Added Moves: Dragon Rush
Weight: 192 kg
Flavor/Design: Idk its like a big milotic ig
Competitive Overview: The only mega with buit-in leftovers. Either you go full on special tank or you go Coil. Mega weak to statuses if it doesnt carry refresh.

Pokémon: Ekans
Link: Regional Form
New Regional Form Name: Ekans-Alola
Type:

Abilities: Static / Shed Skin / Surge Surfer
Stats: 35 / 65 / 44 / 40 / 44 / 60 (+5 Atk, -10 SpD, +5 Spe)
Added Moves: Zing Zap, Spark, Wild Charge, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Thunder Shock, Nuzzle, Discharge, Dragon Breath, Scale Shot, Dragon Pulse
Removed Moves: Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Acid, Acid Spray, Belch, Poison Fang, Poison Sting, Poison Tail, Venoshock
Weight: 6.0 kg
Flavor/Design: Similar to Ekans but with reverse coloration (predominantly yellow but with purple stripes and yellow underbelly. Alolan Ekans' doens't have poison. Its rear tip however, is is filled with electricity.
Competitive Overview Can be used as a Coil set-up sweeper or Electric Surge sweeper.

Pokémon: Ekans
Link: Regional Form
New Regional Form Name: Ekans-Alola
Type:

Abilities: Static / Shed Skin / Surge Surfer
Stats: 60 / 105 / 69 / 65 / 59 / 90 (+10 Atk, -20 SpD, +10 Spe)
Added Moves: Zing Zap, Spark, Wild Charge, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Thunder Shock, Nuzzle, Discharge, Dragon Breath, Outrage
Removed Moves: Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Acid, Acid Spray, Belch, Poison Fang, Poison Sting, Poison Tail, Venoshock
Weight: 6.0 kg
Flavor/Design: Alolan Arbok does not have poison. It prefers to strangle and electrocute its prey before eating them. Alolan Arbok is bright yellow with black stripes. The scary face in its belly is now a pouch filled with electricity.
Competitive Overview A physical Electric Terrain sweeper. Its higher Attack (compared to Alolan Raichu's SpA) compensates for its lack of Expanding Force use, while Zing Zap's 30% flinch chance can make it really annoying for Alolan Arbok's opponents.
Pokémon: Magneton
Link: Base Stat Total Change
Stats: 50/60/95/120/70/80 (+10) (BST 475)
Justification: Considering Magnezone, is there a reason to add this +10 to anywhere but speed?
...Okay maybe attack but 70 attack ain't gonna do jack, mate.
Congratulations to Gravity Monkey, MegaFlareon, zerobreaker000 for winning!

For Electrode's evolution, we have a 2-way tie between guruu and zerobreaker000. To break the tie, we will have a short tiebreaker vote for the first couple days of the next slate (or however long it takes to get a definitive winner). Vote for one of the 2 below options
Pokémon: Electrode
Link: Evolution
New Evolution Name: Gluttohm (Glutton + Ohm)
Type:

Abilities: Soundproof/Static/Aftermath
Stats: 100 (+40)/50/80 (+10)/90 (+10)/85 (+5)/130 (-20) (BST 535)
Added Moves: Boomburst, Final Gambit, Energy Ball, Stockpile, Swallow, Spit Up
Weight: 235.2 kg
Flavor/Design: Electrode's dex entry talks about it feasting on electricity at power plants, so Gluttohm is just an Electrode that ate way too damn much electricity and got slower as a mirror to Magnezone's similar speed drop. To reflect how fed it is, its HP is now far higher which is totally not done for Final Gambit shenanigans, no no sir.
Normal type might be a bit of a stretch, but given the other famous big eater in Snorlax I feel like this should be fine, and it does end up with good compatibility with Boomburst (which I only remembered upon thinking of a STAB to give it). Speaking of Boomburst, it not being on Electrode to begin with was curious anyways, given it having several sound-based moves from level up and it being called, well, Boom-burst. Abilities are kept the same to mirror Magnezone not changing abilities, either.
Genuinely unsure what design it'd have, outside of it not just being an upgraded Pokeball or something generic like that. Maybe an opened Pokeball?

