Once I left a finished peanut butter jar to rinse, with the lid slightly on, but forgot about it for a few days. The smell of days-old, bottled-up, wet remains of peanut butter.

Once when I finished a peanut butter jar I filled it with water and left it to sit for rinsing purposes, with the lid on. And then I forgot about it for a few days.

that's actually not too bad, for me its rotten food like if i forgot a slice of pizza in my closet from 6 months ago
