Sorry for the double post but...

Politoed @ Swampertite
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD or SpA / 252 Spe
Jolly / Naive Nature
- Belly Drum
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake / Brick Break / Hidden Power [Grass]

Belly Drum for setup, Waterfall for STAB, Ice Punch for coverage, EQ for more coverage. Brick Break is specifically for Ferrothorn. HP Grass is for Quagsire.

+6 252 Atk Politoed Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory in Rain: 408-481 (122.1 - 144%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+6 252 Atk Politoed Brick Break vs. 252 HP / 88+ Def Ferrothorn: 402-474 (114.2 - 134.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
4 SpA Politoed Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Quagsire: 248-292 (62.9 - 74.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Unaware Clefable walls it hard, but this seems terrifying.

EQ becomes STAB thanks to Swampert's secondary typing.

Even Primal Groudon is deaded. lol. Checking it seems to be best left to priority. Or to Unaware Clefable. Timid nature Red Orb Roserade can shut it down by switching in on a predicted Waterfall, but dies if Politoed predicts and uses Ice Punch or Earthquake.

Not true, actually. Mega Swampert's typing doesn't change compared to standard Swampert, so Pokémon that Mega Evolve with Swampertite don't get any type changes either.

Mamoswine with Banettite: 110/180/90/80/80/90.

Prankster Stealth Rock! Yeah! It also gets the dual screens, oddly enough. Priority Rain Dance could be cool, too, and let's not forget that insane 180 base Attack. 110/90/80 defenses aren't bad either.

Cinccino with Pidgeotite: 75/95/65/130/70/135.

Outpaces all those base 130s, and has a pretty good 130 base Special Attack. While Pidgeotite might seem like an odd choice for an ordinarily physical attacker, Pidgeotite Cinccino has No Guard Sing, Thunder, and Focus Blast, as well as Hyper Voice for STAB.

Actually, Swampert doesn't gain any types upon Mega-ing, so why would Politoed?

I assumed that any secondary typing applied. In my mind that opens up more strategical combinations of bases+mega stones, but I can see why you would keep it simpler. I misread the OP.

Not sure if anyone already posted this, but here it goes:

Mega-Heatran @ Latiasite
Ability: Levitate ( i know it only gets levitate when it mega evolves )
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD or 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD or 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA or just run mixed (im a nub at evs ok? ;-;)
Modest/Calm/Bold/Adamant/Quiet,Brave
- FireBlast/LavaPlume/MagmaStorm
- FlashCannon/Roar/Protect/Taunt/WillOWisp
- EarthPower/Toxic/WillOWisp
- StealthRock

Heatran be like:

Red Orb Magmortar would be a fairly straight upgrade over the Charizardite Y Magmortar I posted earlier. Same 50pt SAtk boost, 30pt SDef boost changing to 20pt Def boost is I guess kind of a wash, and 30 points extra Attack that still won't be used; but Desolate Land is a total upgrade over Drought.

I would call it a tradeoff that would ultimately be positive, but possibly with a couple of drawbacks. The Def for Sp.Def trade might be worthwhile depending on what you're up against. Ability-wise, Desolate Land won't help your teammates much (whereas Drought can help another poke should you have to switch), but complete immunity to Water is pretty solid.

Its time to break all the walls!

Hydreigon @ Red Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild Nature
- Fire Blast
- Dark Pulse
- Superpower / Focus Blast
- Roost / Taunt / Earth Power

92/135/110/175/90/98
Dark / Fire

Oh baby. This thing simply destroys Stallmons with its good STABs in Dark and Fire, which are a really good STAB combo. Fire Blast in particular destroys everything in the Sun. Dark Pulse is your second STAB and a strong one at that. With Superpower you can try and bop the blobs. Focus Blast hits overall harder I think though. Last slot is a toss-up between Roost, Taunt, and Earth Power. All three of these are very useful.

On a more defensive side, here's Hippo

Hippowdon @ Red Orb
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Slack Off
- Whirlwind
- Earthquake
- Toxic / Stealth Rock / Hidden Power Fire

108/132/138/118/72/47
Ground / Fire

This set imho still competes with Groudon as a specially defensive Red Orb user, as Groudon has more SpDef and have Lava Plume. However, Hippo has reliable recovery on its side. Set is pretty easy to understand. Pretty neato stuff.

If you want real sun-boosted wallbreaking power, there's a set I listed in the OP that hits even harder than that Hydreigon with its Fire STAB:
Ninetales @ Houndoominite
Ability: Drought
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Nasty Plot
- Solar Beam/Dark Pulse
- Pain Split/Dark Pulse

73/76/115/111/110/120
Ability: Drought -> Solar Power
While its stats may look far worse, the comparison is clear:

252+ SpA Hydreigon (Red Orb) Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mew in Harsh Sunshine: 372-438 (92 - 108.4%) -- 50% chance to OHKO

252+ SpA Solar Power Ninetales (Houndoominite) Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mew in Sun: 399-469 (98.7 - 116%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO

And just in case that power isn't enough, you have Nasty Plot to let you hit even harder. Like this:

+2 252+ SpA Solar Power Ninetales (Houndoominite) Fire Blast vs. 4 HP / 252 SpD Eviolite Chansey in Sun: 406-478 (63.2 - 74.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Boom.

While it is stronger during the first turn, it quickly loses that power after sun goes away, so unless you have a dedicated Sun Team it doesn't work too well. Meanwhile Hydreigon doesn't need Sun Support and hits hard all the time.
EDIT: also with 120 Speed Ninetales can't really afford to run Modest, as it wants to use that 120 speed. Meawhile Hydreigon is at a strange 98 speed. You could argue that it does need +Speed but meh. Either way the original point stands.