Pokémon: Electrode

Type:

Abilities: Sound Proof, Static, Aftermath
Stats: 75 | 50 | 70 | 100 | 80 | 160 ( +15 HP, +20 SpA, +10 Spe )
Added Moves: Shell Smash, Stored Power
Weight: WIP

I'll let the tiebreaker run by itself for an hour or two, then the next slate will open (and the tiebreaker will continue if necessary)

I think it's just about safe to call the tiebreaker now 2 hours after the last vote, so the winner by a vote of 4-2 is zerobreaker000

Added Moves: Freeze-Dry
Weight: 30 kg
Flavor/Design: Froslass 2
Competitive Overview: A "OAV" mon (own Aurora Veil). Goes really fast and hits things with strong accurate Blizzards and Freeze-Drys. Like usual, it has a lot of utility options like spikes, statuses and pain split which can all be used as last move options. Its balanced by its really horrendous defensive typing, granting it an unbootsable sr weakness.

Ability: Merciless
Stats: 70 / 100 / 70 / 110 / 120 / 110
New Moves: Burning Jealousy
New Weight: 32.2
Flavor:
Froslass is a spirit that kidnaps pokemon and people (specifically men) and freezes them. Froslass eats the souls of its frozen prey, and if you were to see one you'd run. Upon Mega Evolution froslass emits a very cold haze, almost completely sealing it. You can tell its close if your chills begin to worsen. It's strength in the cold is immense, and has no mercy for anyone who succumbs to it.
-----------------------------------
Competitive:
Froslass is typically a hazard setter that doesn't do anything else interesting. It has some cool perks of running a physical set thanks to poltergeist, but other than that it's pretty lame. This mega froslass aims to make her less boring. First off I want to say that merciless + Hex is a devastating combination, combine it with Toxic Spikes, Thunder Wave, or Will-o-Wisp (or freeze if you're lucky!) and you can pull off a lot of damage. Burning Jealousy is a sneaky way of giving an ice type fire-coverage, but also allows it to burn anything that tries to setup on it with ease, and it doesn't have to shake off a taunt first to do so.

Pokemon: Misdreavus & Mismagius
Link
: New Abilities
Abilities: Levitate & Prankster / Witches Curse
"Lower's the target's special defense by 1 stage if they are hit by a resisted move."
---------------------------------
Justification: Witches Curse makes Mismagius a little better as a wallbreaker just to punish switch-ins more often. Shadow Ball + Dazzling Gleam is something you want to take full advantage of, and with nasty plot there's no egregious amount of set-up. You still struggle against blissey though

Prankster is something to look out for on Misdreavus. One wrong move and something dies to destiny bond, it's basically just like murkrow though with a lot less utility. It's only 2 reliable moves being perish song and destiny bond

Ability: Fur Coat
Stats: 70/80/110 (+40)/120 (+40)/90 (+20)/110 (BST 580 (+100))
Added Moves: Mystical Fire, Calm Mind
Weight: 56.4 kg
Flavor/Design: I've done a few Mega Froslass for projects here and there, and this submission is in a way a retread of the design I did for Insurgence.
Just, you know.
With more thoughts put into it.
Froslass's design as an yuki-onna-inspired monster is rather complete, so emphasizing on the kimono aspect of the design would give more flexibility. There are occasions where ladies would wear a fur shawl on top of their kimono - namely, the coming-of-age ceremony, which incidentally is held in winter. A rather well match, if one is to consider a progression from Froslass to, well, Froslass but more.
"But how can Froslass grow fur on it?" Hair ice exists, ez.
Mystical Fire is here mainly because Froslass can already learn Will-O-Wisp, and if Alcremie can learn it I'm pretty sure anything can plausibly do the same.
Competitive Overview: Excellent defense allows it to stay in against many physical attacks and either attack or set up, and the decently high speed combined with (relatively) low HP allows it to press Pain Split for a lot of HP and cripple opponents as well. Obviously weak to status and the SpA is nothing to write home without an item to boost damage, but it should have impressive survivability for an Ice-type and put in work against anything weak to its actually pretty impressive set of attacking moves.

