Mega Pidgeot (Normal) [2/2] [0/1]

[SET]
Pidgeot @ Pidgeotite
Name: Bird Jesus (Normal)
Ability: Tangled Feet
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- Roost
- Toxic / U-turn

[SET COMMENTS]
Mega Pidgeot is one of the premier special attackers Normal teams have access to because of its good Speed tier and a powerful, coveted STAB move in Hurricane that beats nuisances to Normal teams like Kommo-o and Ogerpon-W while never missing. Heat Wave complements Hurricane well by heavily damaging Steel-types like Jirachi, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor, which makes Mega Pidgeot very effective against Psychic, Grass, and Bug teams. Roost heightens Mega Pidgeot's longevity by taking advantage of defensive Pokemon that can't hit it very hard, such as Mega Sableye and Slowbro. In the last slot, Toxic's ability to cripple switch-ins like Iron Hands, Rotom-W, and Mantine is preferred, but U-turn is valuable to keep momentum and flee from checks such as Heatran and Alolan Muk. Ursaluna forms an incredible wallbreaking core with Mega Pidgeot; it is able to demolish special walls like Clodsire and Hisuian Goodra and can switch into Electric-type moves that target the bird. In return, Mega Pidgeot helps Ursaluna beat physical walls like Mega Venusaur and Skarmory, revenge kills Grass- and Fighting-types such as Ogerpon-W and Keldeo that threaten the bear, and is able to U-turn into Ursaluna so it activates its Flame Orb safely. Staraptor is a great defensive pivot that removes entry hazards for Mega Pidgeot and brings it into the field unscathed with U-turn. Similarly, Chansey, Blissey, and Porygon2 are very bulky partners that can switch into most attacks aimed at Mega Pidgeot and pivot into it via Teleport. Chansey and Blissey also lay down Stealth Rock to help Mega Pidgeot net more KOs, notably letting it OHKO Mega Venusaur and 2HKO Toxapex with Hurricane.

Mega Pidgeot is one of the premier special attackers Normal teams have access to because of its good speed tier and a powerful, coveted STAB move in Hurricane that never misses thanks to No Guard (can put 2 to three nuisances here that M.Pidge beats like Ogerpon-W, Kommy, and other stuff). Heat Wave complements Hurricane extremely well by allowing Mega Pidgeot to nail Steel-types like Jirachi, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor, which makes Mega Pidgeot very effective against Psychic, Grass, and Bug teams. Roost heightens Mega Pidgeot's longevity by taking advantage of the switches it forces, or of defensive Pokemon that can't hit it very hard, such as Mega Sableye and Slowbro. In the last slot, Toxic's ability to cripple switch-ins like Iron Hands, Rotom-W, and Mantine is preferred so Mega Pidgeot can make even more progress in the Fighting, Water, and Flying matchups. U-turn, however, is valuable to keep momentum and flee from checks such as Heatran and Alolan Muk (you can mention that you bring in the luna tho with uturn...somewhere). Ursaluna forms an incredible wallbreaking core with Mega Pidgeot; it is able to demolish special walls the bird cannot, like Galarian Slowking and Hisuian Goodra. In return, Mega Pidgeot helps Ursaluna beat physical walls like Mega Venusaur and Skarmory, and revenge kills Grass- and Fighting-types that threaten to OHKO the bear, such as Ogerpon-W and Keldeo. Staraptor is a great defensive pivot that removes hazards for Mega Pidgeot and brings it into the field safely with U-turn. I would put offensive infront of Jirachi, SpD jirachi is a flat out 3hko.

Chansey and Blissey also lay down Stealth Rock to help Mega Pidgeot net more KOs.
You can mention a notable ko the bird claims due to stealth rock. For example you now just flat out OHKO M Venu after Stealth Rock

QC 2/2 well done.
