Why do we have to have a certain post-count in order to be a part of the Battling 101 program?

I don't contribute because I don't know anything, and I really won't know anything until I receive proper guidance.

Because of this, my posts are degraded to "Post for Pre-Req".

Why are things this way?

Next time please use a more descriptive title for your thread. The Battling 101 program is very popular, not everyone can get in. Also, we don't know that people who immediately sign up will actually stick to the program. Finally, you don't have to contribute to get a post count; you can join a discussion.
