Froslass finds a tiny niche in RU as a lead on hyper offense teams thanks to its good speed tier, Spikes, and Destiny Bond. Taunt can stop other leads from setting up entry hazards and prevent Pokemon such as Flygon and Rotom-C to remove Froslass' entry hazards. Destiny Bond can take down other attackers after Froslass has set entry hazards, and pairs especially well with Taunt to force opposing Pokemon to either hit Froslass with an attacking move or switch out. Icy wind provides damage and utility, slowing down faster Hazard removal such as Defog Crobat, allowing Froslass to freely setup Spikes.
Sweepers such as Polteageist and Cloyster benefit from Froslass' spikes wearing down their checks such as Umbreon and Milotic.
