Alolan Diglett utilizes Life Orb to power through the Little Cup metagame! Alolan Diglett has an excellent speed tier of 19, only being outsped by Hisuian Voltorb, and only having a few speed ties such as Meowth and Wingull. Life Orb allows Alolan Diglett to OHKO Hisuian Voltorb, Stunky, and Pawniard with Earthquake. Iron Head has a chance to flinch, allowing Alolan Diglett to stay healthy, and comfortably knockout more Pokemon. Rock Blast hits Wattrel and Larvesta, as well as Vullaby, who’s Weak Armor ability makes each hit stronger. Sucker Punch allows for speed control against Scarfers like Gothita and setup sweepers such as Drifloon. Alolan Diglett’s ability, Tangling Hair, offers speed control against Physical Attackers, as it lowers the foe’s Speed on contact. Tera Ground offers more power to Alolan Diglett’s Earthquake, OHKOing Tinkatink, and removing its weakness to common Fighting-, Ground- and Fire- type attacks. Alolan Diglett appreciates Knock Off support such as Mienfoo, Vullaby, and Toedscool to remove Eviolite, to ease its wall breaking. Alolan Diglett is very frail, therefore, bulky attackers such as Foongus, Glimmet, and Vullaby that can remove its checks make for great partners.