True. Ninetales at least gets to set its own sun on top of benefiting from sun set by other things, but it's definitely true that Red Orb Hydreigon is generally a monster any time it comes in. Ninetales isn't likely to last long anyway though, since it's busy dealing Solar Power damage to itself the whole time (that is what Pain Split is for, but Houndoominite Ninetales really isn't very bulky by Ubers standards regardless). It basically bops something really, really hard once and then dies. Might be useful if your team is already running something with Red Orb though since you can't have more than one of any given Orb or Mega Stone.

Btw you forgot to add that Red Orb adds Fire type (It just says secondary type), also you should put under Red and Blue Orb that primal reversion occurs immediately after the holder comes into battle, kinda preventing the abuse of Weather related abilites and the orbs (I cannot believe I forgot about this).

Infernape @ Lopunnite
Typing: shouldn't change as the ape already has Fighting
Ability: Blaze or Iron Fist -> Scrappy
Base stats: 76/104/71/104/71/108 -> 76/164/81/104/71/138
Nature: Adamant or Jolly (?)
IVs and EVs: presumed straight 31s, presumed 252 Atk 252 Speed 4 somewhere

The big benefit besides the very nice power and speed boost is Scrappy which means Ghosts can no longer ignore Infernape's Close Combat and Mach Punch.

Attacks will probably be Flare Blitz, Close Combat, Mach Punch on some sets, Stone Edge probably getting at least a slash. Swords Dance will likely be an option; this ape is strong but it isn't a wrecking ball.

It doesn't matter in this case because Infernape is Fire/Fighting, but if it was Fighting/Fire it would matter, because it would become a pure Fighting type.

But looks like a neat Pokemon for potentially powering through Giratina or Sableye with a Mega Stone.

Guys, guys, guys...

Honchkrow with Lucarionite.

Adaptability

I think that Mafia Bird has the potential to kick some serious ass in this metagame. Adaptability Sucker Punch and Brave Bird coming off of 160 base attack is pretty damned scary on its own. What's more is that it doesn't have to mega evolve right away, so it can revenge kill a weakened foe, grab a quick Moxie boost, mega evolve and sweep.

And if you think a physical set is the only thing it can run, you're sadly mistaken. It has Nasty Plot to boost its not-quite-as-good Special Attack, and Heat Wave makes for an excellent coverage move. Kind of sucks that its strongest special Flying type STAB move is Air Cutter, but again... Adaptability.

Eh? Eh?

Break all the walls with Red Orb Zard (Y u so OP?)
CharidonY (Charizard) @ Red Orb
Type: Fire
Ability: Desolate Land
252Spa, 252Spd, 4Hp
- Heat Wave/ Fire Blast/ Blast Burn
- SolarBeam
- Earth Power
- Dragon Pulse.
Stats: 78/84/78/109/85/100 - 78/114/98/159/85/100
STAB choices depend on how tough the wall is, Blast Burn being particularly useful in a 1v1 format of this, but also for being my biased choice.

Eh, I'd stick with Fire Blast even in a 1v1 situation. In the off chance Blast Burn doesn't do it (a resist, say), you're hosed on that recharge turn.

It doesn't hit any harder than Char Y in Standards...

252 SpA Red Orb Charizard Blast Burn vs. 4 HP / 252 SpD Slowbronite Blissey in Harsh Sunshine: 274-324 (42 - 49.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
Blissey Seismic Toss vs. 0 HP Mega Charizard Y: 100-100 (33.6 - 33.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

252 SpA Red Orb Charizard Blast Burn vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Altarianite Entei in Harsh Sunshine: 271-319 (73 - 85.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Entei Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Charizard Y: 402-474 (135.3 - 159.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Pretty easy defeat, if you ask me.

Keep in mind that Altarianite Entei can't be Banded 'cause it's too busy holding Altarianite. That said, whether or not it's Altarianite Entei doesn't matter for the defensive calc since Altarianite gives a boost to Defence, not Special Defence. For Altarianite Entei, Stone Edge isn't a guaranteed OHKO. Not that it matters, since if it hits even once over the two turns of Charizard's Blast Burn + Recharge, you can simply Extreme Speed it if it survives.

252+ Atk Altarianite Entei Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Red Orb Charizard: 256-302 (86.1 - 101.6%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO (10% chance to OHKO after Stone Edge accuracy)

252+ Atk Pixilate Altarianite Entei Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Red Orb Charizard: 99-117 (33.3 - 39.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Hippowdon @ Altarianite
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Slack Off
- Earthquake
- Whirlwind / Toxic
- Return / Toxic

108/152/138/108/72/47

Ground / Fairy is possibly the best typing for taking physical hits. Resists fighting, rock, bug, dark and is immune to dragon while having few exploitable physical weaknesses. The EVs listed are placeholders for now because it could possibly go fully spdef thanks to the small boost to def from the mega stone and new resistances. The other great part about this one is that pixilate gives it good secondary STAB coming off of 152 base atk. Protect might still be pretty effective if you run toxic but it just feels so lame running protect on a mega.

If only the mega stone boosts didn't give spatk and instead gave spdef then thi synergy between hippo and altarianite would be insane.

Aggronite Ttar seems like a cool tank, with 164 Atk and absurd bulk in sand (specsogre can't ohko in sand after rocks if fully specially defensive, obviously you shouldn't be using it as an ogre check but you get the idea. scarf keld can't 2hko a 248/0 spread, the only thing i can find that ohkos is altarianite lando-t's explosion, which isn't even se lol)

it seems pretty customisable too with a lot of offensive and support options, no recovery sucks though

if you want to keep the sand going after the first switchin you'll have to pair it with another setter, tyranitarite cradily maybe?
