BUG -mz

[OVERVIEW]

Silvally-Bug's access to both Parting Shot and STAB U-turn could've been a potent combination to serve as a defensive pivot, but its mediocre stats and poor defensive typing along with its weakness to Stealth Rock, vulnerability to Spikes and poor matchup against almost all entry hazard setters as a Defogger hurt its viability a lot. As an offensive Bug-type, it is vastly outclassed by Scyther, and there's no reason to run it over a more viable Silvally form like Silvally-Dragon, whose typing and access to STAB Draco Meteor outclass it greatly.

[SET]
name: Offensive Utility
move 1: Multi-Attack
move 2: Parting Shot / U-turn
move 3: Defog
move 4: Fire Fang
item: Bug Memory
ability: RKS System
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Utilizing Parting Shot or U-turn in combination with Defog, Silvally-Bug attempts to be an offensive pivot. However, Silvally-Bug is not viable due to being inferior to almost every other Silvally form and a plethora of other Bug-types like Scyther and Pinsir. It also is a bad Defog user due to its poor defensive typing that results in it being weak to Stealth Rock and hit by both Spikes and Toxic Spikes.

However, Silvally-Bug is not viable, due to being inferior to almost every other Silvally form(eh, most of them also suck so its not a very good comparison), and a plethora of other Bug-types like Scyther and Pinsir, and is a bad Defog user due to it's poor defensive typing(mention weak to sr and susceptible to all hazards again).

Silvally-Bug's access to both Parting Shot and STAB U-Turn could've been a potent combination to serve as a defensive pivot, but it's wrong one reeeeeee mediocre stats, poor defensive typing and being a Defog user that's weak to Stealth Rock, hit by Spikes and matches up poorly against almost all entry hazard setters hurt its viability a lot.