New Evolution Name: Paleolyena (paleolithic + hyena)
Type:

Abilities: Pressure/Analytic/Stakeout
Stats: 100/120/90/60/70/80 (BST 520)
Added Moves: Stone Edge, Bone Rush, Bonemerang, Spikes, Stealth Rock, Trick, Fake Out
Weight: 76.0 kg
Flavor/Design: A concept based around cave paintings, mainly of the cave hyenas but also of other animals and figures. Many of the moves added to Mightyena revolve around its newly gained Rock-typing, the cave-dwelling aspect as well as filling in moves that regular Mightyena really ought to have; While moves added to Paleolyena are focused on the seldomly portrayed intelligence of hyenas as well as the fossil status of cave hyenas in real life. The added ability in Analytic reflects this, too, while Pressure and Stakeout point to how spotted hyenas (which cave hyenas are) are one of the top hunters in the wild.
Competitive Overview: A decently bulky attacker capable of discouraging switching from a combination of Pursuit and Stakeout/Analytic, held back by its poor defensive typing and a speed that's nothing to write home. If you have sandstorm support it could probably still take a hit or two and dish back some good damage, though, especially with Analytic.

Ability: Frozen In Fear - Intimidate clone for Speed
Stats: 70 / 120 (+40) / 70 / 120 (+40) / 70 / 130 (+20) (580 BST)
Added Moves: U-Turn, Nasty Plot, Thunder Punch
Weight: 30.6 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional): Regular Froslass is already a terrifying sight to see when one is lost on a snowy mountain, with the victim liable to being frozen and turned into the Froslass' cave decorations (actual line from its Sun PokeDex entry). So, imagine the horror of a mountain climber when suddenly a blizzard comes upon them and they're unable to see anything except for the silhouette of a Mega Froslass before them. While Mega Froslasses in the wild are exceedingly rare, it is known that they are extremely deadly, with over 75% of anyone unlucky enough to encounter one being promptly frozen and having their body and/or soul eaten. Mega Froslasses owned by trainers are much friendlier and much less dangerous, but their beefed up ice powers and blistering speed makes them a serious threat to opposing Pokémon and the battlefield they battle on
Competitive Overview (Optional): With 130 Speed and a free speed control ability, Froslass looks to outspeed just about everything and set up in some way, whether it's Spikes, Will-O-Wisp, Substitute, Nasty Plot, Thunder Wave, or keeping up momentum with U-Turn. Compared to Mega Glalie, it's a lot less immediately threatening but becomes more threatening as time goes on. Still has flaws in being weak without a boost and being terribly frail, though

Removed Moves: Astonish, Incinerate, Poison Fang, Retaliate, Rock Smash, Spite, Take Down, Embargo
Weight: 13.6 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional): While Zigzagoons in Galar are tied to the more punk and grudge lifestyle, Poochyenas in Galar are tied to the more posh, high society life in the region. These Poochyenas, said to be the oldest and original variant of the species, were the common companions of the richest nobles who would often watch plays with their Poochyenas by their sides. These Poochyenas became deeply in love with these productions and eventually playwrights started to write roles for the Pokemon in their plays, which made plays much more popular and fun to watch. Galarian Poochyenas have a wide acting range, from the funniest of comedies, to the most painful of tragedies, to the most dastardly of villains.
The secondary Dark-typing mirrors how Zigzagoon's Normal type became its regional form's secondary type and also represents tragedies and villains in plays, while Fairy represents comedies.
Competitive Overview (Optional): Use Impidimp instead, which also isn't even good

Pokémon: Mightyena
Link: Regional Form
New Regional Form Name: Mighytena-Galar
Type:

Abilities: Intimidate / Quick Feet / Moxie
Stats: 70 / 90 / 70 / 60 / 60 / 70 (420 BST)
Added Moves: Baby-Doll Eyes, Entrainment, Fake Tears, Fairy Wind, Dazzling Gleam, Charm, Encore, Spotlight, Sing, Tearful Look, Copycat, Sweet Kiss, Follow Me, False Surrender, Teeter Dance, Swords Dance, Echoed Voice, Parting Shot, Play Nice, Role Play
Removed Moves: Astonish, Incinerate, Poison Fang, Retaliate, Rock Smash, Spite, Take Down, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Throat Chop, Embargo
Weight: 34 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional): Mightyenas in Galar have even greater acting abilities, being able to hold the emotions of audiences in the palms of their hands (or paws, I guess). With this improved acting ability comes the ability to act in even more genres, like knowing all the songs and dances for musicals
Competitive Overview (Optional): Intimidate and Eviolite with 70/70 physical bulk makes it deceptively bulky on that side and it has utility in Heal Bell, Yawn, Toxic, Taunt, Foul Play, Roar, and Parting Shot to let it act as a defensive pivot. However, it's probably only meh at this outside of the NFE meta, and it definitely won't sniff OU, let alone NatDex OU

