Hello everyone! Welcome to the 2nd iteration of National Dex Same Trios! In this double elimination tournament, participants shall participate in teams of three (trios) with each teammate playing one of the following formats: Same Solo/Same Duo/Same Six. Same Solos and Same Duos will be best-of-three each while Same Six will be best-of-one. Each round will have different sets of Pokemon while each set in Solo and Duo within a round will have different Pokemon. The Trios winning two battles will proceed to the next round!

Rules to be followed:
- Players can use a different variant of the same species of mentioned Pokemon (eg. Persian-alola for Persian/Ampharos-mega for Ampharos) but not a different species of Pokemon that evolve from the same species (eg, Perrserker!=Persian)
- Mega-Evolutions can be used in all formats, Z-moves can only be used in Same Six (banned in Solo and Duo) and Terastalization and Hidden Power are banned in all.
- Hidden Power is also banned in all game modes.
- Read and use the challenge codes for better understanding of bans/unbans and to prevent mess-ups.
- Same Solos and Same Duos are best-of-threes and linear sequence should be followed in between sets meanwhile Same Sixes are best-of-ones.
- Tournament Battles are to be played on Pokemon Showdown.
- Follow all applicable Smogon Tournament Rules and General Guidelines, including but not limited to rules against ghosting, timer/disconnect clauses, and activity calls.
- You must upload and post replays when claiming wins.
- The Trio winning two battles proceeds to the next round.
