Pokémon XY Leaks

I, personally, think it would be interesting to see Snorunt and Glalie as Fairy types. Snorunt, at least, fits with depictions of mythological fey, which is probably why it was in the egg group in the first place, and it would give it some more significance for use both in game and possibly even competitively.

The main retypes I have a problem with are of Psychics whose "fairy" qualities are questionable. Mr. Mime being part fairy reinforces the absurd overlap between the two, while I think Psychics and fairies should be completely different flavor-wise. They're both pink, specially based, and good against fighting. (Mr. Mime really is the only fairy so far whose retyping I have a problem with, maybe Granbull too if he ends up without any good physical STAB)
Mime Jr. definitely looks fairy to me

It was not worth introducing a new typing so late into the franchise 13 years ago.
Is there a point here? The pokemon games had room to grow back then. It's also worth noting that the magnemite line had justice done to them (besides not having levitate).

Or else you're just adding fuel to the fire.

On the subject of the rumored weather changes, take it with a grain of salt. We still have no verification that change was actually made. Our only source on this is porneon and we have no video or photographic evidence from him yet.
I'm trying to upload the video righ now.
inside a bus, its raining AND my phone internet is not even near from being awesome.
Consider this as you wish until i bring the video.

EDIT: I have the game since day 3, to be honest.
But cant play as much as I want, since I am organizing the release party in a store at my city. Work with video games rules an sucks at the same time.

Do you ever think that gf retyped a bunch of old pokemon on the off chance that everyone ends up already liking a fairy type?
I don't care much for the new fairies but... Gardevoir and Mawile suit my tastes VERY well.

I am more worried they retyped a lot of old Pokemon to fairy type but forgot to give them usable STAB fairy moves, and ones appropriate to their stats...

I really doubt this would happen, but it would REALLY interesting to see for example Snorunt as Ice/Fairy or Grass/Fairy with Eviolite, while Abomasnow keep his Ice/Grass type. It would be another one of those rare VIABLE evolutions, where earlier stage has different typing than final one.

I also agree with Glalie. So far I think it would be the only Fairy type with Spikes, which gives him pretty damn good niche. His movepool is also pretty good with access to support moves like Taunt, Light Screen, Super Fang, Disable, Icy Wind, Toxic and Body Slam. Interesting Fairy type, indeed.

EDIT: I thought of Snover, not Snorunt, why the hell I made this mistake...

Snorunt evolves into Glalie. Snover evolves into Abomasnow. Snover absolutely should not be fairy. Snorunt, sure wynaut.

Another Yveltal, Level 52, Sassy. Probably has a few EVs.

Sorry if it seems like I'm obsessed with this thing! Also it knows Foul Play.
Woah did you notice that homeless looking mystery man? He seems pretty attached to that new flower pokemon.
I read a few days ago on a lore in game about a man that lost his pokemon and did eveything to bring it back to life
but the pokemon left him because it knew what had happened to bring it back...Seems like thats whats going on in those pics huh?

I always viewed Glalie as kind of like Gardevoir; there always seemed like there should be something more, that the other one was always unquestionably better (not that that'll change much).

And so if GF is using Fairy as their go-to "fix it" typing, than Glalie should definitely get it, besides other factors already mentioned.

In some of the reviews, people said that XY tends to stutter during some especially graphically intensive moments. Do you think the game will run better on a cartridge or downloaded from the eShop?

Snover evolves into Abomasnow, actually. I was speaking of Snorunt, which evolves into Glalie.

It would lose the Fighting weakness, and gain resistances to Dark and Bug, in exchange for weaknesses to Poison and a 4x to Steel. Not bad, I think.

And, ultimately, it wouldn't matter if it got physical or special Fairy moves, with the balanced base stats (although I'd be more in favour of special, what with Ice Beam). Too bad we probably won't see until December.

EDIT: Ugh it ate half of my post >_<

Unless you use a really bad SD card (the default one isn't amazing but isn't terrible) then performance should be about the same. Anecdotally, there were periods when FE:A experiences slowdown, and I feel like this happened a little more often on the cartridge than on the SD card - but I can't say for sure.

I'm trying to decide how I should get the game, I think the downloadable version is probably the superior one, but I'm really not sure.

Buying the actual physical cart is the best way to go. Nintendo's draconian system policies means digital downloads are restricted only to the system you downloaded them to, and you are at Nintendo's mercy to allow you to move the to a new system in the future. You also can only transfer them a limited number of times.

Not only that, but if you want both X and Y, you will need two 3DSs anyway to trade between them. Remember the Poke Bank will NOT allow you to transfer items, only Pokemon, so any Mega Stones you get on X can not be transferred to Y if they both exist on the same SD card/same 3DS.

True, you won't be able to back up your X and Y saves from the cart like you can an SD card, but the benefits outweigh the downsides.