Pokémon: Mightyena-Galar
Link: Evolution
New Evolution Name: Hamlyena (Shakespeare's Hamlet + Hyena)
Type:

Abilities: Own Tempo / Dazzling / Hustle
Stats: 90 / 110 / 90 / 70 / 70 / 90 (520 BST)
Added Moves: Close Combat, Rock Smash, Double Kick, Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Iron Head, Feint Attack, Hold For Applause - Fairy Work Up clone + Lucky Chant
Weight: 64 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional): Hamlyenas are the masters of the stage in Galar. With the ability to perform in basically any genre, talented Hamlyenas are highly sought after by modern theatre companies and contest halls. Particularly skilled Hamlyenas are even commonly seen on the big screen in Pokéstar Studios Productions from overseas. The species, unsurprisingly, holds the record for the most awards won by a single species of Pokémon, completely shattering the previous record held by Lucario from the famed Brycen-Man franchise. One reason why Hamlyenas are more sought after than Galarian Mighytenas is because of their ability to perform in action movies with its newfound fighting spirit. Every movie isn't a hit, of course, but a dedicated trainer/actor and their Hamlyena work hard to produce the greatest plays and movies in the whole world.
Competitive Overview (Optional): Remember Mega Grimmsnarl from Megamax, which had Hustle + False Surrender? Yeah, this is that but way faster with Swords Dance, the ability to hold a boosting item, and better Fighting coverage in Close Combat. With these traits, a Swords Dance set with Play Rough, False Surrender, and either Sucker Punch or CC or a Choice Band set with the option to pivot with Parting Shot are both viable ways to dent walls with this thing. It a little on the slow side for a sweeper and Play Rough and Close Combat are super unreliable thanks to Hustle, but despite only having 1 stat over 100, Hamlyena can be extremely threatening

:sm/misdreavus::sm/mismagius:
Pokémon: Misdreavus
Link: New Ability
Abilities: Levitate / Magician / Prankster
Justification: Both Magician and Prankster have flavor connections to the concept of witchcraft and magic, which Misdreavus is based on, so this seems like a natural fit. Prankster also mirrors Murkrow and Misdreavus, with its decent 60/60/85 Eviolite-boosted bulk and moves like Will-O-Wisp, Taunt, Destiny Bond, Memento, Thunder Wave, and Trick, can abuse it much more effectively

Pokémon: Mismagius
Link: New Ability
Abilities: Levitate / Magician / Magic Guard
Justification: Again with the magic thing, plus Magic Guard actually gives you a reason to use Mismagius over Gengar, since it now also doesn't care about poison as well as hazards, weather, and, most importantly, Life Orb recoil, making Mismagius a sturdier sweeper and stallbreaker

Ability: Technician
Stats: 70 / 125 / 70 / 125 / 60 / 130 (BST 580)
Added Moves: Shadow Sneak, Hone Claws, Calm Mind, Ancient Power
Weight: 35.3 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional): Upon Mega Evolution, Froslass’ claws grow out to form sharp spikes that resemble fans with which it attacks opponents. It surrounds itself with a light veil of ice and its red knot grows more intricate; red ribbons emerging from the knot wrap around its arms (like martial arts hand wrapping bands).
Competitive Overview (Optional): It spams Triple Axel as much as it can, dealing huge damage if it lands 3 hits (180 BP stab!). Shadow Sneak and Ice Shard complete its ability to speed control, while Hone Claws can give it much-needed accuracy for both Poltergeist and Triple Axel. Special sets are also viable, thanks to technician boosted HP Fire/Fighting/Ground helping it muscle through its typical checks after a boost.

This pet mod looks interesting. Right now I only have an idea I like for Poochyena-Galar after mulling it over for a couple of days, so that's probably all I will submit, especially since I desperately need actual sleep and don't have any good ideas for the other two (yet).

