So, this set is here to stop taunting physical walls from ruining everything, eh emm Skarmory, and this set keeps it from Whirlwinding Ursaring out. I was just wondering what smogoners would think. WARNING: THIS SET HAS PROBLEMS WITH GHOSTS!

Ursaring @ Leftovers
Ability: Guts
Nature: Jolly
EV: 238 HP / 40 Def / 232 Spd
-Bulk Up
-Taunt
-Return
-Earthquake

With these EVs, this outspeeds the common Taunters, Gyarados and Tyranitar, well it outspeeds Bulky Gyarados, anyways, it also easily outspeeds Skarmory. After a Bulk Up, these are the calculations Skarmory's Drill Peck, Gyarados's Waterfall, and Tyranitar's Stone Edge.

Skarmory 196 Atk Drill Peck after Bulk Up: 16-18%
Gyarados's 319 Waterfall after Bulk Up: 25%-29%
Tyranitar's 403 Stone Edge after Bulk Up: 39-46%

Skarmory 196 Atk Drill Peck after 2 Bulk Ups: 12-14%
Gyarados's 319 Waterfall after 2 Bulk Ups: 19-22%
Tyranitar's 403 Stone Edge after 2 Bulk Ups: 29-34%

After 2 rounds of Bulk Up and taking hits, net damage, leftovers/weather figured in:

Skarmory: 16-20%
Gyarados: 32-39%
Tyranitar: 68-80%

Now, Ursaring's boosted attacks after Bulk Upping:

(1 Bulk Up)
444 Return vs. 334 HP / 416 Def Skarmory: 17-20%
296(Intimidate) Return vs. 384 HP / 239 Def Gyarados: 35-41%
444 Earthquake vs. 404 HP / 256 Def Tyranitar: 62-73%

(2 Bulk Ups)
592 Atk Return vs. 334 HP / 416 Def Skarmory: 23-27%
444 Atk(Intimidate) Return vs. 384 HP / 239 Def Gyarados: 52-61%
592 Atk Earthquake vs. 404 HP / 256 Def Tyranitar: 83-97%

After 2 rounds of Bulk Up and taking hits, net damage, leftovers/weather figured in:

Skarmory has taken: 27-34% including leftovers.
Gyarados has taken: 74-89% including Intimidate/leftovers.
Tyranitar has taken: 113-133% from 2 EQs after 1 Bulk Up.

With all of these calculations, you can see that this Ursaring will be outdamaging its most feared enemies, Taunters, and pseudo hazers, and will also outspeed them.

Problem is Skarm still phases it, and the set is only really effective if it switches in on Gyara, but Ursaring doesn't really want to switch in on anything Gyara is using not called Ice Fang. If its already DDed you are in additional trouble.

I can see this beating TTar however, you'd have taken so much damage it its no longer useful beyond that. And if they switch out to anything faster its pretty much over.

Do people really keep TTar in on Ursaring?

Anyways, wouldn't Quick Feet be better, considering it's speed is important to this set working?

....another thing- this M/s is walled by any levitating ghost as well...(Gengar/Mismagius)

but I've always have been interested in Bulk Up Ursaring...

Use facade swords dance and facade with magnezone. Since magnezone is actually awesome and can do a lot more than magneton could do in advance (boom, magnet rise, flash cannon etc..)

Or you could use fire punch

you haven't included calculation of earthquake vs things like metagross, jirachi, rhyperior, etc. If you're not afraid of these things but you are of tyranitar, couldn't you just brick break it or something.

I want to try out Protect/Facade/Earthquake/Fire Punch or Crunch @ Toxic Orb with Quick Feet. Somewhat novelty I guess but it makes a nice cleaner of slower pokemon. Quick Feet gives it 343 Speed with Jolly making it able to outrun neutral 120s.
