iLlama

Nothing personal, I protect my people

Togekiss @ Babiri Berry
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 248 HP / 80 Def / 88 SpA / 92 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Air Slash
- Aura Sphere
- Flamethrower
- Roost

Babiri Togekiss is an amazing pair for Mega Diancie Fairy. Its obvious ground immunity and resistance to grass, paired with great defensive stats and diverse move-pool allow it to cover for a multitude of checks and counters to Mega Diancie as well as the rest of your team. Breaking down this set, Babiri berry allows Toge to not be 2hkoed by BP from Mega Scizor as well as to survive a +2 BP and Iron Head from LO, Adamant Bisharp. The EVs itself are set-up to not only take hits, but to counterattack as well. With enough invest to outspeed Adamant Bisharp and high chance of KO-ing Mega Scizor alone, Babiri Togekiss does its job well in repelling Mega Diancie threats.

252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 248 HP / 80 Def Babiri Berry Togekiss: 115-136 (30.8 - 36.4%) -- 62.1% chance to 3HKO
252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 248 HP / 80 Def Togekiss: 230-272 (61.6 - 72.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
88 SpA Togekiss Flamethrower vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Mega Scizor: 328-388 (95.6 - 113.1%) -- 75% chance to OHKO
252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Iron Head vs. 248 HP / 80 Def Babiri Berry Togekiss: 175-207 (46.9 - 55.4%) -- 69.5% chance to 2HKO
88 SpA Togekiss Aura Sphere vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Bisharp: 388-460 (143.1 - 169.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Running Flamethrower over Fire Blast is purely to prevent missing. Would you rather have always hit and have a high chance of killing or miss a game-changing Fire Blast? Beyond steel threats, Togekiss also gives you options against Choice users, Mega Venusaur, etc. that could otherwise ravage your team.

Klefki @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Foul Play
- Thunder Wave

Klefki supports Mega Diancie really well by providing a helpful steel neutrality. Reflect and Light Screen help Mega Diancie single-handedly destroy teams while Foul Play beats set up sweepers such as Mega Scizor. Thunder Wave slows down threats including Jirachi making it easier for Mega Diancie to come in and take it down.

Azumarill @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Play Rough
- Aqua Jet
- Knock Off

Azumarill I feel is an amazing partner for Mega Diancie, especially since both of them, respectively Physical and Special, are Wallbreakers! Azumarill can not only sweep late game once Belly Drum is set successfully. but it can also break a lot of Pokemon that tend to wall Mega Diancie's range of moveset. It's also a great Steel neutral (one of only a small amount), so majority of the time it can sponge most steel attacks which Diancie is 4x weak to.

What did u except ? (Clefable) @ Kee Berry
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Flamethrower
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Moonlight

Credits Firnen for the godlike set.

Unaware Keefable check many threats to Dianciel ike Bisharp and Scizor, and also wall many things and setup on there, and Diancie bring an "immunity" to statuts with Magic Bounce, and fast offensive pressure with 110 BS in speed.

Lets Heat things up a bit...

Granbull @ Babiri Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 60 HP / 196 Atk / 252 Def
Adamant Nature
- Fire Punch
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Play Rough

Granbulls Intimidate lowers threats atk by one stage [NOTE: DONT SWITCH IN ON A BISHARP], The Babiri Berry also halves the damage taken from a Steel-Type attack, thus making it a good switch in to Scizor, which Mega Diancie surely doesn't appreciate. the 196 atk EVs are just enough to kill a Mega Scizor after 1 layer of spikes

252 Atk Life Orb Bisharp Iron Head vs. 60 HP / 252 Def Babiri Berry Granbull: 157-187 (46.7 - 55.6%) -- 75.4% chance to 2HKO
-1 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 60 HP / 252 Def Babiri Berry Granbull: 76-91 (22.6 - 27%) -- 45.4% chance to 4HKO
-1 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 60 HP / 252 Def Granbull: 152-182 (45.2 - 54.1%) -- 48% chance to 2HKO
196+ Atk Granbull Fire Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Scizor: 248-292 (88.2 - 103.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO after 1 layer of Spikes
196+ Atk Granbull Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Bisharp: 520-612 (191.8 - 225.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

and i cant stress enough on this, dont switch in on a bisharp, basically let it come to u

I think klefki is good to have on any team

Week 5

Volcanion
Type: Water

Volcanion @ Choice Specs
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA
- Fire Blast
- Steam Eruption
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Sludge Wave

Build Deadline: July 1
Voting Deadline: July 3

Confluxx [Old]

Banned deucer.

Azumarill (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Waterfall
- Knock Off
- Aqua Jet

Sap Sipper Azumarill is a great partner for Volcanion on Water because it helps in in breaking Grass. Modest Choice Specs Volcanion is outsped by Jolly Breloom and Serperior and Sap Sipper Azumarill is the perfect counter to both of those. It also switches in to Mega Charizard Y quite well and is able to deal with it.

sigh my streak broke because of /pick, hate lucky players

Gyarados-Mega @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ice Fang
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- Waterfall

Mega Gyarados couples well with Volcanion since Volcanion can easily eliminate threats that stop Mega Gyarados once it has set up a DD, including Skarmory and Ferrothorn. It also forms a core that can hit hard and wallbreak from both ends of the spectrum. This Gyarados set in particular can provide a dangerous win con vs Dragon, a type that Volcanion cannot touch. Adamant nature makes it a potent set up sweeper but Jolly can be used to outspeed Scarf Hoopa-U, Togekiss, Chandelure etc. at +1 and Scarf Latios and Gengar at +2.

Empoleon @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 60 Def / 196 SpD
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Defog
- Roar

empoleon works as a nice partner for volcanion for two reasons
  1. stealth rock: volcanion really appreciates having stealth rock on the opposing side of the field, as it allows it to have a much easier time breaking through the opponent's team now that the foe takes damage upon switching in. for example, volcanion's sludge wave has a very high chance of taking out togekiss from full health when stealth rock are present on the field, whereas if stealth rock are not present, it's a guaranteed 2hko.
  2. hazard removal: due to volcanion's fire typing, it takes 25% damage from stealth rock upon switching in. empoleon can solve this problem thanks to its access to defog which removes hazards from both sides of the field, easing the pressure off from volcanion and allowing it to switch in more freely.
some other useful traits of empoleon include its decent 88 / 84 / 101 bulk and its ability to phaze with roar which can be useful to rack up stealth rock damage on the foe.