Added Moves: gains Ice Beam, Ice Shard, Poison Jab, Powder Snow
Removed Moves: loses Fire Fang, Incinerate (...why does it get this in the first place?), Sunny Day
Weight: 30.0 lbs. | 13.6 kg [the same as regular Poochyena]
Flavor/Design: Pokémon Sword: "Poochyena of the Crown Tundra region are fiercer and wilder than normal. If a trainer can tame them, then that same ferocity applies to loyalty too."
Pokémon Shield: "If they can be tamed, then Galar's Poochyena make excellent sled pullers due to their strength, speed, and endurance of icy climates."

This would basically be a Poochyena that takes design inspiration from arctic canines. It would probably be white or at least whitish-blue in its fur coloration. Otherwise, it would mostly look the same as normal Poochyena except for probably having a bigger jaw and/or teeth compared to its small body. I imagine it would be exclusive to the Crown Tundra area of Galar, maybe even just the Freezington area. (Yay for $30 DLCs that should totally be the way of the future.... /s)

Competitive Overview: I neither know nor care about Little Cup, and I cannot imagine Poochyena-Galar would have any merit outside of that format. That said, it would possibly be at least decently usable in Little Cup between being the only Dark / Ice mon there and having access to both Intimidate and Strong Jaw. Shrug.

Basically the same coloration and jaw & teeth changes as Poochyena-Galar above would be applied to Mightyena-Galar, as would the same location restrictions. Really not much more to say about it otherwise.

Competitive Overview: Much like regular Mightyena, I can't imagine that Mightyena-Galar has much (read: any) competitive application since it is still not bulky enough for Eviolite and has even more weaknesses than pure-Dark. Sure, Mightyena-Galar hits far harder with Strong Jaw and can be far faster with Slush Rush, but that's really still not enough to be worthwhile anyway competitively. (Unless some type of NFE-only tier exists I guess? Then maybe?)

Pokémon: Mightyena-Galar
Link: Evolution
New Evolution Name: Whendyena ("wendigo" + "hyena" with a dash of "pun" for both "w(h)erewolf" by using "when" and for "wind"; also keeps the "h" that both Poochyena and Mightyena keep for "hyena")
Type:
/

Abilities: Intimidate / Strong Jaw / Slush Rush (hidden ability)
Stats: 85 HP / 100 Atk / 80 Def / 60 SpA / 80 SpD / 115 Spe [a whole 520 BST]
Added Moves: learns Blizzard, Hail, Ice Punch, Knock Off, Obstruct, Triple Axel
Weight: 101.4 lbs | 46.0 kg [the same as Obstagoon]
Flavor/Design: Pokémon Sword: "A ravenous ambush predator, due to its pure-white coat its most frequent homes are the raging blizzards of the Crown Tundra."
Pokémon Shield: "Whendyena is actually an omnivore as there have been scattered reports of finding ice, rocks, and even steel chewed through in the shape of its immensely powerful jaws."

As its name suggests, it would be a bipedal pure-white yeti that is closer to a "werehyena" in that it would be shaggy yeti with a hyena's head and sharp teeth. Since this mon is in part based on the Wendigo, which is totally relevant to Scottish mythology you guys (this is sarcasm), I imagine it would have claws too given mainstream depictions of the Native American idea (which screw it up just like this one does) tend to do that. In considering being truer to the wendigo idea, however, I was tempted to give it Gluttony as its hidden ability over Strong Jaw in this form, but Gluttony...basically sucks. As such, I did not do that, especially since Strong Jaw is still close enough yet actually useful. (Also, it should arguably be heavier than Obstagoon given its heavily implied gluttony, but please don't make me think about weight, especially in my current sleep-deprived state, I beg of you.)

Obstruct is mostly just there due to Obstagoon having it, though I do think it fits in the sense that it ambushes things, especially during blizzards, and would thus try intent to keep them from escaping. Shrug.

Competitive Overview: It's more of a glass cannon than Obstagoon is, being having naturally higher Attack and Speed but much less bulk, especially physically. Still, it's not actually that fragile, quadruple weakness to Fighting moves and Ice being the worst defensive typing in the game aside. Due to the latter aspect and how both Obstagoon and the regular Mightyena are statted, it was pretty clear I would have to lean into being a physical attacker anyway unfortunately. R.I.P. Blizzard spam.

