Welcome to Week 1 of the Random Battles Team Tour, where 8 teams will compete for the title of RBTT Champion as well as a custom avatar!

Tournament Rules
  • The tournament will consist of 8 teams battling it out in a Round Robin format over seven weeks; after that, the four best teams overall will move onto playoffs.
  • Each series will be played as a Best of 3
  • Matches are to be played on Pokémon Showdown.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts, get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.
  • Replays of the matches must be posted to verify a win; if replays are not posted, the match doesn't count.
General Tournament Rules
  • Scheduling: Attempt to contact your opponent by posting on their smogon profile as soon as possible. It is strongly advised to schedule publicly there on Smogon so the host can make any necessary activity calls. If you cannot get in contact with your opponent, inform the host in this thread so we can make any necessary substitution. If you have made no visible contact, the host may substitute you out for another player.
  • Timer Clause and Disconnections: The timer is not required to be on during games; however, if the timer is on and a player runs out of time, their opponent wins the game via timeout. If a player disconnects and thus times out, this also counts as a loss for the player who disconnected.

Am I really about to predict 48 matches...you bet your randbats-playin butt I am! Well actually 36, not gonna bet on matches from my own team to avoid bias ;) so without further ado:

Diancie vs Skymin:

pokeblade101 vs sigmatecture - a tough one cause both of these guys are flames, but I've seen more of Blade and I think he has the edge here *cue groans*
Prosaic vs Staxi - didn't get to see much of Staxi last rbtt but ik he's pretty heat, I just know of Prosaic a bit more so going with him
SMB vs necywang - I never bet against my boi
martha vs cloudiness - I'ma stay neutral here cause I don't wanna get demoted
Diophantine vs El quimico del pueblucho - going dio cause I'm mad at el quimico for having such a difficult name to type out >:[
Amaranth vs nui - nui is fren and that's obviously enough credentials
maroon vs Poison Adhesive - PA was a top contender in mono last season I expect him to be just as good if not better
Jrdn vs Zephyr Dragon Lord - already happened so this doesn't count but I woulda predicted ZDL anyways
Mannat vs ihasdisname - Mannat loses by timer cause he has to give his mom a forehead massage
Santu vs TheFranklin - arce9 is always a dark horse in tours I think he'll go a long way
Lego vs Kaori - I dont really know either guy but who doesnt love Lego's
London13 vs legendary - I think legendary probably takes rands but I have london for hc and bf

Winner: Diancie (if martha wins which she totally will #1 RO plz dont demote)

WeepingDevil vs Jynx Nuggets - Weep had the best bssf last year also what in the fresh fuck is a Jynx nugget
Elgino10 vs Jacked - Jacked was imo one of the most suited individuals for the bo3 also he has working wifi

jasprose vs 100%GXE - GXE has never lost a single match in his entire life
Theron vs Fissure - both are good but singles favors Fissure (rip DHC)
i want a lamp vs bike waffles - both are good another toss up
SpunkJockey vs Hamhamhamham - the man has 4 whole hams that's op
DarkFlames64 vs soTsoT - never seen TDF play bssf so gonna have to go soTsoT (rip dubs - how many metas did we kill oml)
Lucas2543 vs Panty&Stockings - another highlight match, gonna give it to P&S cause of how well they did last year

Winner: Hoopa (no threepeat tho)

I literally did like this whole thing on mobile and I feel like I just walked through the seventh circle of hell so I hope y'all enjoy!
