FINISH HIM!

Mmmm yes, this is a team based off of early killings, Sceptile, and residual damage to slowly yet surely kill the opponent off. Gimmicky? Maybe. Does it work? Yes. Does it need some help? Yeaaaah.

Credit to aragornbird and arkeis.com for these amazing pictures!

Honchkrow (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Insomnia
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Thunder Wave
- Sucker Punch
- Taunt
- Pursuit

Credit to FiveKRunner for this set. I've wanted to test this out, and let me say, it delivers pretty well. It punishes Deoxys-S leads, which is something not many leads can boast. The lack of Drill Peck is odd, though Pursuit and Sucker Punch provide an excellent trapper. Insomia is an amazing trait for a lead to have.

Tentacruel (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 204 HP/36 Spd/96 SAtk/172 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Toxic Spikes
- Surf
- Rapid Spin

The ability to absorb Toxic Spikes and Rapid Spin helps this team (especially Sceptile) so much. Tentacruel has reason to be OU now, haha. His resistances are pretty decent to support Sceptile as well.
---

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/224 Def/32 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Thunderbolt
- Calm Mind
- Psychic

Awwww look how cute aragornbird made Jirachi :happybrain:. He's here for sweeping in late game, Wish, resitances. He's somewhat of a filler, but he's been great to this team so far.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/52 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Stealth Rock

Big ol' Swampert exists for Stealth Rock support, a Rock resist, and to tank physically. I might switch to Rest Talker for when Honchcrow is dead. Swampert is such a big staple to my teams that its not funny. If you find a replacement for this, I will be impressed.
---

Sceptile (M) @ Petaya Berry
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Leaf Storm
- Quick Attack
- Endeavor

My favorite pokemon makes a star appearance in this team. This doesn't go, ok? He's yet to make a sweep, but I love this set. Sub down until Petaya, and then Endeavor/Quick Attack. Leaf Storm will DESTROY anything that doesn't resist it after Overgrow and Petaya.
---

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 216 HP/16 Atk/176 Def/100 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Taunt
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake

Mmm I needed a physical sweeper and a reliable fighting resist, so I threw Gyarados in here. What a faithful pokemon. He prevents things like Lucario or Heracross from completely eating me.
---

This team seems pretty fragile, over all. Any replacements (though I'd like to keep Honchcrow and Sceptile) would be cool, as well as reasons.

Consider Gliscor over gyara. It can be a frightening sweeper and a wall. This is the set I use

Gliscor @ Leftovers
180 HP/56 Def/56 Atk/218 Speed
Sand Veil/Hyper Cutter
-Earthquake
-Roost
-Swords Dance
-Stone Edge/Ice Fang