The obvious problem there with this mon having this typing is that, well, Weavile already exists (and isn't quite good enough for OU much of the time). Despite having a slightly lesser BST at 510, Weavile is so optimized that just trying to outdo its stats would either result in this still being redundant or in obviating Weavile. Neither of those options seemed good. (This same issue is why I chose to go with this version and typing for this idea given the other idea I had even more issues in this department unfortunately, what with Krookodile already existing too and having 519 BST and Intimidate too on top of that.)

As such, it made the most sense to focus on abilities to differ them, especially since Weavile's weakest aspect, beyond its SpA, is its abilities. So I started there and worked backwards, which is why all of these mons have the exact same three abilities. All of the abilities are useful too. Intimidate artificially bolsters their physical bulk, helps force switches, and potentially allows them to survive at least Mach Punches while being one of the best Doubles abilities for those who care about that--I don't. Slush Rush allows them to be (much) faster than Weavile and, in Whedyena's case, basically faster everything else in the game if Hail is up. Strong Jaw gives them stronger & more constant Dark STAB than even Knock Off via Crunch while Ice Fang gets buffed to a rather nice 97.5 base BP while being more accurate than Triple Axel.

Given how potent all of these abilities are, however, part of me fears that Whendyena's stats are still a bit too optimized, especially given how strong its attacks can be. This is in part because it seemed weird for Whedyena to end up having less or equal Attack and less Speed than freaking Sneasel, hence the Attack greater than 95 and Speed equal to 115. I also didn't even really want to give it Knock Off or Triple Axel, but those do seem like things it would actually get, being less shaky than Obstruct is. It at least doesn't get any way to naturally boost itself unlike Weavile, which is good given all of the switches that forces, and I imagine Weavile OHKOs it with Low Kick despite not it being that heavy. (Hmm...it's a roll without Life Orb due to only being 60 BP. Huh. I guess I could make it heavier, but please don't make me think about weight right now.)

But, uh, yeah, Dark / Ice is an excellent attacking combination, Heavy-Duty Boots exist now, and this has a way to hit all of the dominant Fairies except for the brokenness that is Magearna super effectively for a lot of damage no matter what abilities its using. So Whedyena should be good if not great despite exploding if a (STAB) Fighting attacking move so much as grazes it. If nothing else, then anything that still murders Landorus-Therian after Intimidate is going to be at least "fine" with enough Speed to actually outspeed it too.

A possibly decent Froslass-Mega idea occurred to me while copy-pasting that and editing it, but I need to think on it. Not only do submissions end soon, but I'm also still stuck on the other project I'm currently doing right now for hours longer than intended...so, yeah. I would be surprised if I got around to submitting anything for the other two. Oh well. We'll see.

EDIT #1: *wipes drool from face* Ugh. I'm awake again, and just barely in time to submit ideas for the two other entries this slate. Whee:

:sm/froslass:
Pokémon: Froslass
Name of the Mega: Froslass-Mega
Name of the Mega Stone: Froslatite
Type:
/

Ability: Queenly Majesty [I was just going to use Dazzling, but since the two are effectively the same ability, and Froslass is always female....]
Stats: 70 HP / 80 Atk / 90 Def / 120 SpA / 90 Def / 130 Spe [base Frolass stat's: 70 HP / 80 Atk / 70 Def / 80 SpA / 70 SpD / 110 Spe = 480 BST] (+00 / +00 / +20 / +40 / +20 / +20)
Added Moves: Encore, Freeze-Dry, Mystical Fire, Toxic Spikes
Weight: 47.8 lbs | 21.7 kg [the average of its base weight & Snorunt's; Snorunt's weight: 37.0 lbs. | 16.8 kg; base Froslass's weight: 58.6 lbs. | 26.6 kg]
Flavor/Design: Pokémon Sword: "In addition to its increased beauty, Froslass now actively attracts prey to itself by creating campfires during blizzards, luring weary travelers."
Pokémon Shield: "Its haughtiness and pride have only increased. Any perceived slight to its majestic beauty is met with icy breath cold enough to flash-freeze most of its prey."

