and wish the dude had left a song name in the description.

uppermost - left unsaid this is probably my favourite uppermost song, it's an amazing work that still bounces around my head
uppermost - passion I like my uppermost, and passion's an interesting song by him. it's a little different, with a magical melody throughout
uppermost - revolution this isn't chill, but while I'm posting uppermost it's well worth swinging by and checking out. foot-tappingly good
flashback which electro posted is also very good

blackmill - home if you haven't heard blackmill before, you're in for a treat. this is an incredible song and I can't recommend it enough. it only gets better as it progresses too, like most of blackmill's stuff
blackmill - spirit of life jaunty, chill and inspirational all at once
blackmill - miracle yeah this guy's actually quite good at the whole music making thing

mitis - blu this is what mitis is all about. amazing melodies that relax you and make you want to dance all at once
mitis - namaste alvida a rollercoaster ride of a song
mitis - born chirpy beat with some delicious drops

chaos, that Tokimonsta remix was awesome, I've only heard her album work but now I'm definitely gonna check out more of her remixes

also here's a similar type of remix that mixes hip hop and electronic that someone showed me yesterday

I checked out that channels other songs and for the most part it's really good stuff

tycho is my favourite choice for chill electronic music, i'll never get bored of his work

video
See him live. It's phenomenal.

I really love this song right now. Toro y Moi and Washed Out are killing the chillwave game.

Check out Craft Spells, Real Estate, Radio Dept, Tennis (more pop-like but still has that definite chill/eletronic background) and Small Black

IndieShuffle.com is a really good website too, they browse soundcloud and select songs they like for that day. roughly 10 new songs a day but not all of them are chill music, lots of good tracks.