I am still rather bad at visualizing and describing things physically unfortunately despite all the writing I do and have been doing, so just imagine Froslass in a more elegant, slimmer, and longer "kimono" body that still has its white and blue coloration and red "obi" that wraps around Froslass's waist. I imagine it would the same general patterns on its arms, just in a likely more complex and numerous way. It likely would also have some blue snowflake patterns on its "kimono". I could even imagine it having a kanzashi made of ice despite not having any hair in its base form. Then again, Japan does love its stringy haired ghost girls, so I could also see Froslass-Mega having thin, white "hair" or at least hair-like strands even if they're actually made of snow or something. Shrug.

As far as new moves go, Freeze-Dry is something that always bothered me that Froslass doesn't get, especially since it's not like it would overpowered in its base form given its relatively low SpA and fragility despite its Speed. That they gave it to Glalie but never Frolass is part of what's bothered me, and then they decided to give to the Aurora Veil bot that is Ninetales-Alola...despite that having slightly more SpA than Frolass, literally one point fewer Speed, and arguably better typing. What the hell? Why does this series hate parity so much even between divergent evolutions? [/rant]

As for the other, less justifiable new moves, Encore is the one that fits both the new flavor and Froslass's flavor best, even before the fact that it actually has "hands" unlike Glalie. Toxic Spikes is there because it fits with Froslass generally waiting for its prey to be worn down before freezing it, especially since it can't exactly poison the "frozen souls" it apparently eats as nourishment. [/Pokémon being dark again]

Jokes aside, I've always just found it odd that that only Cofagrigus's family gets Toxic Spikes of the Ghost mons, especially since Toxic Spikes are usually so underwhelming. That seems even more true now with Heavy-Duty Boots existing.

Finally, Mystical Fire is there mostly just because a bunch of (Fairy) mons that shouldn't have gotten the move newly got it in Gen VIII with the death of Hidden Power. Mystical Fire does fit the flavor, is excellent with Froslass's attacking STAB combination, and, the most important thing of all, murders both Corviknight and Scizor (and Ferrothon).

Competitive Overview: Given everything said above, I would imagine that Froslass-Mega would be quite good, maybe even great. I would like to think that it could do so without being overwhelming given it can't easily be revenge killed due to its new ability and is thus an excellent revenge killer itself. That inability to be easily revenged is why I decided that giving it any boosting moves like Nasty Plot or even Calm Mind would be a terrible mistake, especially now that it currently has Mystical Fire. Even just the addition of Mystical Fire itself might be too much though.

Beyond revenging things like nobody's business despite being vulnerable to all hazards, Froslass-Mega would also be an excellent support mon between all four of its new moves even if it doesn't go fully offensive. Being able to play mind games with Destiny Bond without being able to guarantee it against Choice Scarf mons via Prankster, which is the other ability I was considering for this, seems nice too. This is especially true when Encore allows it to easily get hazards up more easily. That it has said hazard vulnerabilities, no real healing, "only" 120 SpA, still has five weaknesses, and can't outright beat Blissey or Chansey should balance it out, I would hope.

:sm/misdreavus::sm/mismagius:
Pokémon: Misdreavus
Link: New Ability
Abilities: Levitate / Infiltrator (new) / Prankster (new; hidden ability)
Justification: Misdreavus loves frightening and surprising people with loud noises to gain nourishing fear, so Infiltrator makes all of its moves into pseudo-sound moves. Prankster fits this same demeanor while having parity with Murkrow.

Pokémon: Mismagius
Link: New Ability
Abilities: Levitate / Infiltrator (new) / Magic Bounce (new; hidden ability)
Justification: Mismagius keeps Infiltrator for reasons said above. It gets Magic Bounce as its new hidden ability, in part for continued parity with Honchkrow losing Prankster when it evolves and in part because many witches in fiction tend to twist the desires of people who ask things of them & turn those desires against them. I also figured that it fits with Prankster's focus on status without actually being the same ability. Finally, Magic Bounce on Mismagius finally gives the game a non-Mega Ghost mon with the ability, and Mismagius's stats are still middling enough that Magic Bounce definitely wouldn't be broken on it.

EDIT #2...-ish: Just noting that the only changes I made were to the too many typos that still existed. Nothing substantial was changed except for the damage to what little pride I have.

Competitive Overview: pixilate gives it a good fairy move that isnt play rough, pixilate body slam is more consistent since it cant miss (unlike play rough) fluffy is there more for flavor than anything, but it can probably be useful too. and thats sort of it.

New Regional Form Name: Poochyena-Galar
Type:

Abilities: Run Away / Quick Feet / Rattled
Stats: 35 / 55 / 35 / 30 / 30 / 35 (220 BST)
Added Moves: Baby-Doll Eyes, Entrainment, Fake Tears, Fairy Wind, Dazzling Gleam, Charm, Encore, Spotlight, Sing, Tearful Look, Copycat, Sweet Kiss, Follow Me, Echoed Voice, Play Nice, Role Play

Pokémon: Poochyena

New Regional Form Name: Poochyena-Galar
Type:

Abilities: Intimidate / Strong Jaw / Slush Rush (hidden ability) [original Poochyena has Run Away / Quick Feet / Rattled (hidden ability)]
Stats: 35 HP / 55 Atk / 35 Def / 25 SpA / 35 SpD / 35 Spe [original Poochyena's stats: 35 HP / 55 Atk / 35 Def / 30 SpA / 30 SpD / 35 Spe = 220 BST]

Shrug.

Pokémon: Poochyena-Galar

Abilities: Intimidate / Strong Jaw / Slush Rush (hidden ability) [original Mightyena has Intimidate / Quick Feet / Moxie (hidden ability)]
Stats: 70 HP / 90 Atk / 65 Def / 55 SpA / 65 SpD / 75 Spe [original Mightyena has 70 HP / 90 Atk / 70 Def / 60 SpA / 60 SpD / 70 Spe = 420 BST]
Added Moves: learns Icy Wind [would be needed for evolving at Level 35, possibly in the night as a parallel to Obstagoon's apparent evolution requirements]
Weight: 81.6 lbs | 37.0 kg [the same as regular Mightyena]
Flavor/Design: Pokémon Sword: "As swift and white as the snows it ferociously stalks, its hunt-signaling cry sounds like a howling gale."
Pokémon Shield: "Although they typically hunt in packs, these Mightyena have been known to make daring solitary attacks, especially under the cover of heavy snowfall."

Pokémon: Mightyena-Galar

Flavor/Design: Pokémon Sword: - "A ravenous ambush predator, due to its pure-white coat, its most frequent homes are the raging blizzards of the Crown Tundra."
Pokémon Shield: - "Whendyena is actually an omnivore as there have been scattered reports of finding ice, rocks, and even steel chewed through in the shape of its immensely powerful jaws."

As its name suggests, it would be a bipedal pure-white yeti that is closer to a "werehyena" in that it would be shaggy yeti with a hyena's head and sharp teeth. Since this mon is in part based on the Wendigo, which is totally relevant to Scottish mythology you guys (this is sarcasm), I imagine it would have claws too given popular depictions of the Native American idea (which screw it up just like this one does) tend to do that.

Obstruct is mostly just there due to Obstagoon having it, though I do think it fits in the sense that it ambushes things, especially, doing blizzards, and would thus try intent to keep them from escaping.

Despite having a slightly lesser BST at 510, Weavile is so optimized that trying to outdo its stats would either result in this still being redundant or in obviating Weavile.

This is in part because it seemed weird for Whedyena to end up having less or equal Attack and less Speed than freaking Snease, hence the Attack greater than 95 and Speed equal to 115. I also didn't even really want to give it Knock Off or Triple Axel, but those do seem like things it would actually get, being less shaky than Obstruct is. It at least doesn't get any way to naturally boost itself unlike Weavile, which is good given all of the switches it forces, and I imagine Weavile OHKOs it with Low Kick despite not it being that heavy.

"Lower's the target's special defense by 1 stage if they are hit by a resisted move."

Pokémon: Misdreavus

:sm/misdreavus::sm/mismagius:

It gets Magic Bounce as its new hidden ability, in part for continued parity with Honchkrow losing Prankster when it evolves and in part because many witches in fiction tend to twist the desires of people who ask things up them & turn those desires against them. I also figured that it fit with Prankster's focus on status without actually being the same ability. Finally, Magic Bounce on Mismagius finally gives the game a non-Mega Ghost mon with the ability, and Mismagius's stats are still middling enough that Magic Bounce definitely wouldn't be broken on it.
